Don't spend your leisure crammed into the average 325 sq. ft. hotel room; this Canal-Front Vacation Home features 1,658 sq. ft. of generous space to move about. Wake up each morning with endless opportunities: dip in the pool, sunbathe, take a trip to the sand bars, go on fishing expeditions, and so much more. You don't have to break the bank, and you certainly don't have to sacrifice any level of comfort or privacy while on vacation. We had a fantastic time

We stayed for a week and had a great time. The home is located in a great quiet neighborhood. Everything we needed even a bait freezer looking forward to staying next year

Property looked similar to how it was listed. The property was clean and the neighbors were all nice. We even say a family of Manatee come by a couple days in the canal! We had a couple minor issues and they came and fixed them right away.

The house is fantastic. Plenty of room for 5 adults. There are multiple gathering spots inside and out. The swimming pool, pool table and ping pong table got a lot of use. The host, Pam, was very helpful and responsive. Definitely would stay here again. (And we saw a manatee in the Chanel by the house!)

Just steps to our boat

Enjoyed the house with pool and dock to keep out boat each day. Highly recommend. Kitchen is fully stocked and grill options as well.

Great Property

We had an excellent stay. The property easily accommodated the 5 of us. We had a few maintenance issues that were readily addressed by management. Also to my surprise we had a weekly cleaning service during our month stay included in the rental which was most welcome. The property is well equipped with plates..... and lots of storage space for our groceries.

The place was perfect for our family of 6. Everything was neat and clean and we were supplied with just about everything we could need. We enjoyed the pool so much and after the first day it was just the right temperature for a relaxing swim. There were so many seating options and the ping pong, pool table, darts, etc were fun to have. The neighborhood was very peaceful and the canal was a positive addition to our stay. We wish we would have had fishing poles or bikes but had lots to do anyway. Marathon was a great location for our first visit to the Keys. My only negative was that I had a couple non urgent questions leading up to the trip that I sent messages about and never had responses.

Dock was great, as fitted our 24 ft boat and no issues with docking as water very calm in there. Parking for 2 vehicles and trailer was very easy with lots of space. Fish cleaning station by the dock was great. Air conditioning work well. Kitchen was well equipped. Beds comfortable. Showers were great! Upstairs in the house was very comfortable and clean. Pool was nice and perfect temperature. Another sink located by the grill, both in great working order. Downstairs also had more cookware and eating crockery and silverware. House was very well equipped.Had a slight issue with the washer but the management brought clean towels daily, so sorted the problem out promptly and machine was fixed before we left. We are a family of 5 and house was a great size for us. Overall, we all had a fantastic time.

Really enjoyed this property

There were a few issues, but the property management is 24 X 7 by phone and they were quick to deal with them. Beautiful home and area. Marathon is in the middle of the Keys so a perfect place to stay. The one negative was that there was a pool and hot tub, however it is not a true hot tub. It's a mildly warm pool and tub and bubbles last about 3 minutes before shutting down. So heated pool and hot tub is not what you would imagine. Otherwise, it was a wonderful stay in a beautiful home.

Thank you for your review. We apologize for any inconveniences encountered during your stay, but we're pleased to read that those items were quickly addressed and you otherwise enjoyed your stay. The Jacuzzi tub is set to the same temperature as the pool so as to prevent overuse. Soaking in high temperatures for more than 15 minutes poses numerous potential health and safety risks; however, the jets are not timed and so we will be certain to investigate this matter. Great house that needs a good cleaning.

This is a great house in a quiet neighborhood, close to stores and restaurants by car as well as the ocean by boat. I would rate it a 4.5 star if it were clean. The first night we noticed that the bottoms of our feet were black from walking around inside the house. This was after we were in for the night and had taken showers. We also found years worth of dust on top of the refrigerator, in the slats of the pocket door on the master bath, on the window frames of the sunroom doors, and there was popcorn on the floor in the hall, we didn't have popcorn. (I have photos) So the next morning I called the management company about the floor turning our feet black, they said they would send the cleaning crew right over, but no one ever came. For the price of this rental, I expected to be able to walk barefoot inside the house after my shower. But again, with a good cleaning, this would be a great place.

There's a second Full Bathroom in the hall. Enjoy the use of the Private, Heated Pool, Jacuzzi Spa Tub, surrounding lounge chairs, and electric George Foreman grill. Bringing a boat? This Canal Front Vacation Home includes slip space for boats up to 60'. Parking won't be a problem! There's space for two vehicles in the carport below the house, two additional vehicles in the driveway, and room for trailer parking to the left of the home/driveway.
