Come stay in the heart of Mexico Beach in this beautiful condo located directly across from the gorgeous white sand beaches. There are wonderful, unobstructed views from the furnished deck which also comes complete with ceiling fans. This unit is located on the third floor, but is laid out all on one level inside. Beach Destiny has been a popular choice for years, but since Hurricane Michael the interior of this condo has been completely redone. It has an updated, more modern look with hard surface floors throughout, brand new furniture in every room as well as all the finishings, cabinets and paint. The update has this 2-bedroom unit ready for vacations for years to come. Have the best of both worlds with a pool overlooking the gorgeous Gulf of Mexico.

Floor Plan: 1st Level-Living room with sleeper sofa, TV and DVD; kitchen with a laundry closet, dining area, Bedroom 1-a bunk set and full bath with shower only; Bedroom 2-gulf view master bedroom with king bed, TV, large walk-in closet and full bath with double vanities and shower only.

Even though we had a good view from our balcony, the road noise was very loud. We were told if we arrived early we could use the restroom by the pool to change and use the pool or go to the beach while we waited to get in our unit. There is no outside bathroom. A restroom would also be convenient when using the pool. Also the pool area doesn’t have any umbrellas or tables that you could use your own umbrella. Absolutely no shade.

This place is an hidden gem!!!Our family absolutely loved our time here. The unit is a good size, beds were nicely made & comfortable. Our kids enjoyed the bunk room. ** the bunk beds are placed right next to the window. At night the top floor hallway light shines directly in the window and it is bright!**The master was clean, cozy bed & has a GIANT closet BUT there isn’t a door for the bathroom… it might be beneficial to add in the description on VRBO so it’s not a surprise like it was for us ). The boardwalk access to beach is directly across the street, the area is clean & quiet (this could change as there is a LARGE restaurant/bar/oyster bar/gift shop close to opening across the street from the building) the view of the ocean is perfect! The beach wasn’t heavily populated, lots of folks fishing on the beach & no lifeguards ( just to keep in mind) A few takeaways from our experience here: bring your own trash bags•toilet paper•paper towels•dishwashing detergent•laundry detergent•beach towels•beach umbrella etc. **Stop for groceries before you arrive in Mexico Beach** Piggly-Wiggly in Port St.Joe is your nearest option once you have arrived & it’s very overpriced with little to choose from. Honestly, we had a wonderful experience here and we look forward to coming back again.

We appreciate the note about the bunk beds being next to the window and the hallway light shining in; we’ll look into a light-blocking solution and will add that detail to the listing. Thanks also for pointing out the master bathroom has no door — we’ll update the listing so future guests aren’t surprised. Great callouts about boardwalk access, the quiet area, the ocean view, the nearby restaurant opening, and the lack of lifeguards. Your tips about bringing extra supplies are helpful; we’ll clarify what is provided in the listing and suggest guests bring items like trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, detergents, beach towels, and an umbrella. Check in was fast and easy. Kitchen was stocked with everything you needed. Bed slept wonderfully. Showers were very nice. The condo was beautifully decorated and very clean.

Short weekend getaway

This property exceeded our expectations!! It was perfect. Clean, great location, great views and spacious. We will definitely rent again. Just right for our 4 for a sort weekend getaway.

We loved this place!

My daughter and I booked this place somewhat last minute for her spring break. It was in a great location, convenient to local restaurants and entertainment. It was clean, very private and quiet. The condo itself far surpassed our expectations and had every "extra" you could imagine. Just a quick drive to St. George Island, Apalachicola and Port St. Joe! We would stay here again and again!

Great summer getaway

We loved our time at Mexico Beach and the stay in Beach Destiny. The property has an amazing view of the gulf, just a few steps away. The condo had plenty of room for our family of 4 and was very clean. This was our first time in Mexico Beach, but this may have become our new favorite place. It is quiet and relaxed. No high-rise buildings blocking the views and no crowded beaches. All in all we loved the property and the location, and hope to return again.

Spring break 2023

Property was wonderful, however the pool was not in service and was not listed as out of order on the app/website. I would have chosen another property with a working pool had I been aware of this. Other than that issue the stay was great. Quick beach access and nice beaches.

Wonderful stay

I loved this place. It was roomy, clean, comfortable, beautiful decorated and had an unbelievably, amazing view. The pool wasn’t ready for the season, but that didn’t bother us being right across the street from the beach. It’s a quiet beach town with not a lot to do. But that was ok with us. Bigger cities were within an hour’s drive. The steps weren’t too bad and we could tell they got easier day after day. We enjoyed it so much my husband joked that we should leave a bad review so it doesn’t start becoming overly popular and difficult to rent in the future. Haha.

Unobstructed ocean view

Great place to stay with a beautiful, unobstructed view of the ocean. There's a beach access directly across from the building. The unit was clean and included everything we needed for our stay, including some extras in the closet - 4 beach chairs and a cooler on wheels. They provided some basic hotel type toiletries, dish soap, and enough soap for 1 load of laundry and 1 round of the dishwasher. We stayed for 9 days so we had to buy some extra toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, laundry detergent, and hand soap. The pool was great for when our 6 year old needed a break from the ocean. We were on the 3rd floor, and you do hear quite a bit of road noise during the busier times of the day. It was pretty quiet later in the evenings sitting outside. There was a water spicket directly outside our door and a spicket/shower with a hose by the pool to help keep the sand outside. Definitely check out Maritime Expeditions of the Forgotten Coast for scuba, snorkeling, and any water expedition. Alex is phenomenal, definitely 10/10, cannot recommend him enough! We also highly recommend TK Hibachi, delicious, fresh, and generous portions. There's lots of food trucks that we didn't get to try that I'm sure are delicious. Hunts on Port St. Joe, about 20 minutes away, is a great place to dine on the water. Beach Destiny was a great place to stay!

Beach Destiny

We enjoyed our stay in Mexico Beach. The condo is beautifully done and very comfortable. The porch view is awesome and it was so relaxing to sit out and listen to the waves. The complex is literally across the street from a public beach access point. It is a third floor walk up, but we knew in advance, and it was fine. There were four beach chairs in the condo for use, which was handy. Mexico Beach is a quiet beach community and is slowly recovering from a catastrophic hurricane. We enjoyed many of the activities that are available and we loved the beach and we liked that there was a pool available. The water at Mexico Beach is not the emerald water of PCB and Destin (we did drive over to PCB twice), but it was clear most days and it is a nice beach experience.

The only 2 bad things

Lights that were on in the back where the stairs are are lit up so bright that our kids couldn't sleep in their room. Also we had one neighbor that was quite rude by talking about our kids because they were being loud. My son has a touch of autism and sometimes he can't help not being loud. Other than that it was great.

Beautiful condo but has a few negatives

We recently stayed here and it is a beautiful condo for sure however I feel it should be noted there is a lot of road traffic noise as it is literally only 100 feet from US 98. Hot water could be a little hotter in Master shower. Beds were comfortable, plenty of seating for eating. Kitchen is amazing! Would have liked a small bottle of dish soap. It was nice to have a washer/dryer combo in unit. Tons of storage throughout condo.

If you are over 50 with health issued you would not like this place

We stay on 3rd floor and the only way to get upstairs just walking up the stairs. Especially if you have so much stuffs to carried and the only concern. Place very quite and less traffic.

Beautiful condo

It is a beautiful condo and has everything you could need. The balcony views are amazing! I wish they had at least one extra blanket and the 2nd bedroom just has bunkbeds which really only work for kids. The killer for us was that it's on the 3rd floor and no elevator so bringing all your stuff in was really hard.
