Waterfront Clear Lake home - Private Dock - use our paddle board & kayak!

Ventura Heights quiet location on the little lake of Clear Lake. Newly remodeled bathroom, painted deck and dock, beautiful knotty pine interior with 48" flatscreen, two refrigerators and many other amenities. Bunk room sleeps 5, Master sleeps 2 and there is also a full size bed and a twin bed in the family room! Cozy up to the gas fireplace at night or belly up to the bar. Spend your mornings in the well lit upper level with panoramic views of the lake. Best fishing on the lake is right off our dock.

Use our paddle board, kayak and many floaties for free!

We have a large gas grill AND a Weber grill in which to cook outside.

Parking is tight on the lake. Two smaller vehicles can fit in our double garage. There is no street parking. Please take this into consideration before you book.

In order to protect our property, we have security cameras on the exterior.

PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS A MAXIMUM OF 8 PEOPLE ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY AT ANY TIME! There is no smoking anywhere on the property, including outside.

OUR boat, and anything within it, is not available for rent or use.

We had an amazing family weekend on Clear Lake. The property was exactly as described. It was wonderful to have lake access so close to the house. Owner was very good to work with and responded to questions quickly.

Fishing trip

This was a fantastic location for a group of guys on a fishing trip. The long dock was very convenient. The only knock would be about one of the neighbors who seemed to watch us very closely.

The home has a beautiful view! Very close to other houses. Parking is limited but this was placed in the description so was aware. The lake definitely is busy, was nice to be able to park boats on the dock.

Waterfront retreat

Home offers plenty of sleeping arrangements 2 bedrooms but lots of other beds for groups that know each other well. Beautiful and peaceful view of the lake. Be prepared for very tight parking in the garage. I suggest cars or 2 row SUVs only.

Great summer getaway

We loved our time in this cabin! Everything was clean and well-appointed. Plenty of dish soap, laundry soap, bath soaps, towels, paper plates, kitchen towels, paper towels. You name itā€”it was there! Our host was incredibly responsive and friendly. The place was exactly like the photos. My Toyota Highlander fit easily in the garage. We used the grill, the dock and the fire pit, too. The neighbors were also very friendly in helping us find a spot to park our large boat and trailer. (Thanks, Ted!) I would stay again in a second!

Girls weekend 24'

Communication was great and check in, along with check out, was very easy. We loved have water accessin the back yard. The neighbors are so friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The spider webs on the deck, chairs, and really all sufaces on the lower deck was a little overwhelming. Other homes around us didnt seem to have as much coverage (some none at all) but we aren't afraid to clean a little cob web off our seat so it wasn't a deal breaker by any means. I can just see how some would be put off. All in all we had a great time and loved being on the lake for girls weekend!

OK but wouldnā€™t be my first choice

The view was beautiful and the property was at the quieter end of the lake. The fire pit was a nice place to hang out around. The cute little town of Clear Lake is less than ten minutes away and has some fun stuff going on. The property itself was just ok though. The inside was way more cluttered than the photos and the kitchen could have been much cleaner. The interior window sills had dead and dried bugs on them and the basement was full of millipedes, including sleeping areas. All of the decks and outdoor spaces were covered in spider webs and dead bugs. The lake had weeds out beyond the dock and was impossible for swimming. It wasnā€™t very useful to be on the lake unless you had access to a boat to go out further, and the kayak referenced in the listing was gross. Overall we made the best of our time there, but itā€™s not really worth it unless you have your own boat. It was a high price to just look at the lake with an unusable waterfront and a house that just wasnā€™t great.
