Spacious flat with lovely views set in conservation area.

Set in the beautiful Aiguablava bay, the refurbished flat forms part of a low rise building. The south facing Lounge with sea view, leads on to southwest facing balcony with dining and seating for 6 having peaceful views over orchard. Well equipped Kitchen/Diner again seating 6. 1 ensuite double bedroom, 2 further twin bedded rooms which lead directly onto the balcony. Further full bathroom. All bedrooms have good cupboard space and there is a DVD, music centre and 'iPod' docker. Cots and high chairs available by request. Set in peaceful gardens with pool and children's pool. Table tennis, volley ball and toddlers play area on site and tennis and golf close by. Beach 15 minutes walk.
Our professional cleaning team uses products recommended for the disinfectant cleaning of the property. They wear specific clothing for their and your safety. I can provide a list of the products used if you wish.



Location: The flat is located just 5 minutes drive from the sandy Aiguablava beach which has 4 beach cafes; and 15 minutes walk from Playa Fonda shingle beach.

Eating out: Whilst the flat has a well equipped with Kitchen, there are excellent, reasonably priced eateries within 15 minutes drive. Within walking distance is the famous Aiguablava Hotel with its excellent cuisine. There are also some supberb restaurants in the locality

Sports: The championship golf course of Pals is about 12 minutes drive and there are other excellent courses within 30 minutes drive. There are numerous tennis courts in the area.

Wonderful relaxing base.

Sue - the owner provided excellent advice and local information. The apartment is very comfortable and we were surprised how large the balcony and pool were. The grounds are beautifully maintained. Kitchen very well equipped. Not many restaurants within walking distance but local taxis available. I would be happy to return here and to recommend it.

Lovely apartment with great facilities

Easy process to check-in and out. Sue responded quickly to any questions. Apartment was in good clean condition, as described. Lovely space, excellent pool for kids and really pretty setting.

Fabulous pool

Close to many beautiful coves and we used the coastal path to hike to some. We loved the pool - large enough to swim proper lengths and work off the numerous ice creams we consumed over the week! Nearby Begur has plenty of good restaurants. Apartment is well appointed and the balcony enjoys the late afternoon / evening sun.

Well equipped spacious apartment in beautiful relaxing surroundings!

Aguablava and Begur are surely the best hidden secret in Europe. The conservation area ooses beauty, tranquility and many fabulous Restaurants specialising in fish and Spanish dishes. Add this to a totally equipped apartment with a warm and friendly host, what more could you ask for? We will certainly return.

Lovely sized appartment in a nice peaceful setting

We stayed here with our 5 children aged 6-16 for 2 weeks. The appartment is spacious and perfect for a family holiday, it was well equipped for our mainly self catering holiday with all kitchen appliances, hairdryer, iron, hoover etc. The owner was very helpful both before and during our stay. The appartment is set in lovely well kept grounds with a large pool which we all enjoyed. A car is advisable to get to nearby shops/restaurants, Although there are popular beaches within walking distance. Overall we had a great holiday and hope to return at some point.

Super Apartment

We stayed here last June and what a super apartment. Tasteful,clean and comfortable, lovely big pool and large balcony to have lunch on. Everything we needed. Sue the owner was so accommodating and helpful. The area was a bit quiet for my 12 year old but it was very easy to drive to the local beach towns as the roads are great,I really enjoyed my morning cuppucino in the Hotel Agua Blava,five minute walk to the bottom of the hill over looking the sea, beautiful. A car is essential to get to beaches/towns/shopping and for exploring the hidden coves.Begur town is a must for evening dinner and drinks.

Very nice apartment!

We spent 1 week beginning of August in Sue apartment: Well located in a very quite area (not so usual in Spain…), apartment is very nice, well furbished, nice decoration and clean. Swimming pool is rather big and very clean. Perfect for our family with 4 kids! Thanks ++ Sue, we would certainly come again.

A 5-star rating for this apartment as it was a fantastic place to stay, both in terms of its location and facilities. The apartment was well maintained and very well equipped with supplies of books, dvds, cds, toys for the children and even a beach umbrella. The kitchen was also well-stocked with plenty of crockey and utensils. The pool at the complex was larger than expected and we often had it to ourselves in the late afternoons. Aigua Blava is a beautiful location and there are lots of great beaches in the area. We enjoyed eating at the beach restaurants and in Begur, and had some great trips out to the Salvador Dali museum in Figueres, the botanical gardens at Cap Roig, and the lovely villages of Pals and Peratallada. A great holiday and we will be back.

June 2010

We had a fabulous holiday in the first week of June. The apartment was very spacious and well fitted out. The garden was great to relax in and the 2 pools were pleasantly warm at this time of year with the added bonus that we had them to ourselves for most of the time. The surrounding area is stunning with plenty of beaches and coastal walks close by and Begur is good for a meal out. All in all it makes for a perfect family holiday.

holiday in August

Tastefully decorated in a contemporary style, this well furnished apartment has everything you might need during your holiday. It feels homely and welcoming. We were pleasantly suprised by the carefully selected stock of music CDs, films, books, table and beach games. The owners also collected plenty of information about Costa Brava and its highlights. Their recommendations on local restaurants and cafes were very helpful. The communal pool is big enough for a good swim but also excellent for children. Our kids used it every day on lazy mornings. The apartment is very close (less than 10 min walk) to one beach, but because it has steep stairs to climb up and down we often used Aquiablava beach which is easier to approach with kids but a little bit further away. Beaches are on a smaller side and can get very crowded in a day time (August). Overall, beautiful place, convenient base to explore the area.

Lovely, light and spacious flat with everything you could want for a relaxing holiday. Wonderful beaches within walking distance. Plenty of places to eat, nearby and small restaurant on site. Fabulous unspoilt part of Costa Brava. Roads and beaches busy in August!

Dos Calas

We had a great week in this lovely, bright and airy, well equipped flat. When the beach gets a bit busy, it's the ideal place to come back to, relaxing on the well tended quiet lawns by the large pool. Favourite beaches: Llafranc, Aigua Blava, restaurants: Chez Thomas in Llafranc, Es Dofi (almost on the beach) in Tamariu. Also a good choice of restaurants in Calella ( a lovely walk along the coastal path from Llafranc) and in Begur. All this combined with stunning scenery makes this a hard to beat holiday destination.

We never considered a holiday home, but when this became available, it seemed the perfect thing to do. We have never regretted our decission.

Lovely views, a sunny aspect and, whilst it does get busier in the height of the season, it is a lot less busy than most places and for most of the year it is a peaceful idyll.
