Mountain Chalet in Candalaria Alta, Pucon - "Villa Emague"

Mountain chalet just completed December 2018. Six bedrooms four bathroom with large living room, full kitchen and bonus room. Located in the upper Candalaria area of Pucon directly facing the volcano with lake vistas. House comfortably fits two to three families with children. Approximately eight kilometers to the town of Pucon, and approximately 16 kilometers to the Pucon ski center. The house is nestled in a quiet and secluded part of the mountain.

The space
The house was originally designed so that our family could bring our friends to Pucon and comfortably accomodate everyone under one roof. The house provides all the basic necessities while providing a peaceful and tranquil setting.

If necessary, the house can be divided into two sections, so that it can be shared between two families with children. There are two master suites, each with a king sized bed and private bathroom. The one on the top floor is overlooking the lake with its own private balcony, and second is on the ground floor with views of the volcano and easy access to the ground floor patio. The house is approximatley 350 square meters and can accomodate up to 16 people.

Master bedroom on top floor has a king size bed with its own separate balcony overlooking Lake Villarica and the volcano. On the main floor, there are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two non traditional bunk beds that sleep five people. The ground floor has three bedrooms, with two of the bedrooms with a similar layout as the main floor sharing a bathroom and an extra mini-master bedroom facing the volcano with its own bathroom and access to patio.

Below on the first floor, along with the three bedrooms, there is a large bonus room with a washer, dryer and storage closet.

One unique feature of this property is a small forested gorge that has its own spring water stream during the winter and partially during the summer months. A very tranquil setting with the sounds of nature.

Todos preguntan, ¿por qué su casa se llama Villa Emague? Bueno, cuando estábamos reflexionando sobre el nombre de nuestra casa, estábamos por todas partes. Pero había un denominador común y que cada nombre tenía algo que ver con uno de nuestros padres. Como valoramos a nuestras madres, específicamente a la abuela Emma y a la abuela Elena, a quienes llamamos GueGue, pensamos que sería bueno llamarla Emaque para las matriarcas de dos de nuestras familias. Nuestra casa representa el maravilloso hogar que nos dieron nuestras madres y lo que recordamos de niños. Esperamos que nuestro hogar también brinde el mismo nivel de comodidad que nos brinda.
