WOOL BAY RETREAT is a comfortable 4 bedroom holiday home that accommodates up to 9 guests.

Kitchen with fridge/freezer, open plan dining and living area, reverse cycle air-conditioner, wall mounted TV with USB ports, no dvd.

Bathroom with vanity and shower, separate w/c, laundry(adjacent to kitchen) with microwave, dishwasher and front loading washing machine.

Gas BBQ, undercover area with outdoor setting, large fully fenced backyard, fish cleaning facility, plenty of room for parking and the boat.

Bed configuration - bed 1 - queen, bed 2 - double, bed 3 - 2 singles, bed 4 - 1 bunk bed plus 1 king single bed.

Pillows and quilts are provided, you will need to bring your own linen - pillow cases, top/bottom sheets, towels/bath mat and tea towels.

Wool Bay is a small beachside settlement situated between Stansbury and Coobowie with an excellent beach and jetty.

Garage is not for use.

No smoking inside

15% discount on off peak nightly tariff for bookings 3 nights or more

Nightly tariffs - cleaning, booking and refundable bond fees apply

Peak - 24th Dec to end of Jan school holidays and Easter: 4 night minimum stay
$170 per night
High - all other school holidays plus long weekends: 3 night minimum stay
$150 per night
Off Peak - school terms: 2 night minimum stay
$130 per night

A very well set out home and enjoyed the different bird life in the front and back yard. Would recommend it to anyone for a pleasant stay.

Very neat and plenty of bedrooms for about 10 guests. Enjoyed birdlife with one type that we have never seen before. Not far from the beach and fishing spots. Great place for a holiday.

We had a wonderful stay. Being a large family and having our family dog made this house perfect for us. There was ample room, a secure yard. It was clean and the back yard was nice. It wasn’t far to the beach and Wool Bay is a central town to the three surrounding towns.Overall a nice quiet stay away .

Bugs in bed & spiders in room

There were bugs in the bed located next to the lounge so we could not use that room, looked like ticks. They only came out at night. Also spiders were in the bedroom off the butlers pantry that also made their way into the babies cot, so we could not use that room

It has everything you need. Plenty of room for kid’s to run around out the back and had a great bbq. Although it’s nothing fancy, furniture is still comfortable and it definitely has everything you need! Great value for money.

quiet family spot

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A great spot to get away in summer. the beach was good for kids and fishing. With so many towns close by its a good spot to base yourself. house was clean and tidy with a great sized yard for kids. during Hot weather the accommodation really struggled to stay cool with only one tiny aircon to service the whole house. 2 rooms did have fans but due to age they had developed excessive noise. We slept in the lounge one night due to heat. The only real other issue for me, which may not be for everyone, was lack of phone connectivity. I had family I needed to be in contact with and a business to manage while away. this could not happen without a drive to a nearby town. I would stay again without hesitation if an appropriate aircon was installed and Wi-Fi enabled. infrastructure. Overall, wool bay was a good short getaway.
