**Spring 2026 - Upgrades & New Photos Coming for Summer 2026 ** This already nice condo is seeing some upgrades in Spring 2026! Work is beginning in early April, with completion expected by mid May. This unit is getting fresh paint throughout. The kitchen is being remodeled with new tile backsplash, new countertops, and rearranging the layout to add a washer/dryer for in-unit laundry. Bench seating is being added to the dining table, to accommodate more people. There will also be new furniture in the living room to increase seating. The bathrooms are getting all new accessories, possibly new vanities, and new shower enclosures. The bedrooms are getting new wood flooring. The bedroom with one queen (we call it "Bedroom 3") is having its regular queen bed replaced with a queen over queen bunk bed (800 pound weight limit, sleeps 4). In the loft upstairs The 2 Twin daybed / trundle bed is being replaced with a full over queen bunk bed (sleeps 2-3). The other mattresses throughout the condo are also being replaced with new ones.

The Property:
Ridgecrest 305, by Mountain Vacation Lodging, is a 3 bedroom + loft condo, and a great place to stay in any season. You'll enjoy fantastic views from a unit that has updated finishes and nice furnishings in every room. This condo has 3 bedrooms plus a loft and two living areas. There are 2 King beds, 3 Queen beds, and 1 Full (double) bed, making this property ideal for couples, but also great for singles and families with kids. Bedroom 1 is a large space, and is found on the main level. It has a King size bed, large HDTV, large closet, ensuite bathroom, and vaulted ceilings. Bedroom 2 is on the upper level. It has a King size bed, large HDTV, large closet, and ensuite bathroom. The loft area is also upstairs, adjacent to Bedroom 2. It has a bunk bed with a Full (double) bed on top and a Queen bed on the bottom. This space also includes a wall mounted TV. Guests staying here have the option to go through Bedroom 1 to that ensuite bathroom, or go down the stairs and use the third full bathroom, which is right across the hall from Bedroom 3. So, Bedroom 3 is on the main level and just like Bedroom 1, is a pretty big room that feels even larger due to its high vaulted ceilings. This bedroom includes a Queen over Queen bunk bed, large closet, and wall mounted HDTV.

Stainless steel appliances are featured in the kitchen where there is also a dining table that will be enlarged for Summer 2026. The kitchen boasts granite counters, slate tile floors, and beautiful cabinets. You'll have everything you need to cook up a great meal, and then some, with additional items like the blender and crock pot for your convenience. What is better than coming home from a day on the slopes to a big pot of chili or beef stew? Easy and delicious! Right next to the kitchen are two cozy chairs where you can sit back and warm yourself in front of the fire. This is an ideal spot to read a book, or to remove those ski boots and relive your day on the slopes! The living room has a comfy couch and HDTV. From this couch, you can enjoy the warmth of the fire, the HDTV, and a view of the slopes all at once. The bedrooms all have a good size and style. There are 2 master suites, each with a King bed and full ensuite bathroom. One of the King master bedrooms is upstairs, next to the loft living room, which makes the upper level a really nice suite of its own. The main level King master has vaulted ceilings and fabulous views. You might have to flip a coin to decide which you prefer. The third bedroom is also on the main level. It has a Queen bed, vaulted ceilings, great views, and a dedicated full bathroom right across the hall. This property also has free WiFi and a reserved covered parking spot for your use.

The Ridgecrest condos are located right above Ski Time Square and Gondola Square. Some guests might consider walking down to the base area in the summer. The elevation which gives this condo such spectacular views over and across the base area also means that you're walking downhill to the base area, but more importantly, uphill coming home. So, you might walk down and then hire an Uber, Lyft, or the local Go Alpine taxi for the way home. For guests without a car, these options represent an affordable "pay for what you use" option, which can be so much better than paying for high price lodging with a "free" private shuttle service. The walk to and from the base area includes sections without a sidewalk, and a short section which is pretty steep, so we do not recommend making this walk in the winter, if you have kids, if you're not in very good physical condition, when it is icy, or if you have a car. The Steamboat Ski Resort has free parking at the Meadow and Knoll lots, both of which are very convenient to this property and the Gondola.

This condo has good quality, fantastic views, nice amenities, plenty of space, and a price that leaves room for dining, activities, and adventures. This home has a ā€œHigh Occupancy Feeā€ of $10 per person per night for each guest over the standard occupancy of 6 people. Summer nights are cool and fans are provided at most properties. Check the average high and low temperatures and weather forecast for your dates of travel, and look at the list of amenities to see if AC or fans are part of the rental property and look for ceiling fans in photos.
** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a ā€œHigh Occupancy Feeā€ to ā€œraise the rateā€ for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking. The agreement requires a guest to confirm the group size and subsequently, to disclose any changes to the planned group size, which may result in an increase, or decrease, to the total cost, and may result in a security deposit becoming required.
** Video & Noise Monitoring - Please note that noise monitoring devices, and security cameras, do exist on the exterior of the property. Cameras are positioned to cover all entrances and exits of the home. Cameras are present to ensure the property remains secure and safe, as well as to ensure that guests are honest and upfront about their planned use of the property. If you plan to bring more people than you've indicated, more dogs than indicated, to host a party or event, or do not intend to respect neighbors or the value and quality of the property, then this is not the place for you, and you should not book the property. The unit was exactly what was stated in the listing. Everything was clean - good kitchen amenities. Maybe more glass ware for 6 people would be a good idea. Bedrooms were perfect - 3 bathrooms a huge plus. Everything worked - overall the unit itself was great. The only real negatives - one parking spot for a group of 6 who needed two cars - no real solution for the second car. Since the walk to and from the slopes was a real tough one coming back - and since there is no shuttle - and one place to park a car - tough.

The place was nice, spacious, and very clean! The best thing about it was the view from the balcony!!! Plenty of space to hang out and the bedrooms have plenty of storage for unpacking. The loft space was perfect for the kids (games were also in the cabinet for more entertainment). A couple of downfalls.. third floor and no elevator so hauling all of your stuff up that many stairs is definitely a workout. No washer and dryer in the unit so you have to go down to the common areas for that (more stairs). Parking with 2 vehicles is an issue (only 1 space comes with the unit). And the hot tub was not working when we were there. That was a bummer since we were wanting to get a good hot soak after being on the mountain all day and was one of the main reasons we booked the place.

We had a wonderful stay at this mountain condo! The place was spotless when we arrived and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The views were absolutely stunning — the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. Management was fantastic to work with — very responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with from start to finish. Great location if you’re looking to ski in Steamboat. We were there in September and it was surprisingly warm for a mountain town, but the property had air conditioning units in each room to keep things comfortable. The covered designated parking space was a bonus.

Beautiful views, comfortable beds, excellent location. Check in process was very easy. All bedrooms had box fans and portable AC units, keeping temperatures very comfortable. The main seating area was relatively small but it was fine for our party of 3. There is another living area in the loft. The 3 bedrooms were spacious and we especially appreciated 3 bathrooms in this unit. Note that if you park in the reserved space under the building, you will have 3 flights of stairs to get to this unit. Thank you to the owners and operators for allowing us to stay here!

Great location and well stocked!

Unit was in a great location close to both the resort and the town! Inside was clean and well stocked with great kitchen supplies and appliances. Place would be ideal for a trip with one large car, parking was a little bit difficult with two but possible to make it work with two smaller cars.

Nice Unit, Decent Location

We walked to the mountain from this unit on our ski trip, it was a tough walk back uphill but very do able. The first words on this listing were hot tub, but the hot tub wasn’t working properly while we were here, which was a huge disappointment after skiing everyday. Overall, this is a good place for a ski trip and if there was a shuttle line and a working hot tub, it would be perfect.

Great Condo with a Loft

This property has plenty of room for a group of friends or a family or two. The common areas were great for gathering when we weren't running around Steamboat taking in all the beautiful fall weather. It's central to anything you need in town.

I really enjoyed staying at this property! The view was spectacular! Kitchen, bathroom, everything was stocked and made us feel at home. The parking is the only thing that we had an issue with if your party has more than one vehicle. Overall....would love to stay here again!

We loved our stay here at Ridgecrest. Property was clean upon arrival & the check in instructions were easy peasy. The view from our balcony was unmatched & the hot tub was a very nice amenity for those colder days. All who stayed agree that this is an easy 5 star review. Great condo! Everything you need is there. The cute little outdoor deck was great for my gals to have coffee in the mornings and wine in the early evenings with a beautiful view of all the colors:) New showers, comfy beds , and not far from town!! Can't wait to go back!!

Good trip to Steamboat Springs

This was a very good property to stay at while on a ski vacation in Steamboat with my kids. The unit had everything we needed. Parking was a challenge since we had two vehicles. It would also have been good to know the best way to get transportation to and from the ski area. I would definitely consider staying there again. Thank you!

Everything was communicated prior to arrival. It is definitely a hike to the slopes but doable. It helped we had friends staying at Torin Plum that we could keep our skis there. The place was nicely outfitted with spices and such which is great since we cooked there daily.
