This 2 BR/1 full bath ( MINIMUM 2 NIGHT STAY) designed for couples or small families seeking a topical island vacation with all the modern luxuries. iuiPerfect for up to 4 to sleep comfortably. Easy access to beautiful Caribbean beaches- just minutes by car to the quiet and pristine Blue and Red Beaches, the best on the island! This property features a modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. We provide a washer/dryer in unit, dining area and a HD-smart TVand WiFi internet! Each bedroom has a queen size bed. There is a porch overlooking the well maintained tropical gardens and a Caribbean view. Ceiling fans in each room and a powerful AC unit keep the property cool, along with the lovely sea breezes. The house is surrounded by lush, green landscaping and vibrantly colored tropical plants. Security is not a concern here- the house is enclosed by walls with a secure front gate and easy, safe parking. This is one of the closest houses to the BEST beaches on the island--located within the nature preserve (no homes allowed here), the entrance to which is just across the street.

We ask that this home is respected and cared for. Our housekeeper is available to help make your stay as easy and comfortable as possible, however damage to the house or breaking the terms of the lease (extra people without permission, pets) will be reported to the owner.
Vieques is not a "walkable" or public transit friendly island. Renting a car in advance is For those unfamiliar with Vieques, a car or golf cart is highly recommended to ease travel around the island. You should try to book a car rental prior to your arrival on the island. We also recommend pre-booking ferry or air travel to Vieques prior to confirming your VRBO reservation. We will not refund your stay due to poor travel planning.

We ask that this home is respected and cared. Our house keeper will meet you at property to hand you keys and complete a walk through prior to your stay in a effort to make it as easy and comfortable as possible. Blue Wall Oasis

Ideal location for us, near beaches, and a friends year-round residence. Finding the property was very difficult. Proprietor should provide a map to guests a few days before arrival, or should post a map on the website. A photograph of the exterior would have helped us identify the property when we first arrived.

What an amazing stay !

Our host Zia was truly amazing. Very friendly gentleman who made us feel like family. Zia gave great suggestions about the island. He was also very kind in allowing us a late check out due to flight delays.This property was very quiet and had all of the amenities of home. Great internet and streaming services, washer and dryer with a full kitchen.There were even beach supplies included. I can not wait to visit this property again. We have also made a new friend in Zia. Tony

Bare bones

A good location near the beaches but the apartment is very bare bones. Not much to make it feel like a home. Kitchen has almost nothing inside the cabinets. Recommend bringing your own pillows. AC works wonderfully which was a plus to the property and bedrooms were quiet. Arrived to a very clogged toilet and found two cockroaches in the bathroom during our stay. There would be very good views but a few trees block it. Grounds are nicely kept. Does include beach chairs and a cooler. I’ve been to vieques many times so I had no trouble finding the property.

Clean and nice, great caretaker made the stay worry free

place is clean and basic, has washer and dryer and laundry soap. full size fridge/freezer. Caretaker Edbert is great - he met us at the ferry, took us to the unit. Has Directv and wireless internet, but the internet was down (no fault of the unit - the provider was having troubles). A/C one room only, but does help to dry out the other rooms. Not really hot in Vieques, so this worked out well. Our reservation for the Bioluminescent bay (a MUST SEE) fell through, and Edbert found us a tour when everyone else was sold out. would stay again. thanks!!

Rough Vacation

The booked apartment was filthy, smelled horrible and completely run down. The Microwave and the clothes dryer were broken. The bedsheets were old and stained, towels thread bare and mismatched and no beach lounge was available (as advertised).I immediately emailed the owner and to his defense he does not live on Vieques and clearly has not been to the property in quite some time. He was extremely apologetic, and did offer us the apartment next door. This was better however, the washer & microwave were broken and one of the A/C units was leaking and I still had to clean the kitchen counters as they were not clean. We had to wash clothes in one apt and dry in the other. I was certainly not expecting the Four Seasons but have NEVER had such a disappointing experience with a rental propertyNo financial restitution was offered.

Far From Modern Luxuries!

I just came back from my stay at this property along with a friend and my partner. I have stayed at many VRBO's throughout the past years and this is the only place I have felt the need to review negatively. The check-in process was fine & Ebert and his wife were kind enough to pick us up from the ferry and take us to the property. That is the positive feedback. Upon entering the rental and situating ourselves, we discovered that the only air conditioner was in the front bedroom and it only worked the first night of our stay. Every other room had ceiling fans, but the living room fan did not work. That made the living room intolerable (not to mention that the furniture was extremely lumpy & hard to sit in.) I was in the back bedroom and the ceiling fan worked, but there was a floor fan in the room which the motor was burnt out. I tried via phone & text to the housekeeper to see if we could move to another unit & the reasons why, but I never heard back. I did hear back the day we left (today) asking how our stay was going.....a little too late! Needless to say, I am exhausted from lack of sleep due to the roosters & intense heat in the room! We were told there was a full-size washer & dryer. After a night of kayaking that was a plus! When we went to dry the clothes we realized the dryer was broken. The knob was off & it did not have the right pieces to make it run. Luckily we had a day to hang the clothes outside. The kitchen has some issues such as no ice trays, one wine glass, two tall drinking glasses, etc., but nothing major. I would not recommend this property even for a one night turn and burn!
