Sharon’s place is lovely and cozy, just across the highway from Lion’s head and Vail village. This condo is a great place for a couple or a couple with a child. It would do ok for two couples for a few days but probably not a long stay. This is a place to be quiet and cozy. Towels, pots, pans, knives, glassware are all very nice. The beds are good quality and very warm. The wood fireplace is great for hanging out and talking or watching television. We cooked a little in the kitchen but didn’t use the grill on the deck. Safeway grocery store and diners for breakfast are very close. Parking is close. The driveway to the parking behind the building is easier to find by walking out back to the parking space rather than following map directions. The bus stop is close. In my experience it’s easy to get a ride to Vail on schedule and somewhat less easy to figure out which bus to take to get back. We drove and parked a couple of times to maximize our time on the slopes. This is a really nice place to stay to enjoy the winter or summer. Sharon keeps her place very nice but she was also a warm and welcoming host who made sure we got settled in and everything was working fine. My brother and I enjoyed our stay very much.
