The lake house was easy to get to and convenient to local restaurants and grocery stores. The property was well maintained, the house was clean, and the beds were SUPER comfortable! The owner was quick to resolve a minor maintenance issue and was easy to communicate with. We visited in the winter, so we weren't able to enjoy all the lake had to offer, but the location couldn't be beat!

Great spot for our annual family fishing trip. Spectacular view in a quiet bay area of the lake. We enjoyed fishing early morning and late evening, swimming near the close sand bar, and tubing during the day. Loved having access to the garage to store our boat trailer and extra stuff! Would recommend and stay again when coming back to the area!

We loved this cabin on the lake! In the neighborhood, there were excellent hiking trails--we just went out the front door for a walk in the woods! The house was roomy, comfortable, well-stocked--lots of dishes, glassware, kitchen utensils. It was perfect--would recommend to anyone.

Wisconsin Lake Getaway

Wonderful location. Has a nice sandy bottom off the dock for swimming. Loved the cabin. Listing is very accurate and owners are very responsive. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay

Had a great time! The host was very nice and responsive. Really liked location, being on the smaller part of the lake was perfect. Less wind less boating traffic. The inside of the house was very clean.

Ideal Family Gathering Place

My brother’s family and my family stayed here for the occasion of my mother’s funeral in a nearby town. Ashley was way beyond a super host. The location of house is ideal with a beautiful lake to enjoy and trails to walk just outside the door.The beds were super comfy and the place had everything we needed to relax over a fun BBQ with relatives.

Nice Wisconsin Getaway

We enjoyed this cabin as a final getawy before school starts. The location was in a fun area - there is plenty to explore and do. The cabin had a nice large deck, and we fished off the dock. We saw a lot of nature and enjoyed the lake - exactly what we were hoping to do! The kids enjoyed the kids room as well!

Family fun lakefront getaway

Our family had the best summer vacation on the lake here! It's conveniently located within a short drive to a few bars/restaurants and a grocery store. We stayed for a week and there was no shortage of fun- we enjoyed the lillypad, paddle board, board games and fire pit all included with the rental. There are several steps to and from the lake, but the beautiful view overlooking the lake from the patio is worth it!

We had a lovely time!

The cabin was perfect for our stay! Well-decorated with a nice kitchen and two rooms with very comfortable king beds. The bunk room was great for sleeping 4 people! The neighborhood was quiet. We enjoyed hanging out on the back deck and down on the pier. The informational binder had everything we could have needed in it. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Excellent Lake Wissota Summer Stay

This lake house is perfectly situated on a quiet cove on Lake Wissota. With two grills, a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and plenty of space out front and out back, we had EVERYTHING! The owners provided lawn games, a lily pad, chairs, life jackets, floats, tons of games. Not to mention the property was very clean, and the view, the breeze, the firepit - amazing! We'll be back for sure!

Wonderful Lakeside Retreat

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this property. We had an infant under 2 and a 6 and 9 year old. The home had a high chair and pack 'n play and SUP and floaties for the lake. We grilled and enjoyed a scenic dinner on the wide deck. The owner was incredibly responsive and helpful.

Wissota Week

Our family enjoyed the stay on Lake Wissota during the week. The lake tends to be pretty quiet and open to enjoy most days and the weather was great. Joe has made some nice updates to the lake home to make it feel comfortable and clean. There are numerous activities to take advantage of by Chippewa Falls, so that is an added bonus. Our family enjoyed the Northern Wisconsin State Fair and eating out nearby.

Great place for a Getaway

We loved this house. The house itself is laid out well for a group, tastefully decorated and extremely well stocked. We were in the area for a girls weekend and really enjoyed being able to all comfortably sit around the big dining room table for a meal or around the large table out on the deck where we loved the beautiful lake view. Joe the owner is extremely responsive and helpful. It’s a quick and easy ride into town if you need supplies. I’d highly recommend this lovely lake house.

Pine Harbor

We enjoyed our stay at the property and Joe is a great communicator. There are some minor maintenance issues. A garage is listed in the amenities, but was not made available to us. Several other amenities are listed, but were not there (Kayak/Canoe for example). The items listed are available to rent from nearby businesses.

Quiet Cabin on the Lake

We stayed here with 3 adults and 3 kids while visiting family in nearby Eau Claire. The house was great, and had everything we needed. We grilled out on the deck, and hung out by the lake. The layout of the house is a little unusual, but the bed's were comfortable, everything was clean, and it had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The paddle boards and toys in the boat house were great, and we had a lot of fun on the water. One note that's not completely clear in the pictures is that the dock is down a pretty long stair case from the house. Something to keep in mind for anyone that might have mobility issues. Communication with the owner was great, and he helped us get everything sorted. We had a great time and would stay here again.

Family getaway

We enjoyed a nice, fall family getaway at this property. The location of the home on Lake Wissota is beautiful. Amazing views of the lake and a fabulous dock to fish from or sit and enjoy the beautiful bay the home is located on. The location of the home is quiet and peaceful. There is a great deck looking out at the lake and a big fire pit we enjoyed with smores. We enjoyed lawn games in the large front yard. There was plenty of sleeping room for 5 people. We would have preferred more blankets for the beds and better lighting in the bedrooms, rather than just overhead lighting. The home was nice and clean, and detailed instructions were left for us. Joe was great to work with. We had a very nice and relaxing time at this home and we’d recommend this home for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway on Lake Wissota.

Great water access and deck

My family really enjoyed and took full advantage of both the water facing deck and access to the lake. We rented a pontoon and parked it at the dock overnight. The house came with a Lilly pad for the kids to play on in the water. The house also has a large garage and driveway area for kids to ride bikes and play. The neighborhood is very nice for walking with friendly neighbors. We even scored a bike and two scooters from a yard sale next door. The house comes with a Blackstone grill on the deck which we used every night for cooking dinner. Made family cookouts really fun and allowed us to make a lot of food at once on the massive cook top. Our only complaint would be the HVAC system cooling unevenly throughout the house. The living room and kitchen were nice and cool, but the bed rooms would get hot during the night. There are overhead fans in each room which helps. The bedding was a little too hot as well. Overall it was a great vacation home for our family and we will be back!

Family fun on Lake Wissota

My family enjoyed this house very much. It had everything my family, including two toddlers, needed. We especially appreciated the high chair and Pack N Play.

Cozy Cabin on the Lake

We loved the fact that the owner had everything well labelled and organized. They allowed access to the boat house for flotation items and paddleboards, the cabin was very clean and welcoming.
