Nestled in the pines, this comfortable southern facing unit is done has been recently updated and has nice forest/lake views. The open living area on the mid level includes a high end Ethan Allen sectional sofa, new Samsung smart HDTV and full updated bath, remodeled kitchen, and dining room for 6.

Downstairs level includes two bedrooms and a full bath. The first room off the entrance has 2 twin beds. The Master is at the end of the hall with King bed and beautiful forest/lakeview balcony, full bath attached. Stacked washer/dryer. Loft upstairs with Queen bed and TV. Gas BBQ on the deck, and homeowner association amenities include pool, sauna, hot tub, basketball and tennis courts, pool table and arcade games in the recreation building. Great summer and winter location!

Pool and spas open all summer. Spas open summer and winter daily but limited to Saturdays only in spring & fall. | High Speed Internet is provided with this property, but is not guaranteed.

Great Getaway

Fun place to stay with friends and family! Lovely location - just outside of the towns but still close enough to everything on the North side of the lake. Lovely and quiet and clean.

Cozy place for a family and close to Northstar, restaurants, grocery

Enjoyed the fireplace and seating area. Kitchen is minimally stocked so expect to bring most supplies, but it served our needs and is in a good location.

Perfect place to stay.

This property is perfect for your stay. We enjoyed staying at this property. It was very clean , and had everything we needed for our stay. Lager rooms, great kitchen and BBQ , and central to Kings beach. Definitely recommend, and we will be coming back.

Great spot - responsive management

Love coming to Tahoe with my family every year (3 young children). Location is great - right by mini-golf and Garwoods. Place is cozy and our unit had lake view from the balcony. Couple minor snags (BBQ wouldn't light, leaky sink) were quickly handled by the property managers.

Home away from home

We really enjoyed our staying. The house was very comfortable for our family. Kitchen and bathrooms are very nice equipped. Great location and nice view from master bedroom and family room to the lake, the mountains and sunrise! Clear communication with the owner. The owner provided complete guidance and all is in time. Happy to come back! Thank you!

We were not real impressed with the unit. When I shared my feedback with the rental management company I was told the pictures represented the unit. The bathrooms and kitchen were upgraded; however the rest of the townhome is not. There is very little space to sit outside because the balcony is small. The four of us could not fit on one. The unit has two so we split and sat at each and talked. Hard to describe but not a nice place to sit outside and enjoy he view. The rental company offered a refund but since we didn't have another place to stay (obviously) we decided to spend most of our vacation outside of the unit. I will not be back, and since I left a not so nice review I'm sure not welcome to do so.

Nice condo

It was a nicely maintained condo we visit Tahoe every year. It was an overflow area for our family and served its purpose for the younger adults in our group. We got a bit lost getting there using Google had us turned around. The property was spacious. My older mom couldnā€™t stay because the hill and steps were too steep. Over all the property was nice.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a very nice stay. Very pretty view from the living area, updated and well-equipped kitchen. It is an older condo, but kept up nicely. If I'm going to be picky, new flooring would really make this a really fresh, nice place.Once caveat that should be mentioned is the decline to access the unit. We did not have any problems with it, but anyone with mobility issues would have an extremely difficult time getting in/out of the condo.... especially hauling suitcases, etc up and down the hill.The location is nice and there is a pretty hiking trail/par course quite near the unit. The pool is pretty and a very nice size.Also quite fun to have the mini golf course at the bottom of the hill, along with a nice beach across the street.Overall, a good location and a nice condo.

Cheap for a reason, stay somewhere else.

Overall not very impressed by this property or the complex. It was reasonably priced but I wonā€™t be staying at this complex again. Property: If I owned the place then the property manager would be fired instantly. There were bent frying pans, all the knifes are dull, no dishwasher detergent provided, etc. Most of the extra storage closets are locked so storing skis & boards is difficult without being crammed. The place overall feels very dated, the pictures make it look much nicer. Rooms were a decent size & beds are were comfortable but thatā€™s about the extent of the good things. If you want to hot tub after, youā€™ll need to drive. Complex: This is the only place Iā€™ve ever stayed at that doesnā€™t allow drinks (including water, which is a safety hazard IMO) into the hot tub area. I understand glass but having a beer in the tub after skiing all day is a staple for most people. Thereā€™s literally a guy checking as you enter the lobby to make sure you donā€™t have any drinks, and wonā€™t even allow you to bring water to the locker room. He also closed down earlier than advertised so make sure to get there early. It felt more like being at church summer camp than on a ski vacation. Location is decent though, short drive to the lake & about 30 mins to the slopes. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else, thereā€™s much better options in the area.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Before renting I read many reviews about the walk from the parking area to the home. I donā€™t mind going up and down hill-but that path would benefit from smoothing out., I think itā€™s a hazard. The temperatures happened to be extremely warmer than normal when we were there and without air conditioning it was miserably hot in there. I made a phone call and Shaun went to the store and brought us 2 more fans (as there was only 1) that helped. The kitchen had what we needed for utensils-pots pans etc. the carpet was stained and smelly. I was told it was scheduled to be cleaned.... Too bad it was apparently after our stay. Location was good despite all the construction noise throughout the night.

This was our first stay in unit #128 and agree that is has been the best overall. The unit was very clean and well maintained. The location and view was spectacular (especially with the unexpected early snowfall). We will definitely be requesting Carnelian Woods #128 the next trip we plan to North Lake Tahoe.
