This is a 3 bedroom seaside cottage it has 2 full baths and 1 half bath, it has all the amenities but is located in a remote setting where you can rest, relax and rejuvenate. A great place to escape from reality where you can sit and relax on the shore in front of the cottage and watch the lobster boats hauling their traps or take a walk along the beach searching for shells and sea glass. The evening sky is great for star gazing or build a fire on the rocks and toast some marshmallows. We are only 6 miles to the entrance to the Schoodic section of Acadia National Park, and the ferry service to Bar Harbor

What a beautiful spot right on the coast. The place was spotless and the setting was so peaceful, exactly what we needed. Loved our walks on the beach every day. We’ll definitely be back!

Another magical visit to Corea! Although this was our first time at Easterly II, it was our third stay at a property in the area managed by this wonderful host! Beautifully decorated, super clean, and equipped with everything you could need. Unrivaled views and access to the natural beauty of Downeast Maine. Other than short trips out to sample the great local food (highly recommend Bell Buoy Seafood Me & Ben’s Ice Cream) or to take a scenic drive around the Schoodic Loop, there is no good reason to leave the cottage, it is just so perfect. Soak up the ocean breezes and savor the walks along the beach (also known as the cottage’s backyard!), because before you know it, it will be time to go home and you won’t want to! Can’t wait to visit again.

Family Vacation

The cottage couldn't have been any better. The cottage was beautiful and the location was great. We really enjoyed coming back to such a nice place after a long day of hiking. Our kids got to explore the beach while my wife and I enjoyed the perfect views from the back porch. Thank you for such a wonderful family vacation.

Great 2 week stay!

Easterly II exceeded our expectations. The view was amazing and the kids loved climbing around on the rocks looking for sea treasures. The house was extremely clean and comfortable and in a very quiet area. We would love to return into the future if we can get on the schedule!

Wonderful and relaxing

Enjoyed watching the tide go in and out and the lobster boats go by. Beds super comfy. Next level clean. If ever in the area would for sure stay here again!

Absolutely stunning!

This house is just perfect!!! The location is great for a day trip to Acadia while being tucked away in a small fishing community with lots to do. Being steps away from the beach was nice for our daughter to go swim while we looked for sea glass. The house looks exactly as pictured and is decorated so nicely!

This was our second stay in the Easterly II cottage and we absolutely loved it! Perfect location, perfect size for our family, and perfect weather! It's all we could have hoped for and more. We will not hesitate to stay here again while visiting the picturesque town of Corea.

This is our fourth trip to Corea but first time staying in Easterly II. We loved every aspect of our stay in this beautiful, tranquil location. The house had everything our family needed, and more! The listing was accurate and the house was very clean and tidy. We enjoyed walking the beach to look for sea glass (or other treasures), exploring Bar & Outer Bar Islands during low tide, hiking the Schoodic Peninsula part of Acadia, and of course the amazing choice of local restaurants. Me & Ben's is a must when in the area! We plan to return for years to come.

Family Maine Getaway

This was our first family trip to Maine. Staying at Easterly II was the highlight for our family, and we plan to be back again next year. Melissa and Daniel are fantastic hosts and the cottage is simply stunning. I enjoyed every moment at the cottage and on the beach. It is a perfect location for a nice retreat with easy access to fresh lobsters and local attractions. I especially love the view from the cottage- breathtaking. Counting down until our next trip!

Absolutely Perfect!

Easterly II Corea Cottage was absolutely perfect! We loved every moment snd didnt want to leave. I was greatly pleased with a nicely stocked spice cabinet and so many essentials provided. This rental exceeded our expectations, the inly negative thing I can say is we didnt stay long enough! Very clean, beautiful location and stocked with everything you need.

The Cottage Coastal Maine Dreams are Made of

This cottage is truly magical. Situated cozily right on the ocean, without a home in sight one feels as though she has the ocean all to herself. The cottage itself is adorable and very clean. Our family which consists of two young children loved being able to comb the beach daily for treasures. The weather while we visited Maine was very rainy but that didn't put a damper on our stay. We loved watching the ocean and burning the cozy fire. Bar Harbor and the main Acadia entrance is about an hour away and the Schoodic entrance of Acadia is 20 minutes away. A small grocery store was a short 20 minutes away. We loved walking to the Corea Co-op to buy the lobsters directly off the boat - the lobster doesn't get much better than that. We also loved watching the lobster boats drive daily right past the cottage. This cottage - with its amazing views - is truly a gem!

I've been primarily an Airbnb customer for 12 years but wasn't finding what I was looking for and this is I think our first VRBO booking; I couldn't have imagined a more perfect place! The constant sounds of the waves from every room in the house was medicine for the burnt out corporate soul. It's truly the nicest rental we've ever booked, the photos don't do it justice! Not only was it incredibly spotless and clean, the decor is fantastic and it's the best stocked house we've ever stayed in. We planned on staying in and cooking the entire time, so all of the glassware, plates, cookware was fantastic. LOVED the lobster mugs for mornings on the deck. The proximity to Lunch on the Wharf was great, and make time to go to Me & Bens for ice cream after lobster. Every morning and afternoon was spent just watching the boats come in and strolling the beach looking for sea glass. Bring water shoes! This is also HANDS DOWN the best location in Corea and I'd argue within the Gouldsboro region. The position on the peninsula, the special mostly private beach and island, the privacy being at the end of the road, the water is RIGHT THERE, I could go on and on!We had a little miscommunication when booking with a dog, but Missy was very accommodating. The trip was really for him and it was a perfect memory for our little family, a true dream! We were incredibly depressed to leave and hope to come back next year. Thank you Missy, Easterly II is a very special place!

A true slice of heaven!

Just spent almost 3 weeks in this delightful cottage. We have rented a lot of VRBo’s, and this is one of our most favorite. The village of Corea is only a 2 mile walk from the cottage and Lunch on the Wharf is very good. The cottage location can’t be beat. The view is fabulous. We enjoyed watching the tides goes in and out. We were able to walk to Inner Bar Island on the sand bar during low tide. The cottage itself is so clean and comfortable and has everything we needed. The owner, Melissa, is very prompt to answer any questions. We are hoping to return next year. Definitely a little slice of heaven!!!

Little bit of heaven in Maine!

Shhh, don't tell anyone, we want it all to ourselves," is what my family said! We loved this property for the natural beauty and solitude. The beach is just steps out the door and takes your breath away. Melissa and Dan are wonderful hosts and made our stay just delightful. We'll be back for sure!

Really relaxing stay. Very comfortable cottage right on a long stretch of beautiful Maine beach. Lots of rocks to climb and plenty of sandy areas, too. Highly recommended.

Always Beautiful

The perfect spot - it’s always beautiful. We love the cottage and the proximity to the ocean. If we don’t buy our own cottage (that’s the plan) by next year, we’ll be back!

Paradise

This is our second time staying at Corea Cottages. The property is phenomenal with wonderful ocean and island views, and practically unknown beach that feels like your own private paradise. The house is well cared for and we found it to be stocked with everything we needed. We will have no hesitation in booking with Dan and Melissa again!

The ocean is just steps away. The view is divine .

This cottage is quaint, cozy and very comfortable. It is located in the perfect location to easily travel to interesting places , be it North, South, East or West. Fresh dug steamer clams and newly caught lobster are for sale 'just down the road' . An organic farm and many fine places to eat are nearby. What's not to love? Scrounging for treasures on the beach is a few steps from the large deck. Leaving for home was not an easy thing to do.

Great place with kids

We just wrapped up our stay at Easterly II with three kids and a dog - this is a fantastic cabin, well stocked with kids books, games, and movies. The views alone are amazing but the opportunities for adventures, hiking, and exploring the beautiful beach and tide pools make this property a very special place for anyone, but particularly a family.
