This stylish cottage is only a few minutes to the pet friendly Bagnall Beach, bowling club, Golf Club and surrounding tourist attractions.  Also only a few minutes walk into the heart of Nelson Bay where you will find cafes, restaurants and boutique shopping or enjoy a leisurely walk along the beach, sunset over the water, a relaxing swim or watch the kids play on the playground.

With water views, ducted air conditioning, Wi-Fi and functional living areas. Mon Reve is a relaxing holiday destination for couples, friends and families and your furry friend.

This property does not include sheets or towels, please bring your own or contact us to organise the linen hire service. The linen service is priced depending on your length of stay.

Linen Packs consists of 2 flat sheets, pillowcases, bath towels, bathmats, hand towels and tea towels (BYO beach towels). The property provides pillows, blankets, and quilts.

Property Notes:

Pets are welcome at this property. Small Dogs Only permitted. Please make sure pets are not left alone at the property if they have separation anxiety or if you think they will be unsettled. Pets are not permitted on any furniture inside the property.

This property does have Wi-fi.

Obligations to neighbours – Section 2.5.2 of the Code of Conduct

A guest must not at any time during the occupancy period:-

(a) create noise that because of its level, nature, character, or quality, or the time it is made, is likely to harm, offend, or unreasonably disrupt or interfere with the peace and comfort of neighbours and other occupants of the premises

(b) act in a violent or threatening manner towards neighbours or other occupants of the premises

(c) act in a manner that could reasonably be expected to cause alarm or distress to neighbours and other occupants of the premises

(d) use or enjoy the premises in a manner, or for a purpose, that interferes unreasonably with the use or enjoyment of common property by neighbours and other occupants of the premises in a strata or community scheme

(e) intentionally, recklessly or negligently cause damage to premises, any common property or any other communal facilities within the immediate vicinity of the premises, or any public property in the vicinity of the premises

(f) intentionally, recklessly or negligently damage the personal property of neighbours of the premises or other occupants of a strata or community scheme.

This property is approved for holiday accommodation only, no extra bedding mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed.

After hour emergency service is available 24/7 during your stay.

If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property immediately with no refund of monies.

facilities and costs

One toilet roll for 2 "bathrooms says it all" Constant discrepancies about pet friendly Fees required for facilities provided were excessive (very) Backyard and barbecue area quite untidy. Horrible. Would never stay there again or go back to properties controlled by that estate agent.

Nice views and a central location. I would stay there again but not with my dogs as there isn't any shelter for them. Really tidy, nice layout and bright.

Perfect spot.

Handy location and well equipped for our stay with 4 adults plus dog. Front balcony lapped up the sun. Shame the back courtyard hadn’t been prepared for visitors. Overgrown. Debris over pavers and table/chair setting was dirty and still stacked. Would be lovely out there though. Top spot otherwise, thank you

Mon Reve, 4A Tallean Road, Nelson Bay

Property was exactly suitable for our requirement, and plus some. Residence was nicely outfitted, with provision of appropriate cooking, dining and bedroom requirements. The living areas were amenable to staying in in the evening if required, relaxing on the terrace was a must. I would seek this accommodation again.

Cozy, clean and near the Nelson Bay centre.

A good size house only 2 minutes drive from the centre of the city. 10 minutes to walk there. Pretty clean and also a little bit of water view from the balcony. One thing we think have to be fixed is the carpet in the bedrooms. I would definitely recommend this place .

Mon Reve Nelson Bay

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. It was in a great location, a short walk to the centre of town and not too far from the Marina. The 3 bedrooms were comfortable and it was nice to have two bathrooms to accomodate the whole family. The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge room looked out to the bay.The backyard was great for our dog. We look forward to staying at Mon Reve again!

Open space, clean and convenient location!

This house was so spacious, rooms were big with beautiful window to look out of, balcony was big with a great view! Very clean and easy to walk to the Marina! Would definetely come back again!

Great property!

This is a lovely place. Has a nice balcony to relax on at the end of the day's fishing, shopping and nearby beach with Kookaburra and tropical birds galore.. Close to everything. Walking distance to Nelson Bay Marina. Plenty of Cafe's, restaurants. Bus to Salamander. Golf Club, Bowling Club next door. No noise can be heard. Word of warning....wingey neighbour who doesn't like dogs.

Great place

We spent time with our new born and parents for a week and had a great time. You have more than everything you need in this house! Location is also good and quiet. Although not in town, it is only 7 minutes away from the marina which is a great way to exercise a bit :) And the agency kept is simple and efficient so really good and highly recommend this place

A Home from Home

This was a great place for our holiday, spacious, tidy, well appointed with all amenities. The beds were comfy with excellent mattresses, the pillows were plump, the bathrooms were spacious, the kitchen was well stocked with crockery and cutlery, the dining room and lounge were comfortable with plenty of seating options (all problems we've faced elsewhere)...we really had nothing to whinge about. A couple of maintenance problems which we reported and can be easily resolved, but every place has them. If there is one negative, it was that I wish the beds were moved periodically and the carpets vacuumed behind them, as the asthmatics in the family did find them to be quite dusty. All up, great value and one of the best stays we've had in a holiday home. We were quite sad to leave!

We have stayed at this house many many times and hope to many many more. There were a few minor issues when we arrived thanks to previous guests not reporting things, but everything was sorted very quickly, cheerfully and efficiently by the agent. Top spot - top marks!

Magnificent property

We really enjoyed our stay in this house. The house has beautiful view . The house contains great, clean and neat furniture. The house position is in a great location; as it was closed to shopping, beaches and other bays. Neighbors were great and helpful. We stayed from December 30-12-2015 to 3-January-2016. We had a great New year in there.The O'Meara property makes your stay and holiday enjoyable and fun. Thanks for great deals Big Thank Junaina
