Jeni and John have an awesome place here. It was very clean, well stocked and very convenient for needs. The hosts were readily available and answered all questions promptly. You can’t go wrong staying here. We will be back for sure. One note for anyone else staying; the two single beds are in a room off (within) the room with the king size bed. There is no direct access, persons staying in here would have to walk in and out of the king size room. On a side note, Sandy rocks!!!!! Thanks again for opening your place to others. Loved it there!!!

Everything was absolutely fantastic. Just minutes outside of East Aurora, which is an incredible little town highly recommend staying here. We cannot wait to come back.

The place was very well stocked with everything you need. Great communication from the host as well. The power blipped out for 15 min one evening and she texted the next morning to check in and make sure the internet was working properly.

The house is infested with bugs. We were there for less than 48 hours and had to kill 10 yellow jackets in our upstairs bathroom. Our bedroom had stink bugs, bees, lady bugs etc. The linens smell unclean and musty. There was no WiFi in the house. A window was broken and unfixed, so someone could have broken into the house. Would not recommend staying here if you do not like bugs or do not like clean things. I never write bad reviews, but this house needs to be cleaned, fixed, and an exterminator needs to be hired. Terrible stay.

We loved our stay at the cottage - house was super clean and very comfortable. All amenities that you would want (and more) were available. Easy process on arrival and departure. Great location for wedding in East Aurora and easy drive up to Buffalo. Host Jeni was very helpful and responsive both before and during our stay. Would definitely stay here again if we’re ever back in the area

Highly recommend!

The Cottage provided perfect accommodations for our family (myself and spouse, 3 daughters and boyfriends) while attending a wedding at Nottinghill Farm (10 minutes away). The four bedrooms were wonderful, allowing hubby and I to stay on first floor, while the adult kids stayed upstairs. The abundance of bathrooms was a real plus, especially the huge bathroom upstairs that allowed all 3 girls to get ready together. The kitchen was well-equipped and we loved the coffee bar. We enjoyed sitting together on the porch, eating in the dining room and relaxing in the spacious living room. We highly recommend this quaint cottage!

Long Weekend Stay

The Cottage is a perfect blend of old country house and modern convenience. Jeni was a perfect host and responded immediately when we discovered that the TV remote for one of the bedrooms was damaged by replacing it immediately.The property is minutes from downtown East Aurora and a quick hop from route 400 and everything that WNY has to offer!Thanks Jeni!!

Family Gathering

This was a wonderful stay for us! The house was lovely and for our family of 6 perfectly with room to spare! We especially liked the cute shabby chic touches, including a bathroom closet filled with toiletries. So sweet to think of these extra amenities! We would definitely stay here again!

A Great Stay in East Aurora

My family and I have been staying at The Cottage on Big Tree Road for Christmas since 2019. The property is very comfortable, roomy, nicely decorated and exceptionally clean. Everything is well maintained, and every year we notice a few improvements. The owners, Jeni and Jason, are very pleasant, helpful and easy to work with. I highly recommend this cottage.

Fabulous home

We had a great stay for a girls weekend birthday getaway. The home is beautiful as well as the whole property. She’s a great hostess!! The wedding barn is also beautiful and highly recommended. I definitely recommend this as a great place to stay. With many fun shops and good restaurants nearby

Amazing stay!

Family and I stayed to go see Luke Combs in concert and had a great time! We all loved the house, was very clean, very comfortable, lots of space for us to stay and communication with the homeowners was easy with quick response and really nice! There was everything that we needed and minutes to really cute shops and restaurants in town. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you!

A Total Eclipse Weekend

The Cottage was the perfect place for my family to await the total eclipse of 2024. Opening the door, we were welcomed by charming surroundings inviting us to enjoy a carefree stay. To give you an idea of her meticulous attention to details, Jeni even had eclipse glasses set out there for us. Everything we needed and more was there, including some great coffees. The clouds moved in to cover our eclipse view but we still enjoyed every minute in this very comfortable home away from home.

Great Family Holiday

2023 was the fourth Christmas my family and I have stayed here. As always, we had a great time celebrating the holidays with our extended family in Western NY. We continue to stay at this property because it is very nice, spacious and conveniently located. It is well equipped and exceptionally clean. The hostess, Jeni, and her staff are very nice and easy to work with. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice vacation in WNY.

Perfect spot. Great location.

We really enjoyed how close this house was to downtown East Aurora and how quickly we could access 400 to get downtown or to the airport. The house was great! Perfect for our party of 8. Of note, the stairs going up to second level are very steep. Not an issue for us but older guests or younger kids could struggle with those. Otherwise the house was very welcoming. Living room was very spacious and beds very comfy. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!!
