Lighthouse Condominium unit 1204 is a spacious 3 bedroom/3 bath condo.This tastefully decorated unit is centrally located in the heart of Gulf Shores and is direct beach front with gorgeous views that never stop. It is equipped with a king bed in master, a queen bed in second room, a bunk bed with a queen bottom bed and twin bed on top (great for children), and a sleeper sofa! It is in walking distance to restaurants, bike rentals, Hangout festival, and Shrimp Festival.

*Important Parking Information: Please note that parking is not included with this rental. Parking is controlled by the condominium’s HOA and is subject to a separate fee, payable directly to them. These parking fees are not part of the rental cost.*

* Due to the Covid-19 crisis, all comforters have been removed from beds. We have replaced with a quilt that is washed with each stay. If you prefer heavier bedding, you may want to bring extra bedding. We want to do our best to offer a clean bed for your stay.

Final payment is due 30 days prior to arrival and may be paid by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or certified funds (cashier’s check, money order, or certified check). For stays under 14 days, the remaining balance will be automatically charged to the card on file.

Stays of 14 days or longer (including winter stays) must be paid in full 90 days prior to arrival. Payment by check is required to avoid a 3% credit/debit card processing fee. A 3% fee will apply to long-term stays paid by card.

Wonderful beach view, we saw dolphins jumping every single morning of our stay. The property was beautiful and well maintained, staff at the desk and security were so helpful and kind. This location surpassed our expectations. I can’t praise it enough!

The condo was so spacious! We loved how every room had a full bathroom connected to it! Lots of pots, pans, and dishes available! It was perfect for our family!

The location was perfect for us! Loved the two pools and the indoor pool. The only thing I would recommend is we could have used more pillows(we had 8 people in condo) and the master bath needs a facelift. Lots of storage but the master shower was TINY!! Well stocked as well! Thanks for a great stay!

Family vacation

It was the perfect room for our family getaway. We had plenty of room and the condo was very clean and we really enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend staying here and definitely look forward to staying here again next year!

Girls trip

We are all nurses and had a last minute change in our work schedule and decided to do a girls trip. We booked our condo without any problems. The process is quick and easy. The condo was beautiful and in a perfect area, right on the beach and you could walk to shop and eat. I would definitely recommend this place!

first trip to Gulf Shores

we enjoyed our stay very much. never got to use the hot tubs, the jacuzzi on them were never on and we did not find a place to activate it. this was a miss for us since we look for this feature when booking a location, and the 3rd bedroom (bunk room) needs to have a TV in it, that was missed as well, the condo was very enjoyable and we would consider returning to the Lighthouse in the future.

The condo was clean and well-appointed with cooking, serving, and eating accoutrements. The beds were suitable, and the living room and dining room furnishings were comfortable. The large appliances all worked, but we felt they all needed service, especially the stove.

Well the king size bedroom was cold while the other two bedrooms were not. We had roaches outside on our balcony. Looks to have some mold in the room with the queen bed. We have stayed at the lighthouse every time we come down since 2011. The property is going down. There was a big rat by the walkway going to the beach by the pool where the snow cone stand is parked. Other than that we had a great time.

Needs TLC

Great location and awesome pools for kids and adults. Unfortunately, this condo needs some maintenance and TLC and a deep clean. Sink in master bathroom is very stained and rusted, closet in guest room is missing doors, ceilings show leak damage and mold, appliances are worn and very dirty, balcony is infested with large palmetto roaches. Since this condo is on the 12th floor the whole building may be infested. Master bedroom is next to the elevator shaft. I would not recommend.

Good location

Location is great! We were disappointed for what we paid. The pictures do not do justice to the condo. While well stocked, the sinks and appliances have rust and/or discoloration. For example, toaster is rusted, coffee maker doesn’t work properly, ceiling fan in a bedroom doesn’t work. The vents have, I presume, mildew staining them and the ceiling above them. This place can be great if given some attention. We wouldn’t stay in this condo again. Spend your money somewhere else.

Love The Lighthouse, but not this unit.

We've been staying at this condo for the past 4 years with our two kids, and multiple vacations each year. Yes, the prices aren't cheap BUT are affordable, and it literally is our favorite condo for countless reasons. That being said, this was our FIRST experience at this condo where I didn't feel like I got what I paid for. The housekeeping job was subpar, and the appliances looked like they were bought second hand from a swap meat furniture store. Our microwave didn't even have a handle...the entire handle was broken off and missing so that you had to grab a small jagged stub remaining to open it. The jets didn't work in the whirlpool, the ice maker at the bar didn't work AT ALL, the regular freezer ice maker was dysfunctionall, a broken area on the sink spout, rust on the stove and refrigerator AND there was rust in two sinks, mildew on the ceiling in the 2nd bedroom and was chipping...shall I go on?? Trust me, the money you pay can get you a better rental probably on any other floor if you're dead set on this layout or this condo. Get a different unit!!

Bugs in condo/Broken items

Check in process is not very convenient. You have to check in at the realty place. When we arrived noticed on the balcony that the rocking chairs were broken and looked to be that way for a while, with small kids this was a hazard. The property was not maintain very well with a number of lights out, broken toilet handle, coffee pot, and leaking washing machine. And the best one of all a number of roaches we spotted in the condo. Called (no answer) and sent email to managment Friday with no reply. Still no reply over the weekend. I had to contacted Monday morning and spoke to a gentleman over the phone explained what we found, not concerned in the least bit. Said it was a minor inconvenience and that they couldn't do anything about it. It's not a major issue, which he explained would only be an AC out. He couldn't have done anything anyway since it was the weekend. Poor to no maintenance, no emergency number to contact management, poor response time and bugs!!! They did give me 100$ coupon off my next visit. Dont waste your time.

Would not stay again

We have come to GS’s many times, this was our first time in The Lighthouse building. The building itself was great: fast elevators, plenty of parking, carts to load and unload luggage, easy beach access, multiple pools and hot tubs. The condo we stayed in was terrible. The first thing we noticed when we came in was the whole place smelled like old corn chips. It was terrible so we had to go to the store and buy air fresheners. Next, the master bedroom had black mold on the ceiling and wall coming from the air vent. The pipe for the shower head in the master bath was so loose you thought it was going to break when trying to adjust the shower head. The living room furniture is absolutely filthy and uncomfortable. There are stains on every inch of it and it all looks about 20 years old. Cushions are flat and uncomfortable to sit on. The paint is peeling off the kitchen cabinets in places. There is no dresser in the second bedroom so no place to unpack your clothes other than a closet with no hangers. It is so humid in the whole condo that bath towels don’t dry and the tile floor feels like it’s always sweating. We were running the air trying to pull out some of the moisture and it didn’t help at all. The only reason we gave it 2 stars and not 0 is because of the building itself. Its right on the beach, walking distance to many restaurants and the building is nice. We do not recommend this particular unit and we will never stay there again. 0/10 for this unit!! Look elsewhere.

We always stay at Lighthouse but.....disappointed this time .

We always try to stay at the lighthouse but our condo was booked so we stayed in a different one this time. I want to say I didn't call and ask for assistance so they didn't have a chance to "fix" my complaints but this is stuff that should have attention without a review. First when we got there my daughter went and bought a mop to mop our floors. Yes 2 hours after we checked in the floors were so dirty. I have pictures of our feet and the mop water. We also found a airline ticket that was in the bedroom floor from another guest so that lets you know the floors were not cleaned. The sheets will not stay on the beds, the jets in the bathtub will only work if you hold your finger on the button. I went and bought skillets for breakfast. The cookware with the non stick coating was flaking off. The thermostat didn't control the air. It ran non stop or you had to click it to off. That was your choices. The Icemaker didn't work and there was a sign on it that said it was broke. Why don't they fix it ? They charge a hefty cleaning fee, they need to find someone to CLEAN the condo. This other stuff I know has been brought to their attention and they don't care to fix it. Buy new sheets, fix the jets, buy cookware. I will not rent this condo again. I paid too much for it. Also once you start your vacation you don't want to deal with things that should work properly anyway. Disappointed with our condo.

Amazing Week!!

We have stayed at the Lighthouse several times and love everything about it. We have never had a bad experience and you could not ask for a more perfect location. The room we stayed in this time needed to be cleaned a little better. The air vents were very dirty and needed to be cleaned. Also the jacuzzi tub did not work and I don’t think it had been cleaned either. Other than that a perfect week and the weather was great also.

Great time - issue in condo though

Although the condo was clean, and we enjoy our stay greatly. There were a few things wrong with the appliances in the condo - The bar mini fridge was broken and the lightbulb in the refrigerator was out. Other than these tiny inconveniences the stayw as great and the condo was gorgeous :)

Great place & great location.

Only complaints my family of 8 had were: 1) the amount of sand that was left on the floors when we arrived and the lack of rugs by beds to wipe off feet before getting into bed (because of the sand on floor) 2) not enough towels & only 1 kitchen towel. 3) Ice Machine in condo was broken, we REALLY could’ve used it! Would’ve been a big plus. Other than that we had a great stay. The view was amazing. Balcony seating was great, we love the blue rocking chairs. The access to beach was perfect. Clean off station from beach worked great. Workout room isn’t great but not a deal breaker, my high school/college boys made due. Check in & out process was super easy. Covered parking is a plus. The location was great. In walking distance of everything. Small grocery mart across the street. Wal-Mart 8 minutes away. We really enjoyed the Hangout, great family place.

Beautiful pools

Living Rm furniture old, uncomfortable and dirty. Bunk beds uncomfortable and absolutely could not sleep on sofa bed. Very disappointed after paying top dollar for this property.
