This is a wonderful 4 bedroom 2 bath upstairs vacation rental located at the corner of Inspiration Dr. East and Highway 88 in Pioneer, CA. The location is the home of Amador Station Gas and Grocery. The home sleeps 8 People with a king bed, 2 queen beds and 2 twin beds. Complete kitchen with all amenities, washing machine and dryer, local phone, cable TV, restaurants within 5 miles. Plenty of parking for all.

Great place, Very easy to get in touch with owner.

Very nice place. If any problems arise it is very easy to get a hold of owner. Very nice and understanding woman.

Inside is much nicer then you might think for being above a business. VRBO listing was accurate. Would give it 5 stars if it had wi-fi.

Perfect place for a larger group

This is our 3rd time that we stay at this place. It's very convenient for everything we need and spacious enough to fit our group. Having 4 bedrooms with a large living room is great. No issues at all

We had a family gathering campout weekend - hoping for nice fall weather but with the rain predicted, we had to find a place for place for people to stay if it rained! You saved us! And the house was such a wonderful suprise! So warm and welcoming! Thank you - we will do it again!

Great place to stay

This is a wonderful place to stay. It's in the right location, close to everything we wanted (including our friends who live literally down the street). The place was larger than expected. Comfortable, very clean and plenty of room for everyone. Having a general store downstairs is extremely convenient. We forgot a few things like oil and butter and not a problem. Walk downstairs and you got it.. including a nice beer selection :)

Girls Weekend

This house is the best, you literally have everything you need in one spot. Very homey and comfortable. Plenty of room for everyone and WiFi works great.

Snow bunnies gather

Great experience. All amenities were great, and we plan on staying again soon. It would be nice to have laundry soap and some extra paper towel rolls available to be able to be able to preemptively clean the towels and wipe down the countertops/ children’s spills.

Great rural spot

A large 4-bedroom apartment with lots of space. Very nice for the rates. Stayed two different weeks. Thanks, Tammy for making this available.

Wonder family time at Amador Station

The location of this property couldn’t be better. The place is beautiful, clean, well equipped, with a lovely fenced, wooded yard. The owners are the best! The folks who work for them are great! They all made everything easy!! I can’t say enough good things about the property, the location, the owner and process!! Great!! Great!! Great!! See you, soon!!

Had an Amazing time!!

Great place very warm and homey. It is much bigger in person. We had 9 people and never once felt crowed. Greatest thing is the store being so close. Beautiful area with lots to see and explore!! I would definitely stay here again when I come back this way.

Kids said this was the "Greatest Snow Trip Ever!"

The rental was spacious and clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed for our large group and the accessibility and convenience of the location was fantastic. The beds were comfy, there were enough towels and pillows and blankets, the kitchen had all of the essentials we needed to cook and if we forgot anything, all we had to do was pop downstairs to the store. The host Tammy was incredibly helpful and super friendly. She made sure we were comfortable and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We were already planning our next trip before this one was even over!

It is a great location... store has plenty of supplies... gas/fuel is very reasonably priced

The owners were very accommodating... the location was perfect as we went to a wedding down Inspiration Drive. The place is larger then the pictures showed... plenty of room for all 8 of us!

Comfy and cozy

Our family stayed at Amador Station over the long New Years holiday. The cabin lived up to our expectations. We loved having the market and gas station on site. Extemely convenient. Perfect location and close to Kirkwood Ski Resort. The cabin/home was very roomy, comfortable and clean. The home was appointed with everything we needed to prepare our meals, which was wonderful for the six of us. There were extra bedding and a washer and dryer. Loved that - went home with a suitcase of clean clothes. There were games and some toys, which our kids enjoyed. The owner of the property, Tammy, is wonderful! We will definitely stay here again.

Amazing stay

My husband and I stayed at Amador Station recently. Wayne and Tammy were very helpful and nice to deal with. It is a great central location to everything in area. The home is very comfortable and clean as advertised. It was nice to get up and have a cup of coffee from the store below, get our fuel and snacks and be on the road in no time to our destination. This would be a great spot for skiers to stay during the winter as well, as it is close the snow country and Wayne said that they keep the parking lot clear of snow for their guests and customers. No need to clear all the snow yourself like other places.
