Shoal Bay unit with uninterrupted views of the bay

Booking is restricted to individuals aged 25 and above, and the property enforces a stringent no-party policy.

The Location - You will be amazed at the beauty and outlook of this idyllic unit located opposite Shoal Bay Beach. Feel the sand between your feet as you hit the beach and relax or grab a stand up paddle board or kayak for hire at your door step. Walk to shops, bars and restaurants or grab a bottle from a few doors down and relax and watch the world go by on the bay from the comfort of your balcony. The views do not get any better than this.

With over 140 bottlenose dolphins calling Port Stephens home, you can watch out from the convenience of your balcony for their antics. From May to November, the waters off Port Stephens play host to the magnificent migrating humpback whales so take a hike up Tomaree Headland about 250 meters away for a sighting.

On your bike - Shoal Bay is a great place to explore by bike! From rugged mountain biking along coastal tracks to family friendly cycle paths. Bring your own, join an organised tour or hire a bike once here.

Play a round - With four championship golf courses, a driving range and mini golf all the drivers, hookers and swingers won’t need to travel a fairway to enjoy a round in a beautiful setting.

The Unit - Neatly presented two bedroom 1st floor unit with front facing balcony. Sit back and enjoy the view from the outdoor setting, a perfect view point, sunrise to sunset. Features include an open plan living room with ceiling fan, a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, and internal laundry facilities.

Please note - Linen is provided except for beach towels. The beds will be made ready for your arrival.
- Garage is available upon request for storage only. 1 x car parking spot provided.

Shoal Bay

Great location and across the road from beach with beautiful views. Quite area which is great with club restaurants and shops within walking distance. One of my favorite places to stay in Nelsons Bay

Unclean

Walked in and the property had a foul smell in it. Wasn’t cleaned at all, sink had spaghetti bowl in it. Toilet seat was gross and also there were used tissues left on the bed side which was gross during a time of corona. Didn’t look like it had been cleaned since the last people were in there.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit is in a fantastic spot. Amazing views and only a short stroll to the group of shops up the street. It was a little dated but perfect for a couple of nights. I was up both mornings at 6am and walked over the street to sit on the beach and take in the peaceful sounds. Loved it. The price was OK for what you get, I did feel that $95 on top for linen was a bit too much though. But all in all it was a lovely couple of relaxing days.

Excellent location but could be cleaner

The location was great as was the property, but it could be cleaner for what we paid, shower head and toilet seat need urgent replacement. Shower head was ridiculous could not have a decent shower and the toilet seat is broken and in very bad shape. Kitchen not well stocked.

1. Only one drinking glass provided 2. No Wifi 3. Neighbors smoking in balcony next door entering our premises 4. Couch old and sticky 5. Although posters around unit somewhat helpful, could be contained in guide and less passive aggressive with threats of additional fees for minor issues. 6. For a more pleasant and comforting stay, linen should be provided. This is consistent amongst all accommodation stays and appeared to be a way of profit, as opposed to making the stay enjoyable. The cost of the stay was more than enough to cover a few basic sheets and towels.

Dirty!

Location was good however place was dirty, needs a good clean and new carpet. There was food in kitchen drawers, blankets provided were dirty, had stains on them. Mirrors weren’t cleaned. There was only one bin liner provided for the kitchen bin and that was in the bin, so no extra liners. The hot water pressure was low when showering. Also this place needs a toilet seat, plastic peeling off. Wouldn’t recommend.
