The host was a very quick and responsive communicator...I always appreciate that! The house was extremely clean and reflected the posted pictures. The highlight of the house is the stunning patio and backyard. We really enjoyed having our morning coffee there. The neighborhood is quiet and in a good location. We'd love to return to San Jose and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The host is very accommodating at this beautiful little house in San Jose. She is quick to respond to messages. The house is beautifully decorated. The back yard is a beautiful lush garden where one can relax and enjoy all the visual treats and surprises which live there. The house is clean and well cared for. I highly recommend I highly recommended this rental.

My family drove down to spend Thanksgiving and the home was perfect. The check in process could not be any easier and the home is beautiful. We ordered a premade turkey dinner that needed to be heated, and every possible plate, pot and utensil was available we needed for nothing. The beds were cozy, and the bathrooms were well stocked. Also, the neighborhood is nice and central to everything. We had such a great stay I highly recommend this place!

LESSON LEARNED: read the check out instructions before booking! Buried in checkout instructions: "There is a unit in the house that it shares only one wall and the driveway with the entire house." Unit is occupied male tenant. I was traveling with my mother-in-law and teen daughter. We broke house rules and had my daughter and future son in law (both local) stay to make us feel safe . The main body of the listing highlights about how the whole property is available... I had been reading listings (well, except checkout instructions) for signs of shared property, did not find anything in this listing to indicate anything other than whole property was available. Had three people review as well, all agreed: listing is misleading. The whole property is not available. The host even asks that when parking, park on the left as the right is used by the "neighbor".... the verbiage used was not "tenant". Technically, this is on me, because I didn't read deep enough. I didn't read the checkout instructions prior to arriving other than a quick glance. My mistake. Very misleading. We stayed because we couldn't make other arrangements. But stayed on the property as little as possible.

VRBO provides a designated House Rules section, and that is where this information is disclosed to every guest before booking. The listing clearly states that there is a separate unit on the property that may or may not be occupied. Over the past 10 years, hundreds of guests have stayed at our home and taken the time to read the listing details and house rules before booking. That is one of the reasons we have consistently received outstanding reviews and have never received negative feedback regarding this disclosure. As hosts, we work hard to provide a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for every guest. In return, we simply ask that guests read the listing details and house rules before making a reservation so they know exactly what to expect. We’re sorry your stay did not meet your expectations, and we appreciate you choosing to stay with us. We wish you all the best in your future travels.

This was the best rental I have ever stayed in. Pam’s beautiful home was clean and full of thoughtful touches such as hand lotion, complimentary coffee, a plethora of cooking items and spices, beautifully manicured backyard, and lots of extra blankets. The beds were comfortable too! There was excellent lighting in the bathrooms, plenty of towels and lots of space to spread out for the 5 of us in my family who stayed there. We appreciated driveway parking and we loved the less than 5 min walk to the Iranian bakery and international grocery store. We chose this home because we needed beds for 5 adults and didn’t want to do a home where someone had to sleep on a pull out couch. We would definitely stay here again. My only request would be more hooks to hang up towels. Pam was communicative, quick to respond and answered every question with helpful details. Thanks, Pam!

If I could, I would give this home a ten. I’ve never rented a home that had everything you could need and more. The beds were great as were the showers. Would loved to have spent more time in the beautiful backyard. Most Impressive was how responsive and helpful our host Pam was. She made our stay exceptional. We will definitely be back.

Great place to stay!

This was a great place to stay - great kitchen and backyard and the neighborhood was in a good location too. You're very close to the freeway and walking distance to groceries, Walgreens, and other shops. We would definitely stay here again and Pam was a great host!
