The Aries Chateau, located only half a block from the beach, embodies everything you could want in a South Padre Island vacation rental. With a private pool in the enclosed back yard and a grill on the porch, enjoy a vacation in privacy and comfort.
Located on the north end of town, this home is an easy walk from the restaurants and shops that South Padre Island has to offer. Heading out the front door, the walk to the ocean is less than a quarter mile. Decorated in an elegant and up-to-date fashion, the chateau welcomes guests who appreciate the finer things in life. The open living spaces encourage socialization and camaraderie, while allowing for individual simultaneous uses of the space. Sofas and chairs set up around a little table are overlooked by a flatscreen TV, complete with a DVD player. If none of the titles in the included DVD library appeal, flip through the cable channels for your favorite show. If you want to make sure you're not missing out on any news, use the wireless Internet to keep abreast of happenings in the wider world. If you're not in the mood to try one of the delicious local restaurants, the stocked kitchen offers an easy and appealing alternative to going out. Take advantage of the coffee maker and blender so everyone can enjoy their favorite beverage. With the dishwasher, you won't have to worry about quarrels over the dishes.
The dining table seats six and is right next to the kitchen for convenience. If you'd rather, dine outside for fresh air and proximity to the grill. On the main floor of the house, two well-appointed bedrooms feature lovely dark wood furniture and a calmingly neutral color scheme. Both the king bed in the master bedroom and the queen in the second bedroom face flatscreen TVs, and the master bedroom has its own private balcony. Upstairs in the open loft are two more beds, so a total of 10 guests can enjoy the home as long as six don't mind a slumber-party atmosphere. In keeping with that theme, there's a fourth TV in the corner of the loft. Two bathrooms mean that shower time can be a more leisurely affair, and with a washer and dryer you can feel free to pack light.
If you can tear yourself away from your private paradise, there are plentiful entertainment options to explore. Seafarers can choose between scuba diving and surfing, or push their comfort zones a bit and try out parasailing. For land-based fun, Clayton's Beach Bar & Grill offers regular Sandcastle Days with live music, workshops, and an Amateur Sand Sculpture Contest. Local restaurants, in addition to their amazing seafood, regularly feature live music. Whatever your interest area, you'll be glad you picked this charming Texas chateau for an exciting beach trip!

We’re excited to inform you that this unit utilizes a comfortable style of bed-making known as Triple Sheeting. Triple Sheeting is proven to be more hygienic and is used by five-star hotels around the world. It consists of a fitted sheet, a flat sheet, a blanket, and finally a decorative top sheet. Due to this change, the pictures for this home may not accurately represent the bedding that will appear during your stay. This has not affected any other amenities or the amount of beds available.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Nice location
Overall we had a nice time. There were several issues that should be addressed with the house, as submitted on the separate exit interview. The house had plenty of space and privacy for different sized groups. It was very easy to get around to the businesses on the island or to walk to the beach.

This place was great for a family of 7!! Its not the Ritz but youve got everything you need and everyone was kept happy! The pool doesnt get deeper than 4 ft but that was perfect to play catch in! Floaties were in the garage if you wanted them and everything was supplied, including the pool towels! Wildlife came by to say hi at nught which was cool and NO CREEPY BUGS!! I will definitely come back to this place. Worth the price!

The outside of the house and the fence needed some tlc, once inside the house it was beautiful. Very accommodating for what we needed. The pool and backyard was very nice and close to the beach. The washer and dryer didnt work, (they knew about the dyer and didnt tell me). Hopefully they are fixing that.

The home was nice and cozy. Me and my family enjoyed it! Loved that it was so close to the corner store and beach. We also enjoyed the pool. It could of been a little more cleaner but it didn’t bother us. Would definitely book again 👍

Location!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Just a block from the beach was perfect! The backyard with pool was great. The pool isn’t heated so was a little too cool for me but it was perfect to sit by the pool enjoying the sun! Backyard was also great for our dog. We had planned on another couple joining us for part of the time but didn’t work out so had way more beds than we needed but we really enjoyed having all the space of the house!
I would recommend the Aires Chateau!

There’s better places out there
Personally, the home my family and I stayed in was very mediocre. The exterior of the house was damaged and a bit run down, pool wasn’t clean upon arrival, and the stove didn’t work which was VERY inconvenient. I did however appreciate the black stone outside. Also, the two bedroom doors downstairs didn’t properly close. Overall, I’d definitely say there’s better places to stay at for the same price.

Our local team confirmed the stovetop was checked before check-in, and all coils were functioning. The pool was cleaned on the day of check-in, and the pump, replaced in March, works properly. We’ve shared concerns about the home’s condition with the owner, as renovations will require a contractor. We’ll inspect the property further after the current reservation. Your input is invaluable, and we hope to provide an improved experience in the future!
