When entering this amazing home, one is dazzled by its beauty. A uniquely designed inner courtyard and fountain welcome you into this exquisite home, which features a luxurious and comfortable living room, media room, fully equipped kitchen with butler's pantry, and formal dining room.

The beautiful artwork and decorations, plush bedroom furniture and bedding, expansive outdoor deck with sparkling clear pool, hot tub/jacuzzi, cold plunge pool, and inviting lounge furniture are almost too overwhelming.
Start your day with a tropical breakfast on the outdoor patio, take a swim in the pool, and enjoy a good glass of wine while overseeing the beautiful view of the valley below and the mountains beyond; all ingredients for a wonderful vacation at “La Perla de Atenas” – and you can have it all.

This beautiful home has three bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms, double sinks, and walk-in closets, comfortably accommodating up to six people. The master suite has a king-size bed with a luxurious Tempurpedic mattress, two walk-in closets, a jacuzzi bathtub, a separate luxurious shower, and a sauna steam room. Two separate guest suites are tastefully furnished with comfortable king-sized beds and dressers. WiFi, cable, and local telephone are enabled for convenience.

On the property, there are many full-grown trees that tropical birds like toucans, Montezuma Oropendolas, and motmots always visit. Wake up to the sound of nature, stroll outside, and pick your healthy breakfast from the many fruit trees: orange, mango, guanabana, clementine, star fruit, and water apple. This makes an excellent start for a wonderful new day in paradise.

As an additional service to our house guests, we offer a fee-based airport pick-up and drop-off to help you avoid the potential hassles involved in the transitions into and out of your time in Costa Rica (something to consider when you have night-time travel plans, mainly but a nice comfort to have in any event). We also provide car rentals and tours to all corners of the country, including the Poas and Arenal volcanoes, La Paz Waterfall Gardens, a private Catamaran Sailing tour, a visit to an Organic Coffee Farm, and tours custom-made to our guests' requests throughout Costa Rica.

Our property managers, Klaas and Sandra de Graaf, are multilingual (English, Dutch, Spanish) from the Netherlands. They are ready to welcome you to La Perla de Atenas and will do everything they can to make your stay a great success.
They can arrange for you to have your fridge stocked with your favorite groceries upon arrival or have a home-cooked meal ready for you on your arrival day.

Weekly cleaning is included for guests who stay longer than 10 days. Our excellent housekeeper, Isabel, is a jewel.
