Just 300m to the beach with a fabulous outlook overlooking Seaforth Reserve, the price quoted is for a * 5 bdrm large family holiday home, offering the perfect escape at Bowentown, Waihi Beach. An extra * 2 bdrms in the upstairs unit are available for another $160p/n which make it a * 7 bdrm holiday house which can sleep up to 20 people!! Spacious and sunny with a huge wrap around entertainment deck, loads of room for extended family with children, pets and extras, the Waihi Beach Hive awaits!!
Please note...*from December 20 to January 31, we have a flat rate of $800 p/n for up to 20 people, plus a cleaning fee of $195. Homeaway put their commission on top of this. The downstairs 5 bedroom house can sleep up to 16, and the upstairs 2 bedroom self contained unit sleeps another 4 people!

The space:
Light and airy, casual and relaxed, The Waihi Beach Hive has a bright and spacious open plan living area downstairs that easily flows to large outdoor decks with a dining table and chairs, comfy cane lounge suite. and assorted outdoor furniture. Fire up the BBQ and dine Al fresco with your group, while taking in the view over Seaforth Reserve next door. The epic deck, is fully lit at night, with plenty of throws to snuggle down, chill and relax. Tastefully decorated, this is still a no-fuss kiwi bach. In addition to the two family bathrooms downstairs, there are two separate toilets and another bathroom/toilet upstairs in the studio. Pet friendly and fully fenced for fun family times.
Upstairs, the fully self contained 2bdrm studio sleeps 4. The studio has bi fold doors opening out onto a peaceful upstairs balcony, overlooking the pohutukawas and tuis. If you choose not to take the studio, you will still have the beach hive completely to yourselves!


Guest access:
The 5 bdrm house (downstairs) is accessed by a lock box and sleeps up to 16 people. It has a full kitchen, dishwasher, fridge/freezer x 2, dishwasher, highchair, microwave, washing machine, dryer, Smart T. Vs in lounge ( and upstairs studio, should you require it) Extra TV and DVD player in playroom. Free WIFI & Netflix. Heaters and fans availabe for extra comfort. Outdoor area has a dining table and chairs, relaxing cane lounge suite and more outdoor furniture plus a big BBQ with a gas bottle. Please feel free to fully utilise everything downstairs (apart from a few locked cupboards) and make yourselves at home!


OTHER THINGS TO NOTE -

THE ADDITIONAL STUDIO UPSTAIRS: is only available to use if you have booked it as an extra. Fully self contained with 2 bdrms. All day sun, large french doors open out onto its own balcony. Dining suite, Lounge suite, TV, kitchenette with portable cooktop, microwave, benchtop oven, dish drawer and fridge. Studio can be accessed from inside and outside with a key. Outdoor table/chairs. Queen bed in main bedroom, 2 x singles in bdrm 2.. An additional charge of $160 per night when booking studio with the house makes the 'Beach Hive' 7 bedroom accommodation. Please let me know if you need the studio - homeaway doesn't currently support the additional space fee. The studio is only available should you require the extra rooms when booking the main house and is never rented out or used by our family at the same time.

Under kiwi bach tradition you are expected to bring your own sheets, pillowslips and towels and sleeping bags. The beds all have mattress protectors, pillows, duvets and their covers. Extra blankets are readily available in the wardrobes.

PETS: are welcome by arrangement and only small dogs or cats are to be allowed inside. The charge for pets is $10 per day per dog or cat applies and will be added after you confirm. The property is fully fenced and pet bowls are provided for your pets comfort. Animals are the pet owners responsiblity. Let me know how many dogs that you want to bring and please remove your dogs deposits so that the yard is clean and tidy for the next family.

The ' Beach Hive' is truly aimed at family and friends having a fantastic time together. Please be respectful of your neighbours and keep noise to a minimum after 10pm.
