The Stables Shiraz Suite was a good choice for our Friday overnight stay in Langhorne Creek. It is in the centre of the town and a short walk from the Bridge Hotel which seems to be a gathering place for locals at the end of the week. The remodelling of the old stables is a great idea and in keeping with our wish to experience some of the history of Langhorne CreekThe bed was excellent. Good windows for fresh air on a cooler summer night. The freshly renovated bathroom is a bonus. This is a B n B and so cooking anything more than breakfast is possible but not really the the point of this accommodation. We booked for dinner at the hotel before booking the room. While still agile, we are elderly, and the stairs to the bedroom are steep. There was plenty of lighting which we used for safe nighttime trips down to the bathroom but some people might find this a bigger concern. All in all, the Shiraz Suite suited us well for a one night visit to a beautiful part of South Australia with three of our favourite wineries, Bleasdale, Lake Breeze and Bremerton close by. Loved my early morning walk.
