The Space:

Set high above the shores of Lake Wakatipu, Remarkables Retreat 10 is a spacious three-bedroom holiday home capturing beautiful lake and mountain views from its elevated Frankton Road position.

Spread across three levels, the home offers plenty of room for families, couples or small groups, with open-plan living, a private balcony reinstated in 2025, two newly renovated bathrooms, a renovated dedicated laundry, electric fireplace and flexible bedding for up to six guests. Best of all, all three bedrooms enjoy lake and mountain views, so the outlook isn’t limited to the main living spaces.



MAIN LIVING LEVEL

Enter on the upper level into the open-plan kitchen, dining and living area — the heart of the home and a wonderful place to take in the surrounding scenery.

Large windows fill the space with natural light and frame gorgeous views across Lake Wakatipu to the surrounding mountains. The comfortable lounge features a striking stone feature wall with an electric fireplace, creating a cosy place to relax after a day exploring Queenstown or skiing the nearby mountains.

The dining area opens through bifold doors onto the private balcony, reinstated in 2025. Enjoy your morning coffee outside, settle in with a glass of wine at the end of the day, or simply take in the ever-changing lake and mountain views.

The adjoining kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, whether you’re preparing breakfast before heading out for the day or enjoying a relaxed dinner at home.



MIDDLE LEVEL

Stairs lead down to the middle level, providing a comfortable and private sleeping zone with two bedrooms, both enjoying lake and mountain views, along with the home's two newly renovated bathrooms.

The contemporary bathrooms feature stylish tiled finishes, walk-in showers and modern vanities, giving this level a fresh and modern feel.

Also on this level is the newly renovated dedicated laundry, complete with a laundry tub, washing machine, dryer, generous bench space and storage. It’s a particularly useful addition for families, longer stays and winter holidays when there is plenty of ski gear and clothing to keep organised.



LOWER LEVEL

Continue downstairs to the third bedroom and internal-access garage.

The third bedroom also enjoys lake and mountain views and offers flexible bedding. It can be configured as two Single beds or one King bed on request, making the home adaptable for families, children, couples or groups of adults travelling together.

The garage provides secure parking for one small to medium-sized vehicle and convenient internal access to the home, along with useful space for luggage or ski gear.

After a day exploring Queenstown, skiing, biking or walking the nearby lakeside trail, return home, switch on the fireplace and settle into the comfortable living area while enjoying the alpine outlook..

Guests have private access to the entire home, including the balcony, dedicated laundry and internal-access garage.



The Neighborhood:

Remarkables Retreat enjoys an elevated position on Frankton Road between central Queenstown and Frankton, making it a convenient base for exploring the wider Queenstown area.

The property is adjacent to the popular Frankton Track, a picturesque lakeside walking and cycling trail connecting Frankton with central Queenstown.

Queenstown Airport and the shopping, supermarkets and dining options around Remarkables Park and Five Mile are also within easy driving distance, while downtown Queenstown is approximately a 5–10 minute drive or bus trip, depending on traffic.



Getting Around:

Queenstown's public bus service operates along Frankton Road, with taxi and Uber services also available.

Having a vehicle is convenient for exploring the wider Queenstown region and ski fields.



Other Things to Note:

The home is set across three levels with internal stairs throughout, so guests should be comfortable using stairs during their stay.

Bedroom 3 can be configured as either two Single beds or one King bed. If you would like the King configuration, please request this in advance of your stay.
