This beautiful architecturally designed home is the perfect property for a country getaway.

The stylish and comfortable open plan living and dining area to the fully equipped kitchen for the culinary adventurous is complete with breathtaking floor to ceiling windows - you will love the way the sunlight just streams through and in the warmer weather just open this up and absorb the great outdoors with large decked entertainment area, pizza oven and solar heated swimming pool.

GETO accommodates up to 13 guests and is popular with families and groups with 2 king rooms each with their own ensuite with shower and toilet, 2 queen beds, 5 bunk beds and a porter cot as well as an extra bathroom with bathtub and shower. There is also a separate toilet room with hand basin (powder room).

A fully equipped laundry, drying room, fresh linen, air-conditioning and ducted heating throughout will make your stay effortlessly comfortable.

The entry gates of Mt Buller and Mt Stirling are only minutes away, making GETO the perfect location for your winter getaway. And what a great base to enjoy everything else the High Country has to offer - mountain biking, horse riding, local wineries, hiking, fishing, boating, swimming, motor bike riding, and more...

Amazing property

We loved our stay! The house was perfect for two families with two seperate wings. Was a great location to do day trips up to Mt Buller and communication with the hosts was great. Would definitely stay again.

Stunning home!!

Highly recommend this property, my family and I rented this beautiful home for our family ski trip and it was perfect and unbelievably stunning! So peaceful, beautiful surroundings and a great home! Thank you for having us leah!

Wonderful Home

A return visit to GETO did not disappoint. A well appointed kitchen was utilised as well as wonderful wood fired pizzas on the deck. Pool temperature perfect. We will come again.

Beautiful stay by the babbling river.

Leah's house was an absolute treat and was perfect for two couples with 5 kids between us. We loved the fact there are two separate master suites at each end of the house so the place easily accommodates two families and still allows for privacy.The kitchen was well stocked, coffee machine and fresh coffee an added bonus.Our only regret was there was so much to do in the local area ( including a beautiful meal at Delatite Winery and a hike up Timbertop) that we did not get enough time to soak up the deck and the stunning pool.All our children are very keen to come back during the Winter. Perfect place in wither season.Leah was an excellent host and we highly recommend the GETO house.

Perfect family get away

We had the most lovely time at GETO! It’s the most well-equiped homes I’ve ever stayed in! Literally any and every kitchen utensil and appliance. I loved that there were two master bedrooms with ensuites. The river behind the property is a slice of heaven. My only complaint is that there aren’t blinds on most of the bedroom windows but not worth deducting any stars for as the cosy beds with nice linen made up for it!

Amazing stay at the Geto!!

We found the property very neat and tried our best to return in same condition when we were leaving. We were very tempted to go in the outdoor swimming pool, stayed in the pool for an hour at night...then happily swam into the cozy beds awaiting us. The kids had a fantastic time playing around the doorway, pretending the concealed-lit area as racing track. We used the outside woodfire oven and BBQ and they worked great. The design of the house is amazing with very clever utilisation if space.

Merrijiggle

We had a fabulous time at this beautiful property in merrijig. This place was equiped with everything to make our stay incredibly comfortable, relaxing and loads of fun! We used the pool everyday, the bbq and pizza oven were positioned perfectly on the deck overlooking the pool and there was plenty of wood for us to make a fire at night. Beds were super comfy and spare blankets for those chillier evenings. The pool and trees that were set along the banks of river lit up at night with a flick of a button! Such a nice touch. The property sits along a river which the kids loved to play in. 20min drive to up to mt buller, we did a beautiful walk up to the summit. The older kids went horse riding. So much to do and explore! Can’t wait to return to this stunning property. Thanks for having us Leah.

Just Fabulous

Accomodation was superb! Truly spectacular in person! The photos on the website don’t really do the property justice. The accomodation made our annual ski trip to Mt Buller a memorable one. We all loved how spacious and clean the house was. Everything you wanted or needed was available! We cooked in most nights and made great use of the fully equipped kitchen. Our favourite feature was snuggling up around the fire place after a long tiring day. We highly recommend to others and would definitely be coming back!!

Amazing!

Better than the pictures! So relaxing and beautiful. The only difficulty we had was the drive way was difficult to drive out of without damaging our cars due to the rock drainage. Would recommend parking at the top of the property if you have low, two wheel city cars. Other than that, the most amazing stay, will definitely be back!!

GETO wows again!

GETO is a magical place for a getaway with family or friends. Even if the weather isn't perfect for the pool it's great to relax by the fire inside. The river is just at the bottom of the property a short stroll away. If you are thinking about staying at GETO you won't be disappointed! Thanks again Leah

Best Stayz ever

We and our friends (6 adults, 5 kids) loved the property, position and amenities. Really comfortable living for three families and despite the weather not being perfect, we used the pool much more than we thought (late Nov). The property is quite protected from the wind in its little gully. Amazing design and architectural features amaze in what looks like a simple tin shed from the road. - very deceiving! Only room for improvement or things to point out would be no blinds on windows = uninterrupted views but early wake ups. And again, probably due to the design of windows and doors, no fly screens - so bring the Aerogard in the warmer months! Despite this, as the title suggests this is our best Stayz ever. We and our friends have done 9 trips over the last 6 years and we have pretty high standards. Thank you Leah!

Great Geto escape

Fantastic location. Incredibly well equiped with everything you could need. Would like to been made aware of no blinds on bedroom windows. Full moon and sunrise gets you up with the birds. Enjoyed our stay all the same.

Another wonderful stay at beautiful GETO

This is our second stay at GETO and we were wowed yet again by how beautiful this property is! It is the perfect place to relax, enjoy the views and dip in the pool. The house is exceptionally well equipped with great appliance and kitchen/dining items. We loved using the wood fired pizza oven again this year! Thank you Leah for your easy communication and check in process and yet again providing a lovely place for us to enjoy. Little touches like great linen and good wifi really make the difference. Incredible property, it was perfect!

Thank you for our wonderful stay at GETO, this property is even better than the photos! From the moment we walked in we were blown away by the gorgeous design, breathtaking outlook and careful attention to detail. We had a wonderful relaxing weekend away in mid-December before the end of year madness set in and there was absolutely no reason to leave. The property is appointed with excellent furnishings and appliances and was very comfortable and spacious for cooking and eating inside and out for our group of 11. We were lucky enough to have great weather one day to enjoy the excellent pool with bush views but this property would be equally luxurious and enjoyable in winter relaxing in front of the cosy fire. The key pick up and drop off process was seamless. Thanks Leah, we will be back.

GETO, what a beautiful house, great design and very well appointed with everything we needed. A perfect spot with peaceful surroundings. We only wish it could have been warmer, so we could really enjoy the great deck area. Would highly reccomend!

Stunning property in a picturesque location, with access to deletite river.

We had a fantastic time staying at Geto, the property has the wow factor as soon as you walk in, the pictures don't do it justice! The amenities are great, the kitchen has everything you can imagine, from platters to baking accessories. We also utilised the pizza oven, which produced very tatsy woodfired pizzas! One of the kids favourite spots was the attic room. It was a great place for the kids to hide away and the adults appreciated it too! Leah was a great host, always replying promptly to my many questions! The only down fall was channel 7's reception, as we were there over AFL grand final weekend. But overall we would definitely recommend the Geto and look forward to booking again in the summer so we can use the gorgeous pool!
