Beautiful Casita - Padradise in Panama, Nueva Gorgona

This stunning, fully furnished one bedroom casita is 500 sq. feet with an open living/dining concept. The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances and granite counter tops. The bedroom has a king size bed and offers plenty of storage. The couch, queen size hide-a-bed, allows for two extra people (adults or children). Guests can enjoy lounging by the outdoor pool, sitting on their private patio and barbecuing their evening meal. The grounds, a half acre, are lush green and filled with coconut, mango and papaya trees. The internet in each casita is hard wired to ensure a great experience.
Located an hour from Panama City and a short 5 minutes to the magnificent Pacific Gold Coast beach, Gorgona is an ideal central location for your vacation stay. Dining out, no problem! Gorgona offers fine dining at the nearby Bahia as well as smaller restaurants enticing you with their local flavors. Nearby Coronado, another short 5 minutes away offers amenities such as a 24 hour supermarket, pharmacies, restaurants, medical clinic and a world class golf course.
Come visit us in Paradise, if only for a brief stay. Panama offers something for everyone! There is surfing, horseback riding, hiking trails, zipline tours, white water rafting tours and fishing trips nearby.

We had a great stay at Russ and Linda's casita. Everything was as described and pictured in the listing! The casita was nicely decorated, and well appointed. Wifi was great, the pool was well maintained and private (not visible from the street). It’s walkable to a few restaurants and small grocery stores, and the beach is not too far. It was lovely to be able to do a load of laundry. We'd stay again for sure!

Beautiful casita, yard and pool

This was a great place to stay in the Gorgona area, the casita was very nice and has everything you could need. The pool and pool area was beautiful and relaxing. The hosts were awesome and very helpful to us first time visitors to Panama. We would definitely come back again!

The best

This is A1 Class....style and quality. The pool spotless and not over chlorinated. Just perfect. The grounds are pristine. The best I have ever stayed at. Host Emma is adorable.

Beautiful property, great hosts!

Spent two weeks with the Hunts, fantastic property with clean and spacious villas. The best equipped kitchen in any place we have been. Comfortable beds and seating inside and out! Amazing gardens and pool area. Clean and silky smooth pool. Everything you need to enjoy your time in a quaint, quiet neighborhood. Short walk or 2 dollar cab ride to beautiful beach. Loved our time there and would return in a minute!

Beautifully maintained and restful property!

You will need a car to venture out - unless you like walking early mornings - neighborhood roads are a little “bumpy” . Learn to access bus and taxis - they are plentiful and drivers are very nice folks. Walking to ocean is doable (head out early!). Pool is a BIG BONUS ! Casita was lovely - owners work extremely hard to make everything perfect ! Met some lovely people during our time here (one month)

Nueva Gorgona hidden gem

This compound was located far enough away from the hustle and bustle of traffic, but was close enough to restaurants, mini-supermarkets, and more. The gated property was lush and shady, and offered some respite from the heat at the large swimming pool. The onsite laundry room was very convenient, and we especially liked hanging out at the pool while the machines worked hard.The AC in the bedroom did a fine job helping us sleep comfortably, but the ceiling fans throughout the house did not help much when the gas range was in use.The kitchen was well appointed, with plenty of pans, dishes, glassware, etc. There were towels for bathing, the pool and the beach, which was very convenient.Wi-Fi did not work properly for our entire stay. Luckily our sim cards helped us stay connected.Overall, we'd definitely stay here on a future trip and we recommend it to anyone.

Paradise in Panama. Very accurate

My wife and I stayed at Paradise in Panama for a month and were totally impressed with the grounds, the Casita and the owners. The owners, Russ and Linda, live on site and are super nice people and care very much for their guests and their place. The grounds and the pool were always kept immaculate. This property is exactly as described in the write up and the pictures do it no justice. We would recommend this as a place to stay to anyone thinking of going to beautiful Panama. There are little stores, restaurants and bars as well as beaches within 5 minutes of the Casita. The owners were helpful and answered any questions we had and always went out of their way to make us feel welcome and part of this small but cozy place. I will continue to tell anyone who will listen that Paradise in Panama in Neuvo Gorgona is the only place you should consider for your stay in Panama. This is a great home base for day trips or overnights in the city. If you can book this place for your stay in Panama you will consider yourself died and gone to heaven. Don't hesitate to give Linda a shout. She is always welcoming and very happy to help with all your needs. We are planning to return and this is our destination of choice. Nothing but the best at "Paradise in Panama". Russ and Linda, Thank You for Hosting us and making our stay in Panama a memorable one. Can't wait to come back to see all the good friends we met. Cheers and enjoy the Paradise.

Nette und freundliche Gastgeber.

Anlage ist leider weit ab vom Schuss. Ohne Fahrzeug ist man dort aufgeschmissen Fazit: in der Anlage selbst ist sehr ruhig und man kann sich echt gut erholen. Wir werden die Hauskatze vermissen.

Paradise in Panama

The casita is very nicely appointed, in a quiet neighborhood, and close to the city . Our host was very gracious and helpful. Couldn’t have picked a better place . Emma the cat entertained us as well.

The pool was nice to be able to enjoy on a regular bases, the property is spacious and private. The units are also very comfortable.

Super Clean

We were two couples that stayed at the Hunts for two weeks and could not have been happier. If you like to explore you need a car. There is 3 grocery store walking distance and 1 Chinese restaurant. Beside Police Station. The other closest restaurants are Pizzeria Torito's (super good/went 3 times) but slow (who cares your on vacation). Rincon Catracho had good spaghetti and breakfast. Although we eat breakfast at our casita almost everyday as there is EVERYTHING one needs to cook. We eat at La Ruina once and it was so so. If you want to meet a lot of expat's go to Coronado (10-15 min drive) on Wednesday night at Picasso for happy hour between 5 & 7. The place gets full fast. There were so many people from Ontario which was perfect as we are from Ontario as well. We enjoyed our drinks but the food was so, so. Before entering Coronado there is a police check point. They don't bother with the tourist. It was all good. The police are park on the side of the road (motorcycle) a lot which is good as it keeps the traffic from speeding. Driving and drivers in Panama was all good. The nearest beach is Playa Gorgona (white & black sand). We then went to Playa Malibu which is a white sand beach where you can walk for miles and hardly no one there. We were there during the week though. We also drove to Playa Santa Clara on a Saturday and OMG was it busy. But that is the only one we went to that had numerous huts for shade, they all had a hammock, small room/bath one can rent and two restaurants. If you like to people watch that's your spot. One day we drove to El Valley (pronounce L vajay) which is a small town in the mountains and was worth the drive. The views are amazing and the town has a big farmers market open 7 days a week. We also went to the Panama Canal. Make sure you get there before 11:00 am to see the boat crossing. There is a lot to enjoy about Panama. You can drink there water (almost everywhere) it's US money, same time zone as Ontario, no hurricanes and the people were friendly. Would we go back and stay at the Hunts? Absolutely. Russ and Linda are friendly and there property/pool is perfect. The ONLY thing I wish is that they would give you more info as we found out most of it by ourselves. If you drive from Panama City and put Nueva Gorgonna in your GPS it will take you there no problem. That's what we did. During our two week stay there were two other couples from Ontario. Paradise in Panama is truly a nice place.

Perfect for 1st time visitors

This is the place to stay if it's your first time in Panama. All the comforts of home, all the amenities you're used to, no surprises or disappointments.. You can always drive 5 minutes to beach access and Paradise in Panama is close to Coronado shopping and restaurants. Highly recommended!!

Fantastic casita; exceptional value

The casita was bright and cheery and just the right size for the two of us. All the rooms were very "high-end" and exceptionally clean. And the owners provided many of the amenities you would expect to find in a 5-Star hotel. This place has class and style!

Perfect casita

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying here for 3 weeks. The casita was perfect for our needs and we really enjoyed the peaceful setting and pool during our stay. It is conveniently located near a bus stop and close to the shops of Coronado. The Hunts are a sweet couple that helped us with anything we needed during our stay. Highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful

The property (both the Casita and the grounds) were absolutely wonderful...the listing is very accurate - everything is impeccable and well appointed. Owners Linda and Russ are helpful, friendly and discrete. I would highly recommend this property. This is a quiet and peaceful environment so probably not much of interest for party types. As the property is not really walking distance to the beach, the pool was greatly appreciated and also well maintained...most times we had it all to ourselves! Thanks again for your warm welcome Linda and Russ..who knows when our paths meet again. Lynn and Juliette.

Nice quiet spot to get away from it all

Very nicely appointed casitas. Great hosts who take the time to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The grounds are wonderfully landscaped with plenty of trees and flowering shrubs. The pool is super clean and just the right temp. There are plenty of lounge chairs around for the quests. You are within walking distance to the bus stop where for 35 cents you can hop a ride to the next town up the road for shopping, groceries or a quick bite to eat. Or catch a cab for $3 to a nice restaurant inside the gated area of Coronado. The area is close to the Pacific ocean beaches or El Valle. Rent a car for a few days or for your stay to get out and explore the area more. M&M

Perfect Oasis in Nueva Gorgona

We really couldn't have asked for more in this beautiful property. Linda and Russ have thought of every detail to make your vacation experience comfortable and relaxing. From the beautiful tropical grounds to the swimming pool and barbecue/sitting area...it was all wonderful. The casita was spotless, beautifully furnished and equipped with everything you could possibly need. We would recommend this property with no reservations. Can't wait to return...Thank you both for such an amazing week.

Great Little Place

Perfect!! Exceptionally clean, nicely furnished, good location. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. They live on the premises and therefore the casitas are cared for as meticulously as their home. This will be our new hang out when in the area.

Peaceful, calm, quiet, comfortable, welcoming

The location of the casitas was more centrally located than I initially realized. It's a couple blocks to walk to the bus stop that can take you into Coronado for 35 cents. From there you can easily catch buses all over Panama. The buses are inexpensive, and run all day long. The casitas is located on a clean, safe street, and is impeccably maintained. I walked to the beach everyday, which was good for me, as I picked up fresh fruit from the corner stand, and whatever needs I had from a selection of corner stores. Frequently expats would stop and ask if I needed a ride, people around that area were always friendly. Russ and Linda are the nicest people ever. They treated me like family, always welcoming, considerate, special, can't say enough good things about them. Russ has the most amazing ability to predict the weather, with a 99.5% accuracy! Linda is kind, sweet, thoughtful. The casitas itself was exactly as the other reviews reported. Clean, designer quality, everything you could want and more. I stayed a month, my daughter stayed a week, we wish we never left.

Immaculate

My husband and I stayed in this casita for a month. It's truly immaculate! Tastefully furnished, new and very clean. Having the owners live on site is a huge plus. They are more than happy to assist and answer any questions you may have. The pool area is fantastic. It's hot and humid at the coast. You will find yourselves enjoying the pool quite a bit. If you are planning a trip to Coronado and surrounding areas, we highly recommend this casita.

Absolutely the best vacation ever!!

We spent 7 days at this beautiful casita! It was absolutely wonderful. Linda has captured the casita in pictures just like you will find it when you arrive. The casita is beautifully decorated and so clean. The grounds are immaculate. I am very picky about where I stay and I can't say enough good things about Paradise in Panama. Russ and Linda were so friendly and helpful. They have a true gem and I would recommend their casita to anyone wanting a nice, quiet, relaxing vacation. Great restaurant and beaches nearby! We are already planning our trip back to their casita in September 2017! Wonderful people and place. Way more than 5 stars needed for Paradise in Panama.!!

The house is well appointed and comfortable.

The Hunts are lovely people. The house and property is well maintained. The pool and barbecue area is nice. Panama can be loud and busy at times. The Hunts have created a relaxing respite from the hustle and bustle. The Hunts provide all of the amenities needed for comfortable stay. The check-in and check-out process was simple. Los Hunts son gente encantadora. La casa y la propiedad está muy bien cuidada. La zona de la piscina y barbacoa es agradable. Panamá puede ser ruidoso y concurrido a veces.
