Palisade Palms Beachfront Condo Oasis

This luxurious condo is located on the beach with amenities you'd expect in a 5-star hotel. This unit is on the 17th floor, and the Bay views are spectacular, with ships coming and going to Galveston and Houston ports. The furnishings are stylish and comfortable. The LG kitchen appliances were installed in 2021. The balcony includes two high-top chairs with an outdoor sectional along with an electric grill. The property features a 24-hour concierge, a 2nd-floor coffee bar, and 2 pools (1 is infinity) with a wading area, and water features for kids. Take the beachside boardwalk to the beach, no crossing the street. East Beach is the best beach in Galveston with more space to walk and hang out. The extensive workout facility has recent Life Fitness Equipment. Relax after a workout or shopping in the dry sauna. Close to the seawall, restaurants, bars, and shopping on the Strand.

Local Attractions: Winter or summer, enjoy Schlitterbahn Water Park for the entire family, especially on those hot summer days. The Strand is a fabulous area about 2 miles away, with an Art District, shopping, and a variety of restaurants. Pier 21 area has narrated boat tours, a drilling rig you can tour, as well as fishing boats for charter. On the Strand visit the Old Fashioned Soda and Taffy Parlor. On the Seawall, enjoy Pleasure Pier amusement park, take a tour in a Duck boat, or a Segway tour, or rent jet skis for the afternoon. Moody Gardens features an IMAX Theater, Butterfly Museum, Paddleboat tour, and Aquarium. NASA Space Center is approx. 30 minutes north, with an outlet mall on the way. Downtown Houston is about 45 minutes away - home of the Houston Rockets, Houston Texans, and Houston Astros.

Amenities in the Condo: Wi-Fi in the condo for your convenience. The primary bedroom features shutters, a Queen Bed with high thread count cotton sheets, a Pottery Barn duvet cover over a down insert, a ceiling fan, and a private bath. The room is very spacious with a double closet and plenty of dresser drawers. Primary has a 32ā€ LED/LCD TV. This room has a view of the Beach and Gulf, the Bay, and a spectacular nighttime view of downtown Galveston. The Primary bath has granite countertops and an oversized soaking tub. A hairdryer is provided with plush towels. The Second bathroom is a full bath with a walk-in shower. It has a mirror cabinet, storage rack, and plenty of plush towels.
The second bedroom also has a queen bed with 100% cotton sheets, a Pottery Barn duvet cover with a down insert, and a 3-drawer dresser. A 32" LED/LCD TV with a floor-to-ceiling window in this room with a bay view. Memory foam pillows are provided in all bedrooms and the iFoam sleeper sofa.

Galveston Family Vacation 2025

We had an amazing time at this condo! It was spotless, beautifully decorated, and offered stunning views of the beach. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, and the pool area was a great place to relax. Jack, the owner, was incredibly friendly and thoughtfulā€”always available to answer questions and offer great suggestions for things to do around Galveston Island. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend for a quiet beach stay! Many activities to do without ever getting back in the car. Access to the beach, kid friendly, walking paths through Beach Town, we all enjoyed this stay! Jack is a great host, his condo is well equipped and feels right at home while you can watch ships from the balcony all day! You must experience this atmosphere!

Wonderful condo! Meticulously clean, wonderful bedding, fully equipped kitchen and great host.. we loved the pool and private beach. Very tight security. Jack informed us of the best restaurants and activities on the island. A great vacation before school started for grandson. Canā€™t wait to go back.

Lovely Escape

Pallisade Palms is stunning! The views from the balcony over the bay and ship channel are spectacular. The condo is very livable, with one of the most comfortable couches in any place we have ever rented (and over the years we have rented many). The kitchen is well equipped with top of the line appliances. The beds are comfortable - the TV is easy to figure out (not all of them are). The owner, Jack, was helpful, availabe by phone or text if you needed him, and knowledgeable about Galveston. All in all, I would recommend this rental in a heartbeat.

Paradise!

This was one of our family's favorite places to stay. The condo is right on the beach with an amazing pool and two hot tubs. Condo was incredibly clean and well stocked. The owner checked in with us multiple times and was amazing to work with. It is close to town but away from the crowds. We cannot recommend this place enough. We made some great memories! Thank you for sharing your place with us!

Great Condo

We have stayed at Palisades Palms several times. This condo was very well stocked. Plenty of dishes, silverware, foil, towels, etc. All appliances seemed brand new. Great view. We loved watching the ships. Easy access to beach. Just far enough from pleasure pier. Perfect place for couples or small family.

Great condo!

This was a great condo for our family of three! You can tell the owners take pride in the finishes and cleanliness. The kitchen is the most well-stocked kitchen of any rental I have stayed. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. It's so nice to have the washer and dryer for a week's stay. We enjoyed the view of the ships and east-side of the island. The amenities at the Palisade Palms with the pools, direct beach access, and game room are the best in Galveston.

Texas with a view

What a wonderful vacation! Jack communicated often about things to do in the area. His place was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. There was nothing we needed-it was all there for us to enjoy! What a lovely home. We watched the freighters and cruise ships on the bay side and had long walks on the beach on the other side. So many amenities!

Already planning our next stay!

Our family of five had the most enjoyable stay at this condo last week. Everything, from the booking, to the check in, to the stay, and to the checkout, was the easiest and most pleasant experience. Mr. Jack, the owner, was very accommodating and offered helpful tips on restaurants, events and activities. The property is luxurious, well maintained and offers many amenities. The condo is incredible. It was immaculately clean, very well stocked (more than expected), functional and spacious. We enjoyed the views of the ships from balcony. We will definitely be returning!

Delightful experience

Other than a couple of minor added charges up front, there were absolutely no problems with renting this unit. The condo was very clean, beautifully decorated, and afforded an awesome view of the east end, ships coming and going, and downtown Galveston. Owner very accessible and helpful. Check in and out very easy. Will hope to return in the fall!

Rainy Days in SW Texas

Location is ideal for access to local attractions, restaurants and other visitor venues yet quiet and very restful. Condo is nice in all aspects, i.e., furnishings, layout, appliances, the decor and amenities for guests - soaps, condiments, etc. Strong considerations for a return to same unit. Four star on cleanliness due to needed floor sweep on arrival. Excellent communication with owner and had great ideas for places to go and things to do. Galveston is a great place to vacation!!!

July/August Galveston Vacation

We had a wonderful time at Jackā€™s Condo. Everything was perfect! The condo had everything you could need for a home away from home vacation! We thoroughly enjoyed the amenities of the property especially the Pool, Game Room and Morning coffee on the 2nd Floor. Everything described in the property description was 100% accurate, the condo was spotless and the location was right on the beach and easy access to the Seawall where a lot of restaurants are and The Strand. Great vacation condo

After booking this reservation, Jack (the owner) called me and told us about to the ā€œgo toā€ restaurants. Shortly before us leaving for Galveston, he called again and gave precise instructions. After check in, he called again. It is so unusual that an owner takes so much interest which we appreciated more than we could say. The condo was really well stocked and seemed like it was a second home. The decor was beautiful. The patio deck is private and the electric grill worked well. We had no issues and look forward to visiting again.

We have long admired the buildings and the expansive beach on the east end of Galveston. We live busy lives in Houston but look forward to relaxing and entertaining at our unit. It's short drive and once you cross the bridge you leave the big city behind. We love our walks on the beach in the early morning then hitting the pool.

We chose Palisade Palms because it is was built in 2007 and is well maintained with full amenities. The east end beach is the best beach on the island while close to restaurants, shops, grocery store and art galleries.

We took a lot of care in selecting the furnishings so it would be stylish yet comfortable and well stocked for our guests. Coastal theme done with taste and the help of Pottery Barn. Two queen beds and a Lane iRest sleeper sofa for comfort. The dining table seats 4 comfortably and 2 more seats at the breakfast bar. The kitchen is fully stocked and the electric grill on the balcony cooks terrific shrimp kabobs, steaks, hamburgers, etc...
