Was looking forward to the hot tub however was told just prior to check in that there was not one. Overall the house was very nice and the host was easy to contact and helpful for dining in the area.

Very nice house

Relaxing and accommodating

The host was very responsive to questions. The place was well cleaned and maintained. Super close to town but still had privacy away from people and commotion. Would absolutely recommend and come back ourselves

Weekend Getaway

It was just the weekend getaway we needed! The cabin was very clean and well equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed watching movies by the fire and spending time in the hot tub! We also liked how convenient it was to run to the store if we had forgotten anything!

Worth the stay

This cabin was so comfortable. We felt right at home. We cooked a little and had everything we needed. The fireplace was my favorite, close seconds were the hot tub overlooking the property, with breathtaking sky views of the sky, the master bathroom and heated floors. Already thinking about our next visit

Amazing place

Everything about this property was excellent!! The location is perfect, it is in the heart of town (close to everything), yet it looks like you are deep in the forest. We enjoyed the cool crisp evening by watching the stars in the hot tub. The house was well-equipped. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen living area was perfect for cooking and hanging with family! It will be our go-to place.

Beautiful place, perfect get-away

We loved everything about this place. It was in the heart of town (close to anything we needed or desired), yet from the deck, it looked like you were in the deep of the forest. The kitchen living area is set up ideally for entertaining friends and family. We were able to cook and talk with everyone. You look out huge cathedral windows while doing so. We enjoyed the hot tub and gazed at the stars in the evenings. The house is very well equipped, the beds are very comfy, and we all took advantage of the "steam" show, which was a pleasant surprise after our hikes. Highly recommend the house and the host.

Jan, we hope you had an enjoyable stay overall. We reached out to the homeowner who wishes you would have contacted them while you were still in residence regarding your concerns so that they had the opportunity to make things right. The owner had their spa service look into your issue and can confirm that the spa is in excellent working condition. Additionally, this home provides a house manual which details the instructions to the spa. We're sorry that you found this home to be outdated as it has been recently renovated. We also know that mattress comfort is extremely personal and subjective, and while the owner has a brand new Purple Mattresses in the master bedroom, we're sorry if you found it not to your liking. As is evidenced by the many great reviews, this owner is accustomed to providing five-star experiences, and we feel confident that future guests will be delighted. Good for big groups that want to be in the center of town.

This wasn't quite the "cabin on a private acre in the woods" that I expected from the pictures. Although the acre is fenced, several neighbor homes line the driveway and directly behind the house is an RV park. It's only about a mile from WalMart, Walgreens and a hospital. I was disappointed from the start after finding the property, looking through the 'welcome' folder which was unprofessional, disorganized and tattered. To be fair, the same info was provided by email, but easier to use printed out. No local/regional tourist brochures, flyers, maps etc were provided. Although clean, most of the furnishings seemed like they were from a college dorm or previous apartments. Although the appliances were nice, the kitchen is NOT well supplied or stocked. Better plan to eat out rather than cook w the limited quality and # of pots/pans/bakeware. I had to go buy TV remote batteries, a step ladder to get in/out of the hot tub and a beach towel to use outside. There were extra paper towels and TP available but no foil, saran wrap, garbage bags, etc and the spices were stale. Although the owner was fairly accessible, she found it amusing that 1) my Android phone directed me 3 miles in the wrong direction, 2) I was unfamiliar with SMARTTV programming "everyone else figures it out quickly" and 3) the bedroom TV did not turn on via the remote -- "well, I know it works" was her reply . The WiFi signal was strong, thankfully. This property is best suited for larger groups who mostly want a place to sleep while exploring the region. Otherwise having to lug patio deck furniture and/or the BBQ in/out of the garage to use isn't worth the effort. I admit that I had just been spoiled by spending several nights at Property # 4505769ha in Pine where I paid less and got more. It was so welcoming, cozy, private and full of 'little extra touches' that make a place feel like home, a visitor feel special and leave you with a desire to return. Here, I left a day early.

Hi Denise, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: -We're sorry if our home's location in a neighborhood caught you off guard. We find it's located in an area with few distractions, and haven't had any previous complaints from guests. -We're sorry to hear that the furniture did not meet your expectations. We've recently purchased new furniture, including a new dining table, for future guests. -We just purchased brand new cookware before your stay and had recently left a new spice rack as well. -There is a ladder for the spa in the garage - we're sorry you weren't able to find this during your stay. -We do keep the patio furniture in the garage to prevent it from getting weathered and dirty so that our guests have optimal comfort while enjoying it during their stay. -We were sorry to hear you had trouble with the GPS - we did our best to direct you with the alternative route we offer guests when they encounter similar issues. We do all we can to make it the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

Great property, nicely appointed

We had a great stay at this property and while it was just my wife and me it would be really good for a family. Had a little trouble finding it at first but the host was right there for us when we needed help. It was definitly one of the best places we've stayed and we've stayed at quite a few. It's conveniently located for shopping and there are a number of restaurants close by. Would gladly stay again.

Pinetop Lakeside Birthday getaway

Absolutely love my getaways to Pinetop Lakeside, however this one tops all of them. This cabin was exactly what we wanted. Very clean, kitchen stocked with all utensils you could need, beds comfortable, and the spa was relaxing. This is our new favorite place!!! As a nurse working COVID for the past 2 years this was a much needed vacation away for my birthday!! We will definitely be back!!! 5 stars all the way around! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great house!

The cabin was great, amazing heated floors and fire place. Brooke was so great with communication the entire time. The only downfall (nobody’s fault) is the big hill you have to drive up to get out…a big snow storm was coming the day we had to leave so we had to leave earlier than we wanted so that we didn’t get stuck on the hill (make sure you have 4WD). Overall, great place for the family!

Amazing stay close to snow

We wanted to get away for the weekend with family and friends. The cabin was perfect for our stay. Even with the neighbors near by, we felt secluded in the woods because the property was so large. It had everything we needed, grill for BBQing, a hot tub for relaxing and an awesome space to play games and explore. The cabin was very comfortable and had more than enough space for our group of 7. We were also close enough to Sunrise Resort to take a drive and find snow and do some sledding. It was the first snow experience for our kids and they loved it! I couldn’t have asked for more. The property owners were very helpful with directions and advise about the property. We had an amazing time and only wished we could have stayed longer.

Everything was perfect

My husband and I rented this cabin for our daughter’s 18th bday. There was a total of 8 of us. Driving up during the evening this placed was a beautiful site. The kids were so excited and this cabin did not disappoint. It has everything. The kids enjoyed the jacuzzi and video game in the loft. I brought food for cooking and baking and the kitchen had everything you would need including a muffin pan (I forgot mine) and a spice rack. Everything was clean and well organized in the cabin. The instructions were clear and detailed. It has a very open floor plan and more than enough space for the 8 of us comfortably. The sauna was a huge plus. Getting there was easy but I can definitely understand the emphasis on all wheel drive during the snowy season. The grounds are well maintained and every window has a beautiful view. Communication was simple, fast and friendly. We were even allowed an early check in : ) 10/10 would highly recommend. Wish we could have stayed longer. My family will share these fun memories forever, thank you

Great time at a great location

The property was nice and close to amenities. There were a few spiders but nothing unexpected. The addition of a second couch would make a large group a bit more comfortable. And of course AC but the temp wasn’t bad even during the day. Overall it was a great way to get away. Thank you so much!
