Newly renovated 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home (8.5 miles from airport)

Our home was remodeled five years ago with new floors, bathrooms, kitchen cabinets, granite counter tops, and much more. The main floor bathroom has a soaking clawfoot tub, graphite tiles, and other touches giving it a classic feel. The 1st main floor bedroom is kid friendly and has a flat screen TV. The 2nd main floor bedroom has a walk-in closet. The upstairs bedroom suite has a huge walk in closet with a full length mirror. The upstairs double rain shower is very spacious and encased with frameless glass and Quartzite, and has his and her vanity mirrors and sinks. There is a bonus room upstairs with a futon that can be used as an office/extra bedroom. The kitchen has new cabinets, granite counter tops, and new stainless steel appliances. There is a laundry room just off the kitchen. The carpet is new, the wood floors newly refinished. There is Travertine tile in the kitchen, laundry room, and entryways. The ceilings have been replaced with knockdown texturing and recessed lighting. There is a small back yard with a 2 car garage. The house is a gem and you will love it. No smoking allowed!!

We had a lovely stay! We had all the space we needed and we especially appreciated the toys for our little boys (including a little slide for the yard!), the garage, and the large upstairs spaces!

Great place for a family to stay

This place was ideally located for family events in West St. Paul. Easy to find and well appointed. Matt was very responsive to a small issue that came up. Will be back to stay very soon!

Perfect location, nice and clean

I booked this home for a family vacation to visit relatives that live in W. St. Paul. The home was very clean and had plenty of room for me and my 2 teens. The location was perfect and very close to everything. Downtown St. Paul is minutes away and there was plenty of shopping in the area. The neighborhood was very quiet and safe. I enjoyed the outside sitting area as well as use of the grill. This home was perfect for our stay and was nicely stocked with spices, bathroom toiletries, and plenty of cooking utensils/pots. All appliances worked perfectly. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location And very cozy

Property had everything we needed for our stay. Very clean end well maintained. Owners were very responsive although we didn’t have any issues. They made check in and out very easy. Very central location to all we did in Minneapolis and St. Paul. Nice quiet neighborhood location near lots of places to eat.

Frozen Four Hockey

House was a 10 min drive from the Xcel Center for the hockey tournament. Plenty of places to eat nearby and nice quiet neighborhood. Home was beautiful and just as pictured, there were no problems at all. Thanks for the great stay.

Great for Families

We had a great time during our stay in St. Paul. Perfect neighborhood for families. Short distance from Mall of America, Hmong Village, and attractions. The house was perfect. Pleanty of room for the 7 of us, clean, GREAT kitchen, 2 BATHROOMS!! Master bathroom was awesome, super comfy beds, good parking,. We will definitely book this place when we come back! Great communication. Perfect!!

Great place to stay in St. Paul

This property had a well equipped kitchen and was a great place for us to base out of while visiting family over the Thanksgiving holiday. Everything was updated and well maintained, and very clean. The upstairs bathroom has a huge shower and was very nice! Communication with the owners was prompt and helpful. The yard looked nice but it was too cold for us to be outside on our trip. The only drawback is that there really isn't a table to sit down at to eat, but since we were having most of our meals out it wasn't an issue for us. There is an island in the kitchen with bar stool seating. The location is convenient to the airport and St. Paul. Parking was easy. We would stay here again!

Great home away from home

We stayed here about a week. We had 2 kids under 10 and 2 adults. There was ample space for all of us. We had all the necessities. The neighborhood seemed very safe and we liked parking in the garage (felt even safer) since no driveway up to the home (street parking only). We found it was a great location for all we wanted to do! Close to pretty much everything. The home itself was close to stores and restaurants. One thing to note we are ranch dwellers and though I am clumsy by nature, both myself and my 6 yo fell down the steps. Now I can say that it was likely a part of us not paying attention to new surroundings but if you aren't used to steps don't try to go down carrying things, you might end up a bit bruised like us! Other than that we'd likely stay here if we ever visit this area in the future!

Fall vacation

Stairs are very narrow , one of the steps are very loose as well one of my grand daughters fell down them shes 10 There is absolutely no blinds in any room neighbor kept looking in did not feel safe especially at night everyone just driving by can see in blinds would make a huge feel for this house There is a tapestry sofa by the front window anyone that sat there got fleas on them My husband is higly alergic to cats and he couldnt be in the house without using alegra 24 The upstairs bed my daughter said the pillow smelled like cat spray So who ever stayed before us definatly had a cat with them Over all stay was very nice dont get me wrong The house was well stocked with supplies felt at home otherwise the few issues. I took pictures but didt know on vrbo you cant submit pics But just looked back in the pics and you can see there is no blinds never knew when booking it was really rhat way ... just thought they took the pictures that way

We do not allow pets in the home. The home was thoroughly cleaned before your arrival. The fabric couch was vacummed. We don't know which stairs you are referring to. We have examined all the stairs and did not find a loose stair. You did not contact us during or after your stay to address your complaints.

Very nice house

The house was very nice. Everything was as advertised. I have allergies to fragrances and notified the hosts. They ensured I had unscented laundry soap and a vinegar based cleaning product. They were very easy to work with and responsive. Nice outside seating area and the garage was very convenient. This would be a very nice addition to have in the winter.

Great Stay in West St. Paul!

We spent several days at this house in West St Paul, and it was an excellent experience. First, the house is spacious, well furnished, and even nicer than the photos. All of the amenities we wanted were already there at the house! We have a toddler and infant, and there was a room full of kids toys, a travel crib, a high chair, a toddler seat for the toilet, and many other wonderful discoveries that made the stay with two small kids really easy. The upstairs rooms were cozy and very soundproofed, which was nice with the infant. It was a quiet neighborhood, as well. Communication with the hosts was excellent, and they were very quick to reply to our messages throughout the visit. I highly recommend this house for anyone looking to stay in the area!

A perfect location that satisfies all your needs

This premise was fantastic! We had a gread one-week stay at Hurley House. The location is perfect for trips around the twin cities area. Supermarkets, restaurants, the highway - everything is close. You can park right in front of the door along the street. The house is very welcoming, warm, and cosy. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, moreover a very spacy kitchen, a large living room, and one more living area on the second floor. The rooms are all were friendly and cosy. The house is well-equipped with everything you need: A/C, 3 TVs (even apple tv and a google firestick), a well-equipped kitchen (big fridge, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, cutlery, plates and glasses, pots, a dish-washer with even dishwashing liquid provided - you may continue to itemize. There's even sugar, salt, flour, teabags and some more products provided). Also the bathrooms are well-eqipped with shampoo and shower gel, hair dryer, first-aid kit, body lotion, and even more hygiene products. Especially the bathroom on the second floor is gorgeous: a spacious room with a huge double rain shower and big sinks - a perfect dream! Moreover, there are a washing machine, a dryer, washing powder, a flat iron, and lots of other amenities I forget to mention available. Actually, you don't miss anything when staying at Hurley House. Landlord and landlady are both very nice and helfpul. You can reach them at any time by email or phone. They would get back to you within minutes or hours at the longest. The whole renting process was uncomplicated. I'd definitely stay at Hurley House again if I come back to the Minnesota/St. Paul area once.

The house was a perfect fit for our family! It was very clean, and everyone was quite comfortable. We were able to have a few out of town family members over for dinner on Friday - the kitchen was well stocked, easy to work in and there was plenty of room for everyone to sit! The only thing that would've made it more comfortable would've been if we had TV trays, but that was a very minimal inconvenience. I definitely can see us staying at the Hurley house again in the future!! Thank you Matt and Debbie!!

Wonderful host and home

Located in a quiet, mature neighborhood very close to downtown St. Paul. Many restaurants and other amenities nearby. 15 minutes to Mpls-St Paul airport. Very clean home, excellent kitchen, supplied with everything we needed and beyond. Highly recommend this host and home. We had 6 people including a 7 and 1 year old. Toys to play with were provided for the kids and a pack and play. 3 very modern and sweet TVs with Apple TVs, Netflix, many cable channels. Kitchen appliances are top of the line. Beds are very comfortable, quiet upper bonus room for relaxing. Our family was very comfortable and happy here. Great communication, very easy check in/out. Everything was perfect. The hosts thought of everything. You won't be disappointed with the hosts or their home.

Just AWESOME!

Debbie and Matt were fabulous hosts! Great communication. The home is very nicely updated and clean. The master suite upstairs (which my brother's kindly assigned to me)is huge! The bed is super comfortable and I slept like a baby~the neighborhood is very quiet. Everyone used the gorgeous shower upstairs, just easier. This would be my first pick if I need to come back to St. Paul. Debbie went above and beyond to accomodate us.

We purchased Hurley house in 2012 and for the next 2 years deconstructed/reconstructed the main floor and upstairs. Our son and autistic grandson lived in Hurley house and now live with us. Guests can reach us by phone or email as often as they wish. We live just 10 minutes from Hurley house, so if we are needed, we can be there fast. We have a folder in the kitchen listing local restaurants, shopping areas, grocery stores, local areas of interest, and things to do.
