Quiet, Private Retreat in the Heart of the Marigny Triangle

Fleur de Marigny is a private guest suite that has been completely renovated with loving historic detail. It is spacious, with 12 ft ceilings, crown moldings, and original hardwood floors, and is conveniently located, yet residential and safe.

We take great pride in hosting our guests and accommodating all their needs during their stay in our wonderful city. The property is a historic "sidehall shotgun" style house, built in 1836. We have our own private residence in the back and are available 24/7. There are no other guests, only the one private suite for your exclusive enjoyment.

We do not serve breakfast, however we do provide snacks, beverages, and coffee, and there are several wonderful restaurant options within walking distance. The suite includes a bedroom with a queen size bed and full closet; a bathroom with a walk-in shower and vanity; an armoire housing a digital flat screen television with Apple TV; and a spacious living room with two large windows, and a comfortable sofa. The kitchenette is equipped with a mini-refrigerator, ice maker, microwave, sink, and coffee maker. Built-ins showcase a collection of New Orleans fiction and nonfiction favorites, along with a variety of local guidebooks. Central heating and air conditioning ensure your comfort.

From our convenient Touro Street location, all of the restaurants, shops, bars, galleries, and musical attractions of Frenchmen Street and the French Quarter are just a short walk away. Or catch the horse-drawn carriages right outside the front door. We are 3 blocks away from the streetcar stop, full grocery, pharmacy, bike rental, laundromat, Starbucks and bakery. There is plenty of free on street parking.

Our property is located in one of the most desired neighborhoods in New Orleans. VRBO groups our property into the larger Faubourg Marigny neighborhood, but within that larger neighborhood we are in the heart of the golden "Marigny Triangle" -- a small sliver of residences in a quiet, historic neighborhood spanning just several quaint blocks between Frenchmen Street and the French Quarter.

We had a wonderful weekend stay! Just a couple blocks away from Frenchmen St, Ruby Slipper right around the corner, and a short walk to the great food and fun in French Quarter. Room was very comfortable and clean. We had our own private entrance. The host was very responsive and helpful when we had issues with the lockbox at check in. There were also snacks and water in the room - very thoughtful! A great weekend stay!

Although I have visited NO many times, this was my first stay in the Marigny, that district which borders the French Quarter. The apartment was exceedingly quiet on an equally quiet and lovely street. It is about a 10 or 15 minute walk to the lower Quarter and just a few minutes to the music clubs on Frenchmen street. The apartment is beautifully decorated with high end bedding and top line toiletries. There is a library of fascinating books about the history and architecture of NO. I particularly enjoyed reading "Eat Dat", a quirky discussion with local gossip about many of the cities famous restaurants. Laura met me for check-in and all went smoothly from then on.....Highly recommended !

Great Location and Quiet Neighborhood

We had a great weekend trip and enjoyed the location of the property and appreciated how quiet it was. While there is a breakfast spot close - you should definitely try Ayu Bakehouse but be sure to arrive early! Very nice property and very clean and well maintained.

Everything we needed. Comfy bed, plenty of places to sit and relax. Able to walk to the French Quarter, had a great breakfast at the Ruby Slipper. Not a complaint, just a suggestion. Shore head could use updating and I wish the tv was in the sitting area. Hubby likes to get up early and watch. Very minor and wouldnā€™t keep us from coming again.

An absolutely great location thatā€™s close to Frenchman, an easy walk to Bourbon, and quiet at night. Laura strikes a balance of being available on site should you need her while being completely unobtrusive. This was a fantastic stay!

Delightful rental property in the Marigny

We loved this place! The hosts were welcoming and friendly, the neighborhood was walkable and close to everything we wanted to do. Beautifully decorated in old-style with tall ceilings, lovely art and modern conveniences. Nice neighbors, too!

Amazing Location

My wife and I were so excited when we first arrived. This is a very nice place and you really feel like youā€™re a part of the history of New Orleans. The location is excellent in a safe neighborhood that is walkable to everything you want to do. The host was excellent in every way, I highly recommend this property!
