Newly Renovated, Private Studio - 10 minutes to the Beach/Downtown

Thanks Sage for the great review! You guys are welcome anytime!

I'm so glad you had a wonderful stay! It was so nice talking to you about your travels to all of the national parks and what your future plans are. Good luck in your upcoming endeavors, and come back anytime! Christine

Hi Stephanie, Wow, it seems so uncanny to me that you would leave such a poor review of my property given our remarkable conversations back and forth and stating how grateful you were to be staying in such a lovely place! I strive to make the absolute best experience for my guests. The room is exactly 220 SF as I describe in my listing, so I don't know why that was such a surprise to you. And the neighborhood is not at all sketchy as you wrote. It's a wonderful neighborhood full of diverse people of all nationalities and has an abundance of wild animals that are so mesmerizing. Nevertheless, I'm sorry that you had a less than average experience. Good luck in your future travels!

Thanks, Corrine, for giving me such a great review! I tried to think of all the little things when I set the place up 3 years ago, and I'm still picking up tips as I go along. So happy that you enjoyed your stay. Come back anytime! Christine

Thank you, Samuel, for the kind review. I try to make everything as relaxing and comfortable as possible. As for the A/C, it can stay on all night if you have it on the right setting. I do apologize for the inconvenience. Thanks for staying!

Hi Dawn, thanks for the kind, yet a tad bit passive-aggressive review, but no worries, that's the message I got from you when I met you in my driveway. If you had issues connecting with the Wi-Fi, it's really simple to ask me to reset the modem and/or contact Comcast to see if there is an issue in the area, but I never heard from you regarding the outage. Furthermore, I state in my property's bio that the room is 220 SF, which includes the bathroom and the closet. I'm happy the size worked for you, but I appreciate you giving your opinion as to what others may find satisfactory. What I did not appreciate is you throwing all your food & drink trash in the outside garbage can labeled "Yard Waste Only", meaning grass, leaves, and tree clippings. Oh, the trash guys gave me a lashing for that! Lastly, I always happily offer extra towels and linens to anyone staying over 4+ days, so you don't have to bring your own towels. But thanks for the great review!

Thanks for the great review! Yes, the peacocks are everywhere and are very curious. And by arcade, I am assuming you mean Glitch, which is an awesome, old-school bar with the best classic arcade games. Love that place! Glad you had a great stay - Come back anytime! Christine

For some guests, there is absolutely no pleasing them, No matter what you do, they will complain down to the tiniest piece of lint on a towel. Nancy was one of those guests. Complained about everything, even before ever arriving at the property and also that which was out of my control. And, ironically, ended up stealing that bath towel. And complained about having to bring it back after I reported it to Booking.

Tracy, You said there was a foul smell? That's a very broad statement. Can you describe the smell? No one has ever complained about a foul smell before. Also, if you leave a bunch of sugary doughnuts on the table overnight, it doesn't matter if you're in Florida or Alaska or Timbuktoo, you're going to have ants all over them! Maybe not leave food out overnight and this wouldn't be a problem. SMH. It's reviews like these that just make me chuckle. Good luck in your future endeavors.

Thanks for the great review!! I'm so happy you two had a great stay. Come back anytime! Christine

Thanks, Paula, for the great review! Yes, the room is small, but I try to provide all the little necessities that everyone wants and needs in a short stay. And there is comfortable and relaxing outdoor space to have your morning coffee or nightly glass of wine. Come back anytime! Christine
