Esplanade Elegance: 2 BR, 1.5 BA Apartment in Torquay, Sleeps 5

This 2 bedroom apartment is located in the 'Two Bays' apartments with magnificent ocean views from the balcony & open plan living, dining & kitchen area. This second storey apartment features a comfortable couch which looks out to Torquay's main beach, a 75 inch smart tv, split system heating and cooling, dining for 6, a fully equipped kitchen with oven, air fryer, microwave, dishwasher and the bathroom features a spa bath with a european laundry and a separate powder room.

The master bedroom is fitted with a queen bed, a 45 inch smart tv and built in robes and the second bedroom is fitted with a tri bunk bed (double on bottom, single on top) and built in robes. Full linen is supplied at this property - just need to bring your own berach towels.

The spacious sunny balcony is ideal for outdoor entertaining provided with a BBQ & outdoor setting or simply just relaxing and watching the world go by! This holiday property also offers a great position directly opposite the Torquay front beach and easy walking distance to both Gilbert & Bell Street precincts.

Great place with a fantastic view. You can enjoy the sunrise from both the living room and the balcony in the morning. Stephanie, who we mainly communicated with from the hosting team, was friendly, professional, and very responsive - even over the weekend. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place for our stay!

This is my favourite place to stay in Torquay have been staying here for 5 years each summer. The location is amazing, the property is beautiful, there is instant access to wonderful places to go to, visit and eat at surrounding the property and the view is gorgeous. The host and agency are wonderfully helpful and respond in a very quick and timely manner and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I love coming during the holiday period.

My Favourite place for a summer getaway

I have always loved Torquay and I go there every summer. This place is my favorite place to stay as it is in a great location and within walking distance to all the main attractions. The place is well kept and comforting. I can not wait til next summer.

Thanks for the 5 Star review Brendan. You Cant get much closer to the beach than Esplanade Elegance, whether watching the sunrise or walking across the road for a dip. Definatly helps being next door to Doc Hughes restaurant and a short stroll the main street of torquay. Surf Coast Getaway cant wait to welcome you back next summer

Lovely property

Super house with great appliances and thoughtful provisions left. Good location and easy walk to station. Great cafe for brunch. Really enjoyed our stay and nice deck for sitting out plus bbq. We would come back for sure. Thanks.

Excellent location

Excellent location with great views. Disappointed it didn’t have an air conditioner, just an air cooler as it was hot when we stayed. Also it would have been great to have ceiling fans in living area and bedrooms Other than that we really enjoyed our stay at this property

Great location and views

Nice sized unit, with great views. Unusual instructions on the bunk, saying the top bunk wasn't to be used. It didn't matter for us as we pulled the mattress off and slept in the lounge, but others might find this inconvenient if travelling with two adults and two kids.

Hi Mark, Thank you for your feedback, I addressed this with the owner prior to your stay and advised it would be a better option to include the bunk bed to make the property more appealing to small families. The labels have since been removed and ladder reinstalled. Thank you again and hopefully we can welcome you back to our property in the futute.

not up to par

Firstly great location! But didn't live up to expectations for price. The flyscreen in the bathroom, which was directly over the sink and in your face, was chocked full of dust. The carpet in both bedrooms were heavily stained, like a spotted quoll. The master bedroom door would hit the bedframe making it awkward going around the bed due to size of room. The knifes and utensils in seconded draw where poorly cleaned, there were numerous stains and food bits on most knifes. No toilet paper but some was delivered after a discussion with the agent. Cheap knifes, when I was cutting some cheese the knife handle broke, may seem petty but just another reason it didn't live up to my expectations.

Generally the apartment was comfortable. Kitchen/lounge was great and equipped with everything we needed. Re bedrooms mattresses were reasonably comfortable but curtains were thin keeping no light or heat out...need replacing. We enjoyed our stay very much, the highlight was the location! The Real Estate agents were great and made it all very easy... Communication was friendly, professional and most efficient. Thank you!

Ideal location

Some of the facilities were a bit dated but honestly we were out most of the time so it didn't matter. A great location for the beach, walking tracks and places to eat. Loved it

Beautiful location, average property for the price

I booked the property for its location on the waterfront which was perfect. Unfortunately I can't say the property was perfect. On arrival there was a damp smell in the toilet and bathroom requiring the toilet and bathroom window to remain open throughout our stay and the bath mat certainly needs replacing. Being the middle of winter, the heater was not sufficient to warm the property and the doonas were certainly not warm enough for the winter months. An average property for the price in need of a makeover. That said, the weather was beautiful and we spent most of the weekend exploring the area, it would have been disappointing if we would have had to stay indoors.
