A modern, architecturally designed 2 story home built to capture expansive and breathtaking valley and mountain views on a working olive and cattle farm - Poppa's Olives! Relax and unwind on the upstairs deck, enjoy the spoils of the wine fridge and stocked pantry. Cook up a storm on the deck's bbq or the custom designed kitchen. The indoor open fireplace is perfect for cosy nights with a great bottle (or two...) of Hunter Valley wine! Or enjoy a night under the stars and around the campfire with our outdoor firepit!

Located at Poppa's Olives - a working olive and cattle farm on over 200 acres! Poppa's Place is your perfect place to getaway from it all! With a totally unique 2 story design, it captures the most amazing sunrises and sunsets across the valley and mountain ranges. The large open-plan living style is more than spacious for 8 guests. Make yourself at home!

Of the four large bedrooms, two have walk in robes and one has a full ensuite and the bath that captures the most amazing valley views as you soak away your cares! Two bedrooms have private balconies, showcasing more amazing views over the valley. Have a big family? Ask us about how we cater for larger groups (there's an additional sofa bed and two day beds - just byo linen for them). Watch the kids play on the outdoor equipment as you relax around the outdoor firepit (fire regulations permitting - check with us). For the cavemen, grab the wheelbarrow and gather the wood yourself! Prefer the creature comforts? Enjoy the indoor open fireplace with complimentary kindling and firewood (and firestarters for the novices!). Take a leisurely stroll around the farm.. through the olive grove, around the dams, feed the cattle, horses, chickens and alpacas (just mind the cow pats!). Enjoy nature at its best!

And please be mindful - if you're all having lots of showers morning and night, you may run out of hot water... Welcome to farm life!

The beautiful Hunter River, swimming holes and the oldest winery in Australia - Dalwood Estate (once Wyndham Estate) are just 2kms down the road! It's 5 min to town, 15min to Hunter Vineyards and concert venues, 40min to Newcastle Beaches (and Newcasatle Airport) and 2hrs from Sydney.
