Welcome to The Cliff's Edge, a beautifully presented 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home right on the edge of the cliff at Fairhaven. Overlooking the long stretch of beach and coastline from Aireys Inlet to Lorne, the views are spectacular. A special house for a special occasion - suitable for families or couples. (Maximum 6 adults) Linen provided

Expansive outdoor decking with uninterrupted 180 degree ocean and beach views, outdoor furniture, and Bbq. Beautiful landscaped gardens with rockeries surround the house - Large open plan living, dining, kitchen area with views. WiFi, Tv, Dvd CD player - Dining for 8 people - Fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances including dishwasher and microwave - Did we mention the views!

Master bedroom with Queen size bed. En-suite with corner spa and ocean views! Second bedroom also with Queen size bed and ensuite with double shower. Third bedroom has 2x King single bunks. Main bathroom with shower, wc and vanity.

Linen Provided

Forced move in days may apply over peak times.

Just a few general words about the property.

It is important to understand this property is a holiday rental, not a shared space or principle place of residence, which ensures you privacy and quiet enjoyment. It is also professionally managed, giving you peace of mind of 24 /7 support by a local, just around the corner.

Pricing is based around seasons, length of stay and number of guests. It is important all bookings reflect the exact number of guests. If this changes, you must contact us. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the published rates across all booking platforms, however Great Ocean Road Real Estate Holidays reserves the right to correct pricing errors.

Unless otherwise previously agreed, all stays must only be used for private residential usage and to accommodate the number of guests stated on your booking. Unless ‘Pets Welcome’ is advertised, the property is strictly no pets.

All holiday accommodation bookings are accepted on the basis that all occupants will treat the property with the same respect as their own home in accordance with the “House Rules”. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10pm and 8am.

The views from the living area and balcony are simply perfect, you wont want to leave the place. Great base to explore Fairhaven or simply relax.

Amazing views

Views are incredible! Beautiful deck to enjoy them. The house is ok . The living are is great, again with amazing views and a nice open space with room for everyone. Rooms are ok. Bathrooms need a bit of an upgrade, specially the little one.

Great Location

The location of the property was excellent, with fantastic views of the coastline and easy access to the beach. The open lounge, eating and kitchen area lends itself to family atmosphere with lots of little areas around to read a book or have some alone time. The only comment we can make for improvement is that the decor in the bathrooms could use a freshen up. The shell basins are just short of being hazardous with several bruises to show from our stay😁 We throughly enjoyed our stay and would come back for another holiday.

Views are amazing

We loved the deck area, it was a beautiful place to relax and take in the views and enjoy the sunshine, 180 degree views meant we could see sunrise and sunset and the window seat was the perfect spot to sit and watch the sunrise with your morning cup of coffee or to relax and read a book.

Pure Bliss

Its our second year in a row staying at this pristine property, and we only wish we could stay more often. An array of luxury beach holiday needs are catered for. The views are simply spectacular, we didnt want to leave the house. Its roomy and clean and well-appointed with all you need for a few weeks away. Its also very close to the beach - a 5 minute walk down an easy to navigate path - and located away from the road. All you can hear at night are the waves. The standard is very high. The 4 king-single bunk beds are most comfy, and one of the queen beds is ok. There is one queen bed that could be updated as its a bit soft for us, as we are used to sleeping on firmer beds. The only thing that could enhance the stay would be free wifi. Overall, its a glorious place to stay. Well be back again next year.

Stunning Location

The property & views for once surpass the Internet photos! We had an amazingly relaxing couple of days! Fantastic location, fantastic house! The only things we missed were toiletries - everything else was spot on!

Amazing location

We had a great time at The Cliff's Edge. The sweeping panorama of Fairhaven surf beach was wonderful. It's just a short walk to a pristine beach. There's a large decking from which to enjoy the views or you can sit inside and stare through the floor to ceiling glass. The kitchen is well-equipped except that the toaster needs replacing. The furniture is comfortable. The dcor is tasteful. Some areas for improvement: the house was not clean. There were cobwebs everywhere including inside cupboards. The window seat cushions were covered in ants which were swarming over dead flies. The windows and outdoor areas also needed a clean. There were towels on the clothesline covered in cobwebs, clearly from the last guests' stay. There was no internet. The one window with flyscreen to allow for ventilation was locked and no key was provided hence the place smelled musty when we arrived. Only one key to the property was provided. There were no toiletries which is a bit mean given that it's in a high price bracket. We paid $700 per night, outside the high season, and I think for that money we should have been able to expect a clean property that has internet. The lack of cleanliness was mentioned by the one other reviewer which makes me question whether anyone at Great Ocean Road Rentals, or the owner/s, read the reviews. In summary, great property that needs cleaning and internet.

Great Location

Great location with lovely views but it felt like the whole property needed a good clean. The bed in the main room squeaked when you rolled over. Would have been nice if these things could have been provided, batteries for remotes(Foxtel and DVD) some basic toiletries as no soap was provided at all, tea bags and a descent coffee machine. The toaster needs to be replaced.
