Beautiful, completely renovated 4 bedroom, 2 bath home. Village home is 4 blocks from "down town", public beach, marina, bakery, grocery store, galleries, shops, restaurants, brew pub, and golf course.. Easy walk or bike to all village attractions. Popular wedding venue, Willowbrook, is a 3 block walk. Music in the park every Friday evening (summer months). Beautiful marina with public boat launch and beach on North end of Grand Traverse Bay. Close to State Park and lighthouse with miles of beach and pristine shoreline. Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore as well as numerous wineries and golf opportunities are just minutes from this prime location. House is 4 bedroom (three queens, two singles) and two full baths. Central A/C, cable TV, wi-fi, DVD, washer and dryer are available for use. Kitchen is equipped with microwave, coffee maker, Kuerig, blender, coffee bean grinder, and dishwasher. All stainless appliances and granite counter tops. Basic staples like dish washing soap, paper towels, sugar, etc are provided. Bathtub/shower in lower bath and upper bath has shower only. Hairdryers are provided. Plenty of nice fluffy towels and extra linens for all the beds in each bedroom. Lower bedrooms have ceiling fans, uppers have stand fans, and all have large windows. Home has original wood floors in living and dining room and tile in kitchen and bath. No carpeting in house. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. House has a beautiful large covered and lighted front porch with furniture and nice glider. There is a picnic table in the back yard. We hope you will love it as much as we do. Northport is a great vacation getaway any time of the year. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ALLOW A DOG UPON PRE-APPROVAL AND FEE IS $150.00. This is a lovely house in a beautiful neighborhood!Everything was spotless, the beds were very comfortable, and the rooms were spacious. We had everything we needed for a great stay! The location was perfect; all the stores and restaurants in town were within easy walking distance. My friends and I hope to rent this house again the next time we come to Northport.

Excellent Property Close to Everything!

For our group of 4 couples, this was the ideal spot for an extended weekend stay. The house is fully furnished and very comfortable, including excellent AC and fans for those hot summer weeks. John was also a helpful, thoughtful host. We will definitely be back! Thanks for everything!

Family reunion

This is our second time staying in this beautiful home. The kitchen is fully furnished and more! We had no trouble with wi-Fi at this home. Everything you need is in walking distance of this home. Check-in was very smooth and the owners are the best, prompt and always available! Thanks so much!

Excellent stay!

We have stayed at several Northport rentals over the years and this was by far our favorite! Very clean, nice walk to town but very quiet street, plenty of space and nice yard, central air was nice! Highly recommend!

Beautiful Northport

We really enjoyed this rental. It is comfortable and lovely. We enjoyed the beds, yards, location, set up for sleeping the children. It was easy to be in this well kept, comfy, clean home. We will definitely go back.

Yellow house vacation

The house was in a great location, and very well furnished. It managed to meet all our needs and expectations. Our grandchildren enjoyed staying with us for the week. We had lots of space, and did not have to be on top of each other. The experience was by far the best we have had.

Relaxing

This was our 5th year in a row coming to the Leelanau peninsula and 3rd year in a row of staying in Northport. Northport hosts the "Uncaged" festival the last Saturday in September so it's an especially fun time to be there. The house was very clean and tidy. We especially enjoyed the covered front porch. We've already discussed going back!

Perfect location for wedding in town

We enjoyed our stay just a few blocks from willowbrook where we were getting married. The home was warm and inviting. Everything was clean and the home was spacious. The only downfall was the upstairs shower is too small for the shower head that is there and the water soaks the floor. Highly recommend and will be back!

Charming Northport!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming home in Northport. The lodging was more than we expected, roomy bedrooms, lovely kitchen and enjoyable front porch for visiting and pure enjoyment. The children loved the backyard as they polished and painted their Petoskey stones. The proximity to the bakery, marina, and restaurants added to the ease of our stay. The owners were gracious and attended to all our needs. Without a doubt, we plan on going back next year.

Northport Vacation

Great house, quiet street, responsive owners. House was very clean, the only issue was a plumbing leak which prevented us from using 2nd shower for last half of our stay. The owner was very quick to try to address the issue. We loved Northport as it was not nearly so crowded as some of the other Lake Michigan resort towns. On a side note for those of you traveling with your pets, our elderly dog had a medical emergency on our trip and the staff at Bay Area Pet Hospital in Traverse City were wonderful.

Better than advertised

We arrived a mess, our car engine failed, but the house was recently updated ,roomy, well outfitted and a large front porch. Located near downtown we would have a wonderful walk to the beach, bakery, grocery, at least 6 restaurants, the Friday night concerts and the farmersā€™ market. The dog park was two blocks the other direction with recycling four blocks and dispensary about three. Hosts are ultra responsive obliging and very understanding.

Great!

Loved our stay here!! Pictures do not give it justice. Itā€™s so cute!!! It was clean, close to town, which is also adorable, and super close to a great little golf course too! House had plenty of towels, extra linens, ziplock bags, all manner of soaps, good internet, and lots of good TV channels. We explored Northport and the Leelanau peninsula area during our stay and was always happy to come back to this cute little house! Neighborhood was quiet, plenty of shops and restaurants in Northport. ( and it wasnā€™t crazy busy like some tourist towns up there are) We even found a great little spot to watch the sunset on Lake Michigan a short drive away. Would definitely recommend, and we hope to come back!

Relax and Enjoy Northport

This home, yard and front porch help to make this lovely well kept home a wonderful experience when visiting Northport. The furnishing are well maintained and comfortable. There are four nice size bedrooms, a comfortable living area, two bathrooms, and a nicely stocked kitchen. The home is within walking distance to the marina, park and downtown Northport. You can enjoy 'Music in the Park' on Friday as well as the outdoor market. It is a short ride to Omena, Suttons Bay and Leland for great resturants and fun shops. We used the BBQ often and ate out on the picnic table almost every night. Our children and friends came to visit. We could all sat out on the large front porch to visit and enjoy the locals as they walked or drove past. Everyone waves and stops to chat. The owners, Jon and Carol, are tops. They kept in touch and make us feel welcome to their lovely home. Thank You both for opening it to us and welcoming our dog, Copper who spent most of his time on the porch with everyone.

Great Location!

Our family had a great stay - so close to the golf course, walks into town, short drives to beaches and the surrounding towns. It was a great place to jump off from but also a good place to unwind. We really enjoyed spending time on the front porch while it rained. The neighborhood was so quiet and relaxing - which was great for our kids at night after long, fun days.

Convenience in Northport

My father, my son and I rented this for a little g weekend. Easy walk into town, enough space for all of us, great front porch to watch the neighborhood go by, kitchen and BBQ if you don't want to eat out all the time. Quiet and peaceful and Northport is really lovely!

Great Getaway!

Great location! Walking distance to town and the marina! We enjoyed day trips to Sutton's Bay, Leelanau, and Sleeping Bear Dunes. The home was clean and had all the conveniences needed for a getaway! We loved hanging on the front porch.

John and Carol are married and have lived in Leelanau county since 1994. We reside in an old farm house from the 1860"s. We are born and raised Michiganders that returned to this area after living 11 years in San Diego. John is self employed and Carol is a retired therapist. We love the outdoors, the beach, cross country skiing, hiking, biking and all the things that lead us to this beautiful place.

Por que o anfitriĆ£o escolheu essa propriedade

We chose Northport for our rental because the village is old style quaint yet "hip" as well. It reminds one of a New England coast town. It is at the tip of the Leelanau peninsula and is not overrun with tourists and has maintained it's character. We love the entire village as it has everything you may want or need. Being right in the village you can walk or ride bikes to everything. There is every outdoor thing you might want and the marina park is beautiful. People are friendly and it seems no one is ever in a hurry.

Pet allowed upon approval (one dog only). Home has large covered front porch for those rainy days that might occur. Within walking distance to beach and park. Great swimming beach for children as it is shallow for a long distance out.
