Come and enjoy this warm inviting ski /summer house with 3 bedrooms which can sleep 8. This is a BYO linen house 😊

Piwari Villa is a Rangataua holiday home, just a 5 minute drive into Ohakune. This lovely mountain base enjoys comfortable living with gorgeous mountain views, an easy 5km drive to the base of Mt Ruapehu and close to mountain bike trails.

The house includes open plan living with a closed fireplace and a spa pool for toasty stays. In summer, soak up the sun and mountain views from the deck when the weather is warmer! The spa is on year round.

Bedroom 1 is fitted with a single bunk set plus a double bed while bedrooms 2 & 3 have a Queen bed each. All beds have duvets & covers & electric blankets; all rooms have a small panel heater. There are plenty of extra blankets also. This is an easy family set up for a mountain escape.

Piwari Villa enjoys spacious yet cosy living, with everything you need for a refreshing Ruapehu getaway... stay in and enjoy the views, or head out to explore.

After a day of hiking, mountain biking or skiing enjoy the a mountain view. We have a big lockable shed for gear (Skis/bikes/boots) - come and enjoy, winter or summer ! There is a great little drying room / cupboard too for gear.

This is a typical old, wooden, rural kiwi bach which we have made homely & cozy - we love to share it with others to come & enjoy 🌝 This is a cosy wee wooden bach - not a luxury lodge ! 🏡

notes-
* There is NO tumble-dryer here, there is a washing line + pegs, a drying room with heated towel rail, hangers, hooks + a drying rack above the fire & this all works well, summer or winter 🔥
* The hairdryer is kept in a drawer in the bunk-room 💆🏽‍♀️
* Be mindful of the little drop-down step between the lounge & diner 🚶🏽‍♂️🚶🏼‍♀️
* Guests must be able to light a fire and chop more kindling as you need. There is a key to the wood-shed you can use to stock up with fire-wood 🔥
* FIREGUARD - is kept behind the drawers in the little back bedroom, or, underneath the bed in the big bedroom - just slide it out to use)
* lockbox - If the lock box is flashing a red light when you use it ... it means the battery is running low!
We would be very grateful if you could change the batteries if you see this. The battery compartment is just on the inside of the door. There are batteries in the corner cupboard of the kitchen ..
This will save you .. and other guests being locked-out of the lock box!

* The shed stores the BBQ tools & bottle & the hose - if you need either of these, please make sure you return these after use and lock the shed, thanks so much 🏠
* We don't have bikes at the house for guest use - sorry
* No pets 🐕
* Please be mindful of the driveway & culvert & water. The driveway is actually quite wide although can be easily misjudged, be aware when reversing in /out, it’s good to have a buddy to guide you ! 😊👍🚘
* Please, no loud, drunken, late night parties, please be respectful to the neighbours and quiet after 10pm
