The cabin is situated in quiet rural farmland community on a 140+ acre farm surrounded by beautiful meadows, rolling hills, & wooded hillsides....

*Conveniently & centrally located in Mansfield, PA, home of Mansfield University- it also within short driving distance of Wellsboro, Pa and the famous PA Grand Canyon! Also within a short driving distance to Corning, NY- Home of the Corning Glass Museum, and just an hour drive to Watkins Glen, and the beautiful Finger Lakes Region & wineries!

CABIN DESCRIPTION:
*Our rustic & cozy rooms have comfortable furnishings with cozy, plush beds for a restful & pampered stay~
*The cabin sleeps 12 in beds, plus 2 extra cots, and 4 full size sofas.
It features 4-5 bedrooms/sleeping areas, that sleeps 12 people comfortably in beds.
2 completely private bedrooms downstairs, with the master ensuite to the main bathroom.
The 3rd & 4th bedrooms are a very large, semi-private family suite with a king-sized log bed, in bedroom #3, then a beautiful set of full over full bunks, then two more additional twin beds located in sleeping area #4.
Lastly we have the large & spacious sleeping loft, with a beautiful grand queen bed, and a spacious sitting area, which makes a 5th, semi-private bedroom.

*The cabin has an open floor plan with a beautiful, fully equipped kitchen with all the basics you need for cooking, and modern updated appliances!!
The open concept of allows you to enjoy cooking while still being a part of whatever the rest of the family is doing!

The cabin was beautiful and cozy! It had a rustic mountain feel and was just what 5 friends needed to get away and reconnect. Everything was great including the host. My only complaint is with VRBO as they didnt send me the check in information and i had to contact the host directly. Beautiful home, clean, easy to get to, perfect for what we needed!

Family Gathering

We had a short stay to gather with family in Wellsboro. Beautiful home especially if you love Christmas. Felt like we walked into a Hallmark movie. Beautiful location.

Peaceful location

What a beautiful home with great ambiance. Definitely has a rustic romantic feel to it. Also great for families. The house is so beautiful and decorated in an extraordinary way. The owners are easy to get a hold of if you have questions, they respond quickly. We didn't want to leave. It has a fantastic hot tub although we didn't use it because it was to cold out for us to want to try. I highly recommend this place for a peaceful get away. I will surely go again.

Perfect Family Get Away

I was planning a family get away (some of us are from the Toledo, OH area and some from Boston, MA) so this was a good middle grounds for all of us. My wife and I, kids age from 19 to 27 and grandkids from 2-4 were just taken by how awesome the cabin was. From the moment we walked in the door we were impressed. Everyone was so awe struck by all the decorations and how it had such a rustic cabin feel. My wife is an artist was so moved on how everything flowed throughout (now we are possibly looking at a cabin). The bedrooms worked out fine for us and the bathrooms were stocked with paper products and linens, so we didn't have to worry about those. The kitchen had everything we needed. I enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and on the grill- seems like we were either eating, sitting by the fire or playing corn hole the whole time...lol There were a lot of family memories made both at the cabin and some areas we ventured out to. The deer came out like clock work each night as we watched them while we enjoyed an evening fire. Great firewood by the way! We did venture to Mills Creek State Park for some fishing, canoeing, and a picnic. One of the really fun things we did was taking the Ole Covered Wagon ride down the PA Grand Canyon- some great people there! We also did a wine tasting at Shutter Homestead Winery- Rhonda was amazing and we felt so at home- even the grandkids enjoyed an ice cream sandwich provided by Rhonda. Shelly was very responsive and answered any questions we had- which weren't many. This was truly a great experience and all my kids thanked me for finding such a great place to spend a family vacation. Frank Kinor, Jr.

Beautiful and spacious cabin located in the middle of the splendor that is Tioga county. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet get away in norther PA!

Very responsive hosts.

Lots of stuff! We figured a good activity for people with school age children would be a scavenger hunt to count the number of deer (or bear, canoes, fish, lamps, Christmas tree) inside the house. Enjoyed the hot tub, gas grill, and fire pit. Downstairs bathroom was a trip. No shower, just a hand held in a claw foot tub but no shower curtain to keep from spraying the entire bathroom. A lot of seating space both inside and out. Shelly & Steve were very responsive to questions or concerns that we had.

Disconnecting Bliss!

Great property! Spent time with my family and inlaws here. Plenty of space. Great way to disconnect and recharge from the hectic hustle of life. Short drive to the PA Grand Canyon, and plenty of things to do in Wellsboro and Mansfield. Owner is super responsive. Definitely saving this for a future trip.

Nice location in Manfield/Wellsboro area

We found the space to be more than good for our family of 6. Plenty if beds and sitting areas. Nice rural setting, not far from Mansfield/Wellsboro. Comminication with the owners was very good. We enjoyed our stay!

Festive Vacation Cabin with Full Amenities

This cabin is perfect for 3 couples (4 if one doesn't mind having a loft bedroom) or a few families with a bunch of kids. Despite having a lot of holiday and animal decorations the property was spotless. We enjoyed spotting the different wooden bears and stuffed animals throughout the rooms. Shelly called to check in with me the day we arrived and the place is stocked with everything you would need. The kitchen is fully stocked with a huge beautiful frigdge and appliances, as well as basic pantry items. We enjoyed using the grill, sitting by the fire, and drinking morning coffee outside on the wooden rocking chairs daily. Towels, firewood, a giant brita pitcher, linens, and other amenities were provided that I have not seen on other listings. This home is perfect for a retreat into nature, especially if you want to visit Pine Creek Gorge. We had a relaxing weekend here and I would definitely return.

Picturesque Christmas Cabin

My family decided to Vrbo a Christmas Cabin this year. The cabin and setting is picturesque and has a real Hallmark feel. So private and cozy. We enjoyed recharging and reconnecting. Thank you for an amazing stay and allowing us to use the cabin.

Cabin in the country

We enjoyed staying at the cabin. It is well suited for groups of 8 and ours was 10 so it was a little crowded. The owner was very accommodating and responded to messages quickly. I was confused about bedrooms and found that there were 2 bedrooms downstairs with a bathroom with a tub. Upstairs was a loft bedroom, bathroom with a shower and a large bedroom with a king size bed, bunk bed (full size) and 2 twin size beds. We spent a lot of time outside in the large yard, playing frisbee etc. and enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. We were lucky to have wonderful cool weather.
