Spacious and luxurious with all the comforts of home and more.
Kim was a very attentive and welcoming host. The apartment exceeded our expectations and is even more impressive then pictured. Everything has been thought of, we didn’t want for anything. We used the outside balcony and bbq much more then we anticipated, it’s a lovely area. We were travelling as a family with our sons aged 19, 16 and 13. It was a perfect fit for us and we’d return in a heartbeat.

Great location
The apartment was so close to everything. It was well appointed and the amount of living area was generous. The only thing I should have done was to ask for the sofa bed to be made up. I assumed there would be bedding available.

Great apartment bookended by unpleasant check in and check out
The apartment itself was perfect with 4 good sized rooms in a busy but relatively quiet street. Plenty of restaurants, shops and cafes with main beach an easy 10 minute stroll away. The provision of turkish towels and a beach bag was an especially nice touch. Outdoor area was also spacious and comfortable.
What really soured our experience was the check in and check out processes. I asked the day prior to arrival whether we could check in earlier as we had lunch plans with Kim, the property manager, saying she would get back to me. She didn't. We arrived, luggage in hand, and asked if she could help us find a place to store our luggage. She flatly responded no. I asked her to please message as soon as the apartment was ready, which she assured us she would. She didn't. Check in time passes and STILL nothing. When we got the keys at 4pm and went in, cleaning products were left in the stair well (for days) and the floors were wet so clearly it wasn't ready in time. The cleaning products disappeared the second afternoon, which bothered us to think someone had accessed our space while we were using it. This negative experience was only amplified on check out when we discovered Kim and the cleaner at the door chatting away and cleaning the external stair well at 9:45am before our scheduled check out. They then entered the apartment while one of our party were still in the bathroom despite us saying so and continuing to clean the stairs as we were trying to bring the rubbish and our luggage out. It was so uncomfortable and ironic considering we weren't able to check in on time and there was this pressure to rush us out before we were ready. Communication was just a complete fail and we won't ever book with Raine & Horne in Byron again.

Hi Joy it was great to meet you and sorry for the inconveniences. We are booked solid back to back and the cleaners can't accommodate early check in or late check out. In less busy times we can often do this. The day before you arrived I let you know the check in is 2pm. The cleaning products were the cleaners. Less staff has made it difficult at times to get the property ready on time but we do our best. Actually my cleaner and I were outside the property and waiting till check out time at 10am. thank you Kim

Highly recommend the stay - fast easy communication and check in. Simple instructions for parking, checking in and checking out. Amazing central location in Byron. Clean modern and spacious great for a large group. Only one tiny gripe is that there is only one set of keys , which makes it a bit tough for a larger group

Superb Accommodation!!
We had our annual mother's group girl's weekend here 14-16 August. There were 8 of us and the unit was superb. The quality and cleanliness was faultless. The location was great. It was also very quiet as we were above a block of shops in the middle of town. It was also great having 2 secure car parks. The photos are exactly as the unit is. The only thing that didn't work was the fireplace. Would definitely stay there again, but make sure you double check the prices as they seem to change.
