Enjoy paradise at this 5-bedroom, 2-bathroom house on a beautiful lakefront lot directly on Lake Winnipesaukee. Situated on 'The Broads', the home boasts 180 degree picturesque views of the largest open water on the big lake.

There is not a more attractive location than this perfect balance of privacy and convenience. Enjoy clear water swimming, fishing, walking, hiking or walk to Ellacoya State Park & Beach. Located in Gilford, minutes from Gunstock Ski Resort and Bank of NH Pavilion.

The home is located on a shared piece of property with our primary residence. We live in the home next door and share the waterfront and swimming area, we will not get in your way but you may see us outside on occasion.

The space:

Bright and sunny yet rustic newly renovated 5-bedroom home directly on Lake Winnipesaukee with room for 11 guests, this property is an ideal getaway. Situated on 'The Broads' section of the lake, the home boasts picturesque views of the big lake and mountains. The lake is perfect for swimming, with its sandy pebble bottom and crystal-clear water!

The kitchen is fully-equipped with everything you need to make meals your whole group will love. Enjoy meals at the built-in eating counter or with a side of fresh air out on the patio. The view from here is so appealing it feels like you're floating above the water! 

Inside the cozy Winnipesaukee home you'll find the front living room which provides 200-degree views of the lake and encompassing mountains. When you're not busy marveling at your gorgeous surroundings, relax and indulge in your favorite shows on the flat-screen streaming TV.  Curl up on cooler nights with the gas heating stove while taking in the star filled night sky.

There are two comfortable living areas with ample seating, one with two couches pictured and a desk and office chair overlooking the water for an ideal work from home experience. The other living area has a sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress, ottoman and two comfortable gliding chairs. This living area also has views of the lake and is the ideal spot to curl up and read a book or play a board game. Both living areas feature TVs with streaming.

The dining area is equipped with a 6-person table as well as four stools under the kitchen counter. There is also a smaller table for two, situated in front of a window, which features lovely water views of the lake. If dining al fresco is preferred, guests can barbecue on the gas grill located on the patio, which can be eaten at the outdoor table.

Finish the evening sitting around the propane fire pit toasting marshmallows and reflecting on the days fun.

Make your way to the bedrooms. Whether you're staying in the master bedroom, or one of the other 4 bedrooms, the cozy ambiance and comfortable furniture will ensure a great night's sleep!

Guests have their choice of 5-bedrooms in which to retire for the night. There is a queen-sized master bedroom, with en suite bathroom with shower as well as three other queen size bedrooms, and two bedrooms with twin-sized bunk beds (one includes a third twin trundle). A queen sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress is also located in the second living room. All bedrooms have steaming TVs.

Looking to work from paradise? The are two desks located in the home. One in the living room overlooking the water (pictured) and one in the back bedroom with the bunk beds (pictured).

We do allow kayaks, canoes or paddle boats (and used at your own risk), however do not allow any type of motorboat or jet ski for liability reasons.

Interaction with guests:

This house is on a shared lot with our primary residence. The waterfront and swim area are shared with the owners. No use of the dock and no boats are allowed. Available for questions answered as needed, but we won't be in your way.

Other things to note:


The dock can be used for walking on, sitting & swimming however cannot be used to store a boat or jet ski.

No smoking allowed on the property, inside or outside the home.

Our home next door has an external security camera that overlooks the dock and a Nest doorbell, however they do not look into any internal spaces.

Conveniently located right off Route 11 in Gilford, 20 minutes from I-93. Very short car ride to hundreds of local tourism attractions. Scenic Drive is a local draw for walkers and runners. Lockes Hill Trail is right across the street for a short family-friendly hike. Short drive to Mount Major for hikers who love an incredible view.
