The Casita at The Hacienda, a Beautiful Efficiency Apartment

(May through October we offer discounts on extended stays) The Casita is an exquisite, private, "stand alone" cottage located amidst the lush banana forest and manicured gardens of The Hacienda . The efficiency apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, a terrace overlooking the gardens and a bathroom with luxury towels and a hot water rain shower. There is a queen size bed with a high quality mattress and luxurious linens, a dining area and a love seat. You'll find yoga mats, umbrellas, cloth shopping bags, flashlights, extra blankets, shampoo, cream rinse, shower gel and a hair dryer.

The kitchen has a drip coffee maker, French coffee press, electric kettle, toaster, blender, rice maker, plates, bowls, glasses, cups, silverware, pots and pans, bake wear, assorted mixing bowls, plastic food saver containers, napkins, paper towels, extra trash bags and dish and kitchen towels, dish soap. We provide some coffee and tea to get you started.

Explore the Hacienda complex with walk-ways, terraces and benches and pots of assorted succulents, orchids and bromeliads. Meditation benches line the creek for quiet contemplation or meaningful conversation. Bring your morning coffee or evening glass of wine.

The Hacienda is a 10-minute drive from downtown Boquete. Walk downhill from The Hacienda to the village center in 25 minutes. A taxi is generally $6 per trip.

The Hacienda is located half way up the Jaramillo Mountain in the Jaramilllo Centro area of Panama. We are a 10 minute drive from downtown Boquete. The village center is a 25 minute hike downhill. Let us help you with airport pick-ups in David.

We provide ash trays for smoking outdoors.
We ask that all guests settle down by about 10:00 pm for the peace and serenity of everyone. Treat the gardens with love and care and explore to your heart's content. Walk the paths in the garden at your own risk. Be aware that the rains can make paths slippery. Use caution. No smoking in the rooms at any time. So sorry but no pets allowed, no exceptions. For your safety be extremely careful with glass ware if you are partaking in alcoholic beverages anywhere on the grounds.

The Casita was exactly as advertised, it was clean spacious, and very "homey". The hosts were excellent and communicated on a regular basis. Quincy also provided advice on several houses we were looking at in the area. It also had a beautiful botanical garden. One could tell the building of it was a labor of love and it was very creative. We would go back there in a moment! We would be happy to personally share our experience

Very clean and peaceful. Owners very responsive, friendly and helpful. Beautiful grounds and views. Everything you need to stay. Will definitely be staying again next time.

Great secluded, peaceful location.

The Casita is emerged in nature in a secluded location with beautiful views and a creek running through the property. Great tranquil place on the grounds of hacienda. I love the place, but finding it I was challenging.

5 stars is not enough for this gem of a property. Above and beyond any and all expectations. Equipped and stocked with everything you could possibly need, and more. From the sheets and towels to the cooking and dining ware, it's all there and of the nicest quality. Multiple pages of laminated Information of things to do, places to eat, and maps to get you there. Ciella & Quincy thought of everything and were so very easy to make arrangements with and are super nice folks. Don't leave without strolling the garden path on the property, it is an absolutely gorgeous labor of love with amazing views at the end. About 10 minutes from town, but feels like a world away. Highly recommend and will definitely return if in the Boquete area again.

Stunningly beautiful place! Recommend!!!

Words cannot describe how beautiful this property is. The flowers and plants in the yard are unbelievable! The hosts have put a lot of work into creating and maintaining this property. The apartment is above and beyond what we expected. They are very nice people. We would definitely come back for another stay.

Quincy and Cilea were great hosts. The room was beautiful. The trails were so refreshing to walk on and the coffee was great! Short drive down to town. Would definitely come again!

Beautiful casita in Jaramillo

We had an excellent stay in the casita. The property is beautiful. And the host is very helpful. You are surrounded by nature. The views surrounding the property are breathtaking. The casita has a fully equipped kitchen. We cooked nearly all our meals there. I would 100% recommend the casita for any couple travelling to Boquete, Panama

Nice, peaceful getaway

Had a wonderful experience at the Casita at the Hacienda. Ceila and Quincy were welcoming and helpful. The casita was cozy and had everything we needed including umbrellas we could borrow. Ver pretty scenery from the room.

Beautiful place, has everything you need. The lush grounds and running water are fabulous! I enjoyed being away from town and being able to walk into town when I wanted. The hosts are wonderful!!!

Great little Casita in the Jaramillo area. You are right in the lush mountain. Nice hosts. The shower is nice and warm. There is a full kitchen if you wish to cook. You are in the mountains in a rural area of Panama, so you might have a power outage for a few minutes, but the hosts have provided lanterns for the few moments the power goes out.

A stay in the Cloud Forest

We stayed for 1 week in mid-October. The casita was in good shape, all the amenities working. The owner was away to the US, so all communications were through WhatsApp. Any technical/maintenance issues were relayed to her handyman and dealt with efficiently. During the rainy month of October, the altitude and microclimate resulted in more rain hours than experienced in Boquete and lower altitudes. During the dry months, I'm sure it is magic. The garden and grounds are a work of art.

Great Casita

First off, this location is right near Boquete but just enough out of town to be a bit peaceful which suited us perfectly. The Casita is a quaint little accommodation that easily had everything we needed for a few nights in this area. The kitchen was well stocked with non-food supplies even better than in some bigger places we stayed. The grounds were well cared for and we walked around and were able to see many of the smaller things especially after a good rain shower. Ciella was helpful and friendly and answered the questions we had upon arrival and then left us to ourselves for our stay while still being available for anything we needed. We would easily recommend this Casita to any couple coming to the area for a few nights. Thanks Ciella for a wonderful stay at your Casita.

This is home away from home in Jaramilo Centro, Boquete. Relaxing, cool climate and beautiful host. Worth the drive up the curvy road to the B&B. Our two week stay was fabulous. 👍👍👍👍❤

We decided to construct The Casita at The Hacienda to add to our accommodations. I am an avid gardener and The Hacienda gives me to opportunity to indulge in my favorite activity while creating a lovely space for guests to rest and relax. My husband personally observed every detail of construction and renovation of this entire property. He and I love to boogie board, hike and enjoy wonderful fresh organic food. We love hosting travelers from all over the world. We love Boquete and its amazing people, culture and beauty. We have lived here for over 10 wonderful years.

The Hacienda Apartment and Casita are uniquely situated in an area where manicured gardens, wild jungle fauna and banana forest collide. We are 10 minutes by car or a 20 minute hike from village center but the area feels secluded and very private.
It is not in a typical development but a bit wild and untamed. We have well over 100 banana trees and 5 different variety of bananas. We have lived here for 16 years and really know the area well and are very willing to assist our guests. We are here to serve your needs.

The Hacienda has extraordinary peace and serenity in a glorious garden setting. All rooms are decorated beautifully with luxurious sheets and towels. It is cozy and beautiful with owners who live right on the premises and love hosting guests from all over the world. Hike, take tours and play all day and then come home to The Hacienda and enjoy a great nights rest on a very comfortable mattress.
