Quaint, Convenient, & Cozy Cottage

My wife stayed on property at Los Pinos Winery to have a much-needed "stay-cation" closer to home. We have been visiting the winery for years, but always thought it would be cool to stay in the cabin nearby. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a one-night stay. The huge plus is its very close proximity to the winery. My only complaint, through no fault of anyone, was the 8 or so trains that came through Saturday morning, blaring their horns constantly (often laying on the horn minutes at a time). This made for a very annoying and restless morning. I am not sure if this is a regular occurrence, but it seemed super excessive and unnecessary. For anyone that lives in the Metroplex and lives in a "no horn" zone, that does not seem to apply here, so just be mindful of that. This was the only thing that kept it from being a fully peaceful experience. Other than that, I give high marks to Los Pinos and the cottage itself.

We had an amazing time! It’s always nice to step away for a while and reset. This place is the spot to do it. The BEST food and a nice little cabin with modern appliances. Well treated through the whole experience. 10/10We shall return!

Very relaxing

The cabin was in a perfect distance from restaurant but close enough to enjoy the patio dining and music. Very relaxing trip for my wife and I. Will be returning for future get away.

A MUST STAY!

As you drive up the county roads you’re thinking “omgosh what did we get ourselves into”? And the. You make the turn into the winery and see all the vines and trees and the beautiful winery and then the Bluejay Cabin and all in the world is good again. Seriously we will be back. Cute, quaint and adorable little place. By the way, the wine is pretty good too…oh, then there’s the restaurant at the winery…triple star food!!! And the host made us feel like family. Again, a must stay!

Quiet get away

Fantastic weekend getaway we started with wine tasting and tour of the winery. We checked into our cabin which was charming. Dinner was fun with live music and great company. We enjoyed a glass of wine & a cup of coffee as we sat and looked out over the vineyard. Next time, we’ll stay an extra day.

We spent a few days in the cottage for our anniversary. Everything was exceptional. Ease of booking, getting booking details, fast response to questions, restaurant staff, winery staff. Everything! We really did feel like part of the winery family. We can't stop telling people about our experience. Definitely recommend it!

Cute and colorful

The bed, linens, pillows were comfortable. Lovely decor.With no food service nearby, we brought food for breakfast for 3 days. Storage and Preparation for bacon, eggs, etc. was difficult with limited space in tiny refrigerator, tiny microwave! The jetted tub proved difficult to enter & exit for one who has 2 artificial knees.We love the area and will return in October. However we will opt for other accommodations nearby.

Wedding anniversary weekend

This is to celebrate our 14 year anniversary. The cottage was beautifully put together, the Jacuzzi was to die for. Time spent in the jacuzzi was the best relaxed I have been for awhile. The restaurant was exquisite we spent most of our time on the outdoor area of the restaurant. All the staff were knowledgeable and helpful, The wine tasting room was pleasant, we enjoyed the music Friday night and Saturday night. The selections of wine were extensive, we end up buying 4 different bottles, though we went into town for a bit there is no reason to leave the property Kudos to the owners, the executive chef (she came to our table during Sunday brunch), the hostesses and the waitstaff we were treated very well. We will definitely be going back

Charming cottage in quiet and peaceful setting.

Enjoyed a nice, peaceful night at the Blue Jay Cottage. After a wonderful dinner at Los Pinos Winery, we walked across the parking lot to a cottage in the trees. The cottage was clean and decorated in such a lovely way. The Scones and Grapes waiting in our room were a pleasant surprise. Would love to visit again.

Adorable cottage tucked away in an incredible winery!

We had a wonderful stay at the Blue Jay Cottage at Los Pinos Ranch Winery. We love this winery and what better way to enjoy it by saying on the property :) Everyone is so wonderful and the hospitality is amazing. We developed new friendships and would highly recommend this cottage. Loved it!

Not as advertised

We showed up at the property and had to dodge wasps to enter. The code worked without an issue. Inside we found light switch fixtures missing, gnats flying all over, a dirty bathtub with hair all over the sides and a toilet that didn’t work properly. I reached out to one of the contacts, who never replied to me, to let them know we would not be staying. I also messaged the owner and never heard back from them. The location was beautiful and the check in process was great. The accommodations need attention.
