Short Yellowstone visit

This location was awesome for visiting Yellowstone park. Far enough away from the busy west Yellowstone to be quiet, but close enough you can walk to the grocery store. We were concerned about no a/c upon arrival, but they provided us with 3 big box fans. Very clean and plenty of room for our whole party.

Very nice condo. Extremely clean. Spacious bedrooms & comfortable beds. Convenient location.

We stayed at this condo while snowmobiling in the area. 5 adults, so more than enough bedroom & bathroom space. Wifi reception was good, gas stove in living area providing cozy ambience. Living room seating was a little tight. The condo was very clean, and fresh towels were supplied daily. Everything worked as advertised. Plenty of kitchen dishes & utensils for basic meal production. While it’s in a very convenient location, the condo is situated very close to other buildings, so there is very little outdoor space. That didn’t matter to us since it’s winter, but be aware that while there is a small balcony upstairs and a porch downstairs, your view is entirely the roof & building next to it.

Great!

Check-in was very simple and the cabin was very comfortable for our stay. Having laundry onsite was handy and the location in downtown made walking lots of places doable. All the equipment in the kitchen was in very good shape and a good selection of pots, pans, and utensils for things we wanted to cook. Towels were changed every day even though information stated only towels left on the floor would be changed.

A very pleasant stay

We had a very pleasant stay at the Trout Cabin. The house was spacious, clean and nicely furnished. It is also conveniently located in a central area of West Yellowstone. Communication with the management was always very effective and helpful. We would advice to change some of the pots and pans.

Very pleased with accommodations. Great to have three bathrooms for six adults. Close to town and park entrance. Nice touch to have coffee in refrig. Only displeasure was outdoor lights which were very bright in bedroom. Although I understand it may be personal preference on part of tenant to leave light on.

Trout Lake Cabin is one of 9 cabins at located on 3 adjoining city lots in the small town of West Yellowstone, Montana. We are in a quiet residential area just 6 blocks from the West Entrance to Yellowstone National Park and within walking distance to many shops, restaurants, a Giant Screen Theatre, the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center, and the Yellowstone Historic Center. We have two in-town grocery stores that have most of what you’ll need. We offer clean quality lodging to friends, families, and small groups traveling together visiting Yellowstone National Park and the greater Yellowstone area. We try our best to exceed your expectations!

Of the 5 towns located just outside Yellowstone National Park, West Yellowstone, Montana, is the most centrally located for touring the park. We are just a one hour drive to Old Faithful Village and one and a half hour drive to the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. Yellowstone's boundary sits at the east side of town and we are surrounded by national forest on the other three sides. In winter, you can cross country ski or snowmobile right from town to several of the national forest trail systems. We are also close to several area rivers where you can fly fish or go white water rafting.
