Osprey - Diamond Beach - NSW

Osprey is a fully furnished 3 bedroom townhouse located on Diamond Beach that sleeps 6-8 people. The townhouse is on two levels with 2 bathrooms plus extra toilet upstairs. The main bedroom located upstairs with queen size bed features its own balcony and ensuite. Large open plan design kitchen and lounge room leading onto the front balcony overlooking Diamond Beach. Downstairs there are two bedrooms with one having two single beds and the other a Queen bed, with a Futon in the downstairs lounge area. This house has all modern furnishings, timber floor boards, BBQ and beach frontage. WI-FI Available.

A $700 security deposit is required on each booking.

Linen is provided- *Please ensure if you choose to book this property, that the correct amount of guests are included as linen will only be provided for guests confirmed. PLEASE NOTE: Linen for bunk beds will be supplied but top & bottom bunks will NOT be made up.*

Lovely beach front holiday home

Really enjoyed the property, was fully equipped with everything you could need. Easy access to the beach and lovely view from the balcony. Close proximity to shops and eating out restaurants.

Fully inclusive accomodation

This really feels like a home away from home. We went during Easter break when most shops are closed. Really appreciate the fact that linens were provided, pantry fully stacked, kitchen has awesome working appliances and kitchen utensils.. location wise - couldn't get any better, beach just behind the property. We had a blast and can't wait to visit Osprey again in the future.

Perfect Beachfront Property

A wonderful beachfront duplex with lots of extras. Located right in front of the patrolled section of the beach. Main bedroom needs blinds or curtains. Everything else was wonderful.

Beautiful location and property

As always it is an amazing house situated so close to the surf you can listen to waves all night. Really well set up property. New bed in the master was way too hard for my liking. Wife did not mind.

An absolute gem

This is a wonderful property with amazing ocean views, open and well lit, incredibly well stocked with everything you could possibly need and in walking distance to shops and the entrance Ti diamond beach (approx 50m). Highly recommended.

At beautiful Diamond Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is deceptively large and as the living/dining/kitchen area are upstairs the view is amazing. There’s a lovely deck for drinks and snacks. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable but be aware that the fold out bed in the rumpus room is not at good for sleeping. The amenities are new and modern. There is a local pizza shop and a hamburger/fish shop in walking distance, and the Hallidays Point Tavern has good pub grub. If you want to dine out more than that, you will need to drive to Forster or Taree, which both have excellent options. We had an issue with the garage remote but the agent fixed it quickly, and they were very nice.

The property is in a great location and vey well appointed with everything you could need. The beds were comfortable and there was lots of linen provided as well as a pantry full of condiments. We had a few misgivings about the cleaning with some mould problems downstairs and some grubby marks on the floor. We also found the living room to be overly bright in the morning as the sun comes directly into our faces and the glare on the floor is painful. Would recommend some blockout blinds as well as the lovely see through ones already there. It’s a lovely place and quite reasonably priced for its position and I would definitely recommend it.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at Osprey Diamond Beach. Midcoast holidays were great to book and deal with. The location is fabulous and the house was comfortable and well appointed. I was surprised at the extras that were available at the house including beach umbrellas and fishing gear, scooter and sand play toys. Lots of cleaning products and the pantry was well stocked with basics like flour and pasta and so many spices and condiments. There was a bit of dust, especially on the downstairs bedroom mirror and the lamps but overall the place was tidy. The lounges are showing their age but were still comfy and had plenty of cushions. There seemed to be lots of families on holiday in the surrounding properties but the sound of the waves meant that it almost seemed like no one else was there. Beach access is superb and we spent a lot of our time at the beach or relaxing in the house. TV upstairs has limited smart tv/app access, we could only use our netflix on there, but the one downstairs has full app access Netflix/Prime/Channel 7 9 and 10 streaming and ability to download extra apps. Small takeaway, pizza shop, cafe and bottle shop a very short walk around the corner and foodworks is about 7 min drive. Prices are a bit high but is good for convenience. 1/2 hr drive to Forster-Tuncurry with shopping centres and major chains stores. The cafe scene along the Forster shopping strip has a lovely vibe and lots of nice shops with clothes/jewelery/beach toys and accessories. Highly recommend breakfast at Tartt. Cafe and All things Yum for delicuis cakes. Parking can be a bit busy but we managed to find spot both times we went there. We also went to the carnival one night that is just on the north side of the Forster bridge and though it was expensive, the kids had a blast. Would highly recommend this property for a comfortable relaxing stay in a home away from home.

All the furnishings and supplies were of great quality which made it feel more like home. I would definitely stay here again. The only thing I was disappointed with was that we were not advised of the the scheduled power outage for Diamond beach suburb which was from 8am to 4pm. If we had known we would have preplanned the day and would not have been inconvienced.

By the sea

Great property, very well stocked throughout with everything you need in the kitchen, of good quality, for 8 people. Place is clean, flowing, light and airy. Views out the back of the ocean and access just down the street. Lovely to sit on the back balcony and watch the ocean, surfers, runners/walkers etc on the beach just a stone throw away. Loved it and will go back!

Great property on the beach

We visited in April and overall its a great property on the beach. Access to beach is less than 100 meters from the property. Lovely views of the water and sounds of the waves. Fully equipped kitchen with a lot of plates and cutlery. Good to have 2 separate lounge areas with one upstairs and one on ground level. Easy access to ground level from garage especially for seniors citizens with mobility issues. Property has ceiling fans in all rooms and if windows are left open fans won't be necessary. A lot of board games for the family to spend time together and has a good wi fi setup. Please keep in mind only Telstra and Optus mobiles get coverage at the property. The property has smart TV's in both lounges and the Netflix worked for us without having to use our access. Only feedback to property owners would be to put a larger screen TV if possible to enhance the viewing experience. Property management team was helpful and prompt in replying to our queries and requests prior to reaching the property. The property has a small set of shops only 200mters from property with a pizza shop and Liquor shop in it. In summary, it is an up to date newish property hence we had a relaxing stay.Thank you.

We had a lovely, peaceful weekend away. The house was clean and comfortable. The view of the beach from the balcony was amazing. It was only a 2 minute walk to the beach. The beach was beautiful. Thank you so much.
