Wonderful Stay!Great host! This beautifully remodeled older home combines the charm of an older house with all the conveniences of a modern home. It was very clean and thoughtfully stocked with all the little extras that make a stay more comfortable, including card games, books, coffee, and more.The location was great, close to Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and easy to navigate whether driving yourself or using Uber or Lyft.Following the host’s recommendation, we tried Bomb Biscuit for breakfast/brunch, and it was fantastic! We really appreciated the local recommendation.Overall, a wonderful place to stay with a great host. We would definitely recommend it to others!

We very much enjoyed hosting this guest. And I love this comment about Hartford House having the charm of an historic home that has the convenience of a modern place. That's exactly how we describe this home stay ... it captures great parts of old Atlanta and great parts of new Atlanta. And 100% BOMB Biscuit is the BOMB! :) We would happily host this guest again, and certainly am pleased they would stay again. I highly recommend everyone seeing Atlanta at some point - even if guests don't stay at Hartford House. Although, we think they should.

I am thrilled when a guest has a great stay at Hartford House. We find the best way to ensure a guest enjoys the stay is to ensure a good fit between the guest and the home. We do everything we can to make certain a guest knows what to expect and that we are available if someone has a question. We would host this guest again - we think it was a good fit!

We can't ask for any better rating from a guest ... Overall a wonderful stay! We love to hear that. And we do try to make a wonderful stay for all our guests. Part of that is making sure we explain everything clearly so guests can decide if we are the best fit for them. I am glad this traveling party felt it was right! We would gladly host them again in the future.

Clean house with plenty of room for guests. The host was very friendly and responsive to messages. She gave great recommendations for activities and restaurants throughout the city. Would absolutely stay here again!

House was very cute and had everything we needed. Host communication was great and shared plenty of suggestions and ideas for the area. Location provided easy access to highway and all the places on our agenda.

Extremely happy with the process to book this rental. The house and rooms looked exactly like they were in the pictures. We felt safe and had a great time. Only 15 minutes from downtown so it was a great location.

The Hartford House is beautiful. It was perfect for our short weekend in Atlanta. It was clean and comfortable. I cannot imagine any detail in the house or about the house that the hosts have not considered. The neighbors are friendly, and we felt safe. We followed the instructions regarding our vehicle, as we do anywhere, and there were absolutely no issues. The property is close to I75, so it took us only 20 minutes to get to the Braves game. We had a great stay. The communication with the host was over-the-top timely and accurate. The check-in process was a breeze. We plan to stay at this beautiful location again.

This is a fantastic home and was perfect for our family of 4 while vacationing in Atlanta. It checks all the boxes: very clean, comfortable, great space to lounge (indoor and out), and overall a well maintained property. It is very conveniently located as well, 15 mins from Aquarium, Coke Museum, and in the other direction, Six Flags amusement park. The owners were so nice and worked proactively to ensure we had a great stay. Also, they were very responsive with our questions on arrival/departure days. We will be heading right back here on our next stay in Atlanta.

We really enjoyed this house. The location was close to the beltline and great places to eat. The house was well equipped with everything with needed! We will definitely look to stay there again.

This was a cute home in a nice neighborhood. Check in was easy and the place was clean. The porch was really comfortable even in the rain. The beds were comfortable as well.

We hosted this family in November 2024. I love the use of the word NICE -- because we do call Hartford House NICE and COMFY. We have a true southern home with a great porch - we are glad to hear the guests enjoyed our "sit and stay" porch. Come see why guests say the home is comfortable! (PS...we are also super convenient.)

The communication throughout our stay was exceptional. All the information we needed was easy to find and clearly laid out, and every question we had was answered quickly. The recommendations for places to eat, things to do, and how to navigate the home were incredibly detailed and helpful. We only stayed 2 nights and visited the Georgia Aquarium. The house was exactly as represented. Lots of character and very well stocked with essentials. The front porch was a wonderful plus for us. There were 5 of us, 4 siblings in our 60’s and our 94 year old father. We spent both evenings there sitting on the porch, talking and laughing. Our host was very easy to communicate with. She provided lots of info that made our stay easy and stress free and responded quickly with any of our questions or concerns.

My favorite sentence in this review is "house was exactly as represented". We strive for this. Our home won't meet the needs of every single guest. A great stay starts with us helping a guest ensure we are the best fit for them ... we are usually a great fit for guests excited to see Atlanta, have cool activities planned, maybe have some work to do - but truly want to experience Atlanta in a real neighborhood. This guest was a great fit. And they left our home exactly as it was when they arrive. We would gladly host the guest again in the future. Laura’s house is super cute and comfy!! We all had our own beds for sleeping and the family room was spacious for us all to hang out together. Laura was great with all the recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. We even had some snack waiting for us when we got there. Thank you so much for letting us use your place. We loved it! We will definitely be back!

We LOVE repeat guests! Especially those who take extra care with the home and our neighbors. We would gladly host Robert again and are pleased our home was convenient to the places he needed to get to. We ARE in a really easy spot - close to downtown - but it does not feel like downtown. We have owls, and falcons, and raccoons. We have the highest concentration of trees in all of Atlanta - which makes for some great habitat for wildlife. Come see our little home in the CITY.

We don't have a written mission and values statement for our family rental -- but if we did, charming and clean would absolutely be on the list of values. We strive to ensure our home is always clean and comfortable for our guests. We would definitely welcome Michelle back to visit us again if she finds herself in Atlanta in the future. Enjoyable stay

We enjoyed our time at Capital Stay. It was fairly close to downtown. Our host was very helpful with any questions and requests we had. We would definitely stay here again.

We are glad Ms. Karen found our home to be convenient. We really are in a great spot. We are close to downtown, the stadiums, the zoo, aquarium, national landmarks, etc. And we do provide this great location at a very reasonable price point. We love travelers and enjoy offering our home at a price families can afford. We would absolutely love for Ms. Karen to stay with us again in the future.

Short stay

Although we were only there for a few days, we really enjoyed our stay and our hostess was extremely helpful. We loved the house and all the amenities, it made our stay feel like home.

We always say guests should stay longer! :) Atlanta has so much to offer, that most guests just scrape the surface. Either a long stay or a weekend, we are pleased to have guests like Joseph. We definitely want our guests to feel at home - and we are glad he did. We would gladly welcome Joseph back to Hartford House in Atlanta.
