Small and quaint but has everything you need!

This was a great stay with friends, short easy walk to the beach! The house is on the smaller side but very updated on the inside and had everything we needed for a fun birthday beach weekend with friends!

Fantastic little beach house.

It was perfect for my family and I. Nice and cozy and decorated to feel like a beach cottage. The kids loved the beach just down the street. It has a great porch as well for sipping coffee and enjoying the birds in the morning.

Beautiful and close to the beach!

The house is beautiful and very well-kept. Itā€™s also a very short walk to the beach. The house had everything we needed and the outdoor shower was convenient when coming back from the beach. Would highly recommend to anyone!

We had a wonderful time ! The house is adorable and has everything you could possibly need. They even had beach toys ! The house is right down the street from the beach . We will definitely stay here again .

AC a real issue as it was on 78 when we arrived. Didn't cool down till mid morning next day 70 degrees.Left it on 65 to keep satifactory temp during stay.Would have been ok if on reasonable temp before our arrival.Dishwasher was full. Outside trash was full.Property was in good condition, lighting very poor.Nice walk to beach.

Family Beach Stay

Perfect spot if youā€™re looking for a quiet beach stay. This house is walking distance to a nice, secluded beach on the west end of the island with about a 20 minute drive to popular destinations during peak time. Bedrooms are small, but the family spaces are ample.

This is a really nice cottage in an excellent neighborhood. We stayed for four nights but would have enjoyed staying longer. It's an easy walk to the beach, and just a few minute's drive from all Galveston has to offer. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, cute house! This house is a short walk to a very quiet beach, which is exactly what I was looking for. Pirates Beach is a great location due to being far enough from the Seawall to be quiet but close enough to drive back on forth for restaurants and shopping. Kitchen was stocked well and the pictures are accurate. Small suggestions: there is no laundry soap provided so make sure you bring some if you will do laundry. Also, the house gets warm at about 3pm until about 8. There are fans in each room but if you are a hot family like we are, that may be a concern. Otherwise great stay, easy check-in, clean accommodations!

This cottage was the best place we ever stayed at. It was quiet, close to the beach and a good distance from the Pier. My husband and I had a very fun weekend since having a baby and was a nice place to reset. Very very clean and cute layout! I would definitely come back!

The house was perfect for us. So clean, stocked well with dishes, towels, sheets and blankets. Comfortable furniture with plenty of places to sleep. Close to the beach. We had a super time. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Such a wonderful beach house!

We had a wonderful time in this cottage. Everything neat, and clean. Well appointed, and everything worked. 1/2 mile walk to the beach Close to Strand, Moody Gardens and Seawolf Park. Perfect house for our vacation

The house is cute. They had beach toys and boogie boards. Had to put away dishes so couldnā€™t just run the dishwasher at check-out, but overall less chores to checkout than other places.

Property was clean, rooms smaller than the pictures suggest but comfortable. Bunk beds wobbly for older kids. I believe there should have been a better stock of toilet paper and paper towels and towels in general. Although the washer and dryer helped. All in all it was a comfy stay for the week

This beach house had some ups and downs. We loved how close the house was to the beach, about a 5 minute walk away. The bedding was comfortable and we got to make ourselves at home. Downside was how hot the house was once we checked in and how it struggled to stay cool during our stay. It was 89 degrees at check in and did not cool down to 72 until 1am. We appreciate the house for providing 4 plug in fans but sadly it wouldnā€™t help that much. A few times when we left the house and came back the AC was set to 72 and we come back to the AC reading 79 after being out and about all day. One thing that was super scary was how we found a broken beer bottle at the outside shower station so we slipped that amenity. I did pick up a plastic wine bottle in case the property manager tried to blame us for leaving it behind. We were not going to touch broken glass at all!! I would highly recommend the property managers to do a better inspection for future guests that plan on checking in. Would have loved for the AC to been on to at least 80, property need a little bit cleaner as we found dirty dishes in the clean cabinet and canā€™t forget the alcohol left behind from a previous guest. One last thing the check in key pad was a bit faulty and the online instructions were incorrect as it stated turn a handle as there is only a number pad and push down tab to enter. Highly confused as how to rate this stay.

A house with a view

From the patio, the beach view is so pretty! Everything was very clean. The beds and pillows were so nice after a day of beach! The kitchen was well stocked with things needed to cook. The appliances are all in great working condition and clean as well. We are a family of five and it was the right size for sure. It is so nice to have a washer and dryer as well as a place to rinse off extra sand.

Very small quaint place. Was big enough for 2 people and maybe small kids. Had everything we needed except not enough plug ins in bedroom. Also did not have enough hot water for 2 consecutive showers. Was a very quiet neighborhood and half a block to beach which we walked. Overall was a nice, affordable place.
