Bright Apartment With Terrace Near Kentish Town

The living room is fabulous, light and airy. It's equipped with sofa bed and dining table, full kitchen with all the necessary utensils. 1 double bed, private en suite bathroom and own entrance. The extra bedroom in the attic allows to accomodate 2 additional guests for extra price to be paid on arrival in cash. Please note there is no TV in any room, only wifi connection.
The terrace with splendid view is available for use and smoking, however please note that it is communal, not private.
A fabulous apartment situated opposite Kentish Town Station and 10 minutes walk from vibrant Camden Town and stunning Hampstead Heath. It has excellent public transport connections and a great place to relax. The apartment is situated above a coffee shop Starbucks, you have access to the apartment from the rear entrance. There are several flights of stairs so please be sure to check before booking, it is not suitable for disabled access. There is also free parking on a street with no possibility to book in advance, place can be taken on arrival upon availability.
If you need 2nd bedroom, please let me know in advance and be sure you will need to pay extra. Early and late check in are also to be charged.

The flat has access to a communal terrace! The terrace has 2 cameras - 1 is on top of the entrance door to fix people coming in and out of the building, the 2nd one is on the right side of the wall while looking at the entrance covering the terrace itself. We put it there only for safety reasons.

It's a lovely, clean, and well-located apartment. Conveniently located near all the shops and cafes. The metro station is just across the street, which is also very convenient. It can be a bit noisy at times, but that's part of a big city. John, who welcomed us, was friendly and explained everything clearly. It was also helpful that you can park for free on the street behind the apartment. The only thing missing was a pair of scissors. Unfortunately, the extra price for the attic bedroom wasn't listed, but it could be rented for a small fee of 10 per day. Keep in mind that there are four flights of stairs to climb, which might be challenging for those with limited mobility. Also note that there's no TV, but there is a good internet connection, so you can easily watch TV with a laptop.

Apartment was ok. Not quite what we expected. Quite basic. We went for a family meet up to celebrate a birthday. Would have been nice to have found some drinking glasses or wine glasses that matched! Parking space that was advertised wasnā€™t suitable for a larger car so had to pay extra to park when we arrived. Location was great.

John T did a great job helping us getting 6 large bags up the 49 steps to the third floor flat. He also got us extra towels for 3 people. The stove a little tricky. But close to tube and so. Good restaurants and coffee shops

Pleasant Stay

Enjoyed the property. It served our needs just fine. Beds were comfortable, shower was good. We loved the location but bear in mind that itā€™s a loud street if that bothers you. Also a few flights of stairs. Would book again. Thank you all

The apartment was bright, sunny, and clean. It has all the amenities. This apartment is not suitable for anyone over 65. The apartment is located on the 4th floor and there is no elevator. Also, the tub is very deep and difficult to get in and out of. The location is very nice and there are a lot of shops and restaurants nearby.

Great location, value

Very good all around. Great location and communication. Back patio was nice but could be fantastic with upgraded seating. Would have been nice to have laundry and dish soap provided, and more than one roll of toliet paper. Still, i wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Property was clean, very nice and was the same as advertised. The only thing I found was it did not mention that there were a lot of stairs to climb. Other than that John was very nice and our stay was enjoyable.

Great stay in London at Kentish Town

The apartment worked out great for us and was a good location except for the Underground station at Kentish Town is closed. If you are a lite sleeper make sure you bring ear plugs. The beds were comfortable and the space worked out great for us.

Very nice place to live in

Very cosy and very clean apartment, nice place to live in. Public transport is nearby, although Kentish Town Station was closed due to renovations, there are plenty of other alternatives. Very uncomplicated, warm and helpful welcome (Thank you and regards to Iivia!). All told, we enjoyed our stay and we definetly recommend the apartment.

The apartment was clean and tidy as shown and described in the pictures. There was enough space for the 2 of us and we felt very comfortable these 4 days. All in all a beautiful and recommendable apartment in a really great area! Thank you for letting us stay with you for these 4 days.

Convenient and private

We stayed for just over a month and found the flat very well suited for our needs. The second bedroom on the top floor is the nicer and larger of the two so worth paying the supplement. NB there are quite a lot of stairs so not ideal with a pushchair or mobility constraints.

Well equipped apartment

The property was comfortable and had everything needed for a stay of any length. Bed comfortable. Great location right opposite tube station and within walking distance of Camden. Could only be improved by having blinds fitted to block morning light. On a main road therefore noisy during night though luckily we had taken ear plugs and eye masks.

Serviceable but disappointing

Pros... roomy, plenty of warm water, washer available, great temp, lots of natural light, easy access to tube/train stationCons... not ready at checkin time, lacking general cleanliness, plenty of dirty spots and dust all about, dishes in cabinet were dirty, 3 flights of steep skinny stairs, lots of street noise/sirens, we were told to provide our own toilet paper so we had to go shopping (one roll and one almost empty roll was provided)

The place was ok, But when you stay at a VRBO I expect to have silverware to use. Hand towels and other thing that a home would have. The photos online should be update to how this property really is not how it use to be.

Most of the 7 day stay we did not have Internet, so we had to use our purchased London data in the apartment. Check in process had few bumps, as we could not connect right away with the person replacing the owner.

Decent, but read the description

I booked this place after reading all the overall things it had, I had no idea I would be charged extra money for a second room until I was already on my way to London. This place is NOT a 2 bedroom, it's a q bedroom that can add an extra bedroom (so hidden fees). If it listed the place for more money, and both rooms I would have been ok with it

Kentish Town Stay

It would have been nice to know there were a lot of stairs leading up to the apartment. I'm in my late 70's but lucky for me, I'm fit. There were four in our party but only two wash cloths. The first day after showering the tub flooded through the floor into the bedroom. "John" came immediately to assess the problem and agreed to make the repairs next day while we were in London. We were gone all day but the repairs were not complete when we arrive back. We could not use the bathroom until he was finished. Very inconvenient. The apartment was clean and convenient to the train station.

Excellent location

Perfect location, literally across the street from the Northern line and it was so easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. Restaurants and grocery stores right there. We rented the additional space which is another bedroom upstairs, was super helpful to have that additional bedroom. We also cooked in and they generally had everything we needed. This is a 3rd floor apartment so you have to be ready for that, not a problem for us. The entrance is around back as the apartment is over a commercial property (empty at the moment). This explains why you have to meet the manager in person to get the keys, no place for a lock box that I could see. He came very quickly when we texted him we were there. Street noise didnā€™t bother us but I use a white noise app to sleep anyway. Couldnā€™t here anything from the upstairs bedroom. Weā€™ve stayed at newer apartments in the past but we given the choice now would stay here instead, the location trumps the more dated decor and quirkiness of the layout. We were super happy with our stay.

Great London Getaway Spot

Overall, we were very pleased with our stay at this location. The property was clean and had plenty of space for the two of us. The beds were VERY comfortable and felt great after a long day exploring London! I also recommend getting the bonus loft space; it was a large space with a great view of London. There are a lot of stairs to access this proper. Just an FYI for people who may not be able bodied, but we didn't mind at all. The property is in a great location. It is north of the hustle and bustle of the city proper, however there is a lot to offer in the neighborhood; plenty of restaurants and EASY access to the bus and tube to get anywhere in the city! The property does mention it has WIFI, but it did not work. Even after the property manager reset the router, we still did not have access. Plan to create and use your own hotspot or be off the grid for the week as you don't have internet access. The only other downside was communication between the owner and the property manager. When we arrived we were told we did not have a reservation and then there was debate over payment we did or did not make. This made for a stressful start to our trip, but the situation was rectified. Both Valeria and John were kind and pleasant to us; the communication breakdown was on their end. Overall, I highly recommend this space and would return on my next trip to London!

Die Wohnung liegt sehr gĆ¼nstig und ist gut mit den ƶffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichbar. FĆ¼r GƤste, die viel unterwegs sind, ist die Lage daher ein Pluspunkt. Durch die zentrale Lage ist jedoch der StraƟenlƤrm deutlich hƶrbar. Die Einrichtung ist schlicht und funktional. Das Badezimmer ist recht klein, eine Dusche wƤre praktischer als die vorhandene Badewanne. Die KĆ¼chenausstattung ist eher begrenzt ā€“ es gibt nur wenige Tƶpfe, Teller, GlƤser und Besteck. Der Zugang zur Wohnung erfolgt Ć¼ber ein Tor, das auf den ersten Blick etwas nĆ¼chtern wirkt. Eine Terrasse oder ein AuƟenbereich ist leider nicht vorhanden.

Super Lage - Wohnung ok

Die Lage direkt an U-Bahn und Bus ist sensationell. Man ist in 10 Minuten am Oxford Circus und kann alle bekannten SehenswĆ¼rdigkeiten Ƥhnlich schnell erreichen. Toll auch, wenn es heiƟ ist, ist man super schnell in Camden bzw in einem Park z.B. Primrose Hill etc. Die Wohnung selbst ist in Ordnung - allerdings war es nicht ganz sauber, die SpĆ¼lmaschine war kaputt, der KĆ¼hlschrank hat gemuffelt, viele GlĆ¼hbirnen haben nicht funktioniert, die WohnungstĆ¼r muss man zuschlagen - insgesamt fehlt ein bisschen Liebe zum Detail...
