The self realization of a golden opportunity to stay at the “bird of paradise penthouse in the sky,” which overlooks the pacific ocean with a 270 degree unobstructed views from three separate balconies. You can see the white water kiss the sands on ponto beach. You will be nestled in a european coastal community with all amenities at your doorstep.

Entering this tranquil motif of asian fusion interiors throughout this is a newly remodel and renovated space with 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms (cal king & double beds), walk-in closets, bbq deck and wine bar. Enjoy a cup of coffee or toast a glass of wine while gazing on the balconies enjoying the beaches of sunny carlsbad.

The penthouse is situated on second floor and the highest center point of the complex. This is the model unit. As you enter the unit you are greeted with historical artwork and three magnificent panoramic views of the beaches, from the dining room, living room and master bedroom. The interior has state of the art appliances including cable tv and wi-fi. Surrounding you are the lushes green belts, walking paths, pool, jacuzzi, washer and dryer.

The home offers a relaxing vacation getaway designed for that easy peaceful feeling. Take a walk, bike or drive to the beach. Any method would work since your 1.3 miles away from carlsbad state beach. Perfect beach for an outing of surfing, beach volleyball or tanning. Enjoying the sites of downtown carlsbad, encinitas, the carlsbad premier outlets, and breweries. Each have the benefits of dining, shopping and fabulous night life.

Pros Fabulous views, Great location, Nice layout of rooms very well stocked with kitchen, bath, and safty Cons Not cleaned when arrived, Mstr toilet not work 4 days, rug in living room not just dirty but filthy but was repalced quickly dead plants on patios. Not in the VRBO description: 15 steep outside steps to condo, washer and dryer outside unit but free not coin op. Could be wonderful place with upkeep and work maybe this review increase its care.

Wonderful Stay

My husband and I spent a few months at this property and had a wonderful experience. It is a lovely place which is was very well located and convenient to shopping, restaurants, health clubs and major highways. The apartment was well appointed with extremely comfortable beds, Large model smart tv’s, and an air fryer we loved using. It is a cozy two bedroom apartment with no space to spare as the beautiful Asian wood furniture and ornamental pieces take up most of the space; but the sunset view made it smashing. The owner and her property manager were extremely responsive and made major costly repairs when the electrical system was overtaxed and required a costly overhaul and new paint job after the repairs. They have plans to put in new larger windows before we return next year and they keep improving the property. The limitations of this property are structural. It is an upstairs unit and the laundry downstairs is a free community facility with machines that are at best mediocre. Also if you are a senior, there are no elevators so beware of heavy luggage and overpacking as we did. Also the pool is not heated and the jacuzzi doesn’t make it close to 100 degrees hence they are almost always empty in winter. The sauna which could be a godsend has been down since COVID and there are no plans ti make it operational. What you get is a lovely place to stay in Carlsbad with the assurance that your hosts will do everything they can to make your stay wonderful.

Lovely condo in a very nice community

With amazing views of the Pacific, we really enjoyed our time in this roomy condo with all of the amenities. Rae went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had whatever we needed. Groceries, beaches, and parks are all close by for our daily walk, but we also enjoyed just strolling around the condo community.

Stay away from Rae!! Nightmare landlord

There were quite a few difficulties we faced with this property manager: 1. No covid safety and unexpected check-ins. Landlord (Rae) frequently arrived with 0 notice at the apartment, without a mask (during the COVID-19 pandemic) to check on us. This made us feel incredibly unsafe and our privacy was violated. We also deserve 24 hr notice before any visits, this is clear in California law. 2. Mail and packages. Rae did not allow us to have any mail or packages delivered which made our 3 month stay quite difficult. USPS was not able to help us get this sorted out. 3. Lying about move out fees - Rae charged hundreds of dollars in move out fees even though during a final walk-through with Mrs. Stone, the property owner, she didn't mention any of these. She blamed us for issues that already existed with the property before moving out. Again during the move out inspection she arrived without a mask. This ruined the move out process. Overall, this place looks great on the website but beware the landlord. I would not book as there are many similar places in Carlsbad where you will not have the hassle of dealing with Rae.

Home away from home

The property is well-appointed with a beautiful view. Across the street is a large park and shopping and restaurants are close by. The best part, however, is how welcoming the hosts were to me and family. We felt right at home and it made for a great experience.

Excellent Winter Vacation - Cut Short By COBID-19

Elissa and Rae are exceptional as "Land Ladies". They quickly became new friends and very accommodating. A few minor adjustments were made to make our 33 day stay most agreeable. A single car garage was also included with the unit. The amenities described with VRBO Listing are accurate. The ladies even replaced an aging land-line telephone owing to us not having a US cellphone. The COVID-19 cut out vacation by five days. Elissa offered a compensation since it was neither the fault of either party. Elissa and Rae, Thank you both for your excellent hospitality and attentiveness to our comfort. The views are simply amazing here and we have really enjoyed our stay. The property is quiet, clean and charming. This condo has everything necessary to make you feel like you are home (comfortable 2 bed - 2 full bats - walk-in closets - open updated kitchen - luxurious linens- multiple porch/patio areas. Location is great - so many things within easy access - great parks and walking paths too. Swimming pool and laundry are convenient and well-maintained. Ms. Stone and Rae are a delight (always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable) and Flora is sweet as can be!

We enjoyed our three month stay at this well appointed condo with an unobstructed beautiful 180 degree view of the ocean and magnificent sunsets! EC, Rae and Rose made sure that we had everything we needed to insure a restful and comfortable stay in the beautiful two bedroom, two full baths, updated kitchen and walk in closets. We felt right at home!
