The deck is lit with soft dimmable lighting under the shaded deck and rail lighting under the open deck.

The two-level deck has two stairwells with a short flagstone walk to the boathouse, where you can fish, paddleboat, paddleboard, kayak while enjoying the beauty of the wildlife and nature. On the property, you will enjoy the many trees as well as games such as Jenga and frisbee during the day, or deck games such as Uno, Monopoly, checkers, or chess.

In the evening there is a large firepit perfect for an evening fire and delicious smores as you watch the fireflies bring in the evening fun. You will see the stars like never before as the cool breeze from the lake refreshes you after a day on the lake.

Whether you stay at the house or make your way into downtown Mineola for Antique shopping or dessert/ice cream at Grandma Cleda's Sweet Shop or head over to Canton for First Monday or a day of fishing at the famous Lake Fork. A host of hole in the wall restaurants we can guide you to or you can enjoy a cookout on the grill. A day trip to the Mineola Nature reserve or a dairy farm is only minutes away.
