VILLA VAHIMANUI is located hillside 100ft (30 meters) above sea level and only 160 ft (50 meters) from the lagoon. This very exclusive Villa overlooking the crystal blue waters of the lagoon offers incredible romantic sunsets as well as a lot of privacy making it the perfect spot for both honeymooners and families.

This unique 1200 square-foot (110 m2) home is part of a famous luxury complex started by Marlon Brando and Jack Nicholson. The villa accomodation includes 2 bedrooms with air conditioning, 1 bathroom, a modern full kitchen fit for a chef, a living room and a large covered terrace-lanai overlooking the lagoon.

The interior of this luxury wooden built house is particularly roomy thanks to a cathedral ceiling with a spacious living room and one of the bedrooms opened into it allowing exclusive views right from your king sized bed.

Tahiti, the port of entry of French Polynesia is linked by non stop scheduled flights to Los Angeles, NZ, Japan, Hawaii, Australia and with one stop to Paris and most European cities. From Tahiti, a 45-minute-flight takes you to Bora Bora.
There are 2 domestic airline companies in French Polynesia: Air Tahiti and Air Moana. Both airlines link Tahiti with Bora Bora. You can directly book your flights online on their dedicated website.

The plane from Tahiti lands in Bora Bora on Motu Mute, an offshore islet.Then a free shuttle brings you across the lagoon to VAITAPE, Bora Bora's main village. On the wharf in Vaitape, you will pick up your rental car and drive in 15 minutes to our house.

CAR RENTAL
Because there is no public transport service on Bora Bora, you need to rent a car to be independant on the island during your stay . It is essential to go shopping, to go to the restaurant or to visit Bora Bora. You can directly book your rental car online on AVIS car rental website which is the most reliable car rental company in Bora Bora. I don't recommend renting an electric car because there are no electric charging points near the parking lot of our house. I also don't recommend renting scooters because they are not powerful enough to get to our upper parking lot and it is very difficult to carry your food purchase on a scooter to the house.

Le "bungalow" de Pierre est juste magnifique!. Surplombant le lagon, on est directement plonge dans la multitude de bleus qu offre celui-ci. Du lever du soleil au coucher de lune, le spectacle est incrotable...tout cela dans un confort tres agreable, spatieux, lumineux. A NE PAS MANQUER!!( Les bungalows sur l eau ne sont plus à envier une fois poses dans cet endroit...)

Nous avons bien profité de cette belle villa, décorée avec goût. La vue depuis la terrasse sur le lagon est magnifique ainsi que sur les couchers de soleil. la terrasse est immense et nous en avons bien profitée. la villa est très propre et bien équipée (cuisine, séjour, chambres, lave linge séche linge). Toujours de la place au parking, accès depuis la route délicat (ça monte) mais on s'y fait. Les 4 photos ont été prise depuis la terrasse. Les 3 dernières plage de Matira.

Excellent positionnement avec une vue époustouflante mais qui se mérite, il faut gravir les quelques 40 marches pour atteindre le graal. Dommage que des petits détails ne cadrent pas avec le bien. Porte fenêtre difficile à ouvrir. Il faut juste changer les galets. Manque de moustiquaires aux baies vitrées du séjour et de la chambre donnant sur la terrasse.

The views from the terrace over the lagoon are truly spectacular. The Villa is very spacious - especially as we were only 2 using the facilities.It is simply but adequately decorated and the kitchen has an appropriate level of equipment for a holiday stay. The steep stairs up to the property would be challenging for less able guests. Pierre was very responsive to a couple of small issues we had during our stay. The villa is around a 20 minute drive from the wharf and the neighbourhood is very quiet. Guests will definitely need a car to get around the island

Unbelievable view, just like in the listing, from the balcony and through the huge set of windows facing the ocean. The place was huge and spotlessly clean. The owner provided much excellent information before and during our stay, which was extremely helpful and generous. I would definitely stay here again!

Amazing

Pierre was VERY thorough and accommodating. The views of this house are absolutely amazing. The inside is perfect for a family. The communication with the host was nothing short of perfect. He was very ubderstanding, curtious and helpful. We would reccomend this house to everyone! Our family had a wonderful stay and it would not have been the same had it not been for the host and the beautiful house.

This was our fourth stay at Pierre’s house, and we love it more each time! The view from the house is absolutely breathtaking — truly the best. The apartment itself is beautifully equipped, spotless, and peaceful. It’s the perfect getaway.Matira Beach is just a 15-minute drive away, and we love starting our mornings by picking up fresh baguettes from the locals and enjoying breakfast while soaking in the incredible view.Pierre is the best host you could ask for — always responsive, kind, and full of helpful tips for exploring the island. Thank you, Pierre, for another fantastic stay. We can’t wait to come back. Mauruuru!

Well equipped villa at a fantastic location

Overall a brilliant place to stay with everything needed. Only issue was there were dead ants in the kitchen but these were vacuumed using the vacuum provided. Communication with Pierre was great and the views across the lagoon were breathtaking.

Fantastic!! Just the best!!

This was our 3rd stay and we just love this place so much! Everything is great, the condo, the neighborhood and most importantly the view! The condo is very tastefully decorated and has everything you need. Pierre, we are so happy to have found your house and we already plan our next taste!

Second Stay in this villa

This was our second stay at this house. It has a wonderful view from inside the house and also on the patio. It also has a sunset view. It is well-equipped and has beach towels. There is a washer and dryer. The bedrooms have a/c which is needed, as the house can get very hot during the day. This time none of the tour operators would pick us up from the pier so we had to drive to town to get picked up.

Alles in allem eine sehr schöne Unterkunft mit sehr guter Ausstattung. Ein toller Blick von der Terrasse. Was die Wegbeschreibung angeht: Straßennamen angeben bzw. eine genauere Beschreibung, ein Vermerk an den Mülltonnen wird übersehen wenn man aus Veitape anreist.

Paradise - exceeded our wildest expectations!

We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay at Villa Vahimanui and definitely hope to return! The views were so beautiful that it took our breath away …and the villa itself was a very clean, comfortable, well equipped, and relaxing place to stay! Pierre was extremely conscientious and organized in regard to communication…and provided us with very comprehensive information in advance …which helped us prepare for, and enjoy our stay. Pierre was also quick to provide answers to any of our questions! This was our first trip to French Polynesia and Bora Bora. My husband & I stayed at the villa with my parents (in their 70’s/early 80’s … and in good shape ). We had no problem managing the stairs, although, as others have mentioned, it’s a bit of a workout to bring your luggage up in the hot sun …lol…but believe me - it’s totally worth it! We spent our days exploring the island in our rental car, and enjoyed trips to Matira Beach, and snorkeling! We were happy to return back to the villa in the late afternoon to cook meals and enjoy the view from the deck. We had a fabulous time at Pierre’s Villa and are very grateful to have had the opportunity to stay! Thank you ❤️

Second stay and again fantastic!

This has been our second stay at Pierre’s home and it has been super fantastic again! The condominium is just the perfect place to stay, the views are incredible and everything is super clean, and quiet. Pierre is super responsive and super nice to communicate with. Immaculate villa with stunning views

Our family of 4 had an amazing holiday in Bora Bora thanks to the wonderful villa overlooking the lagoon, and extremely helpful owner Pierre. Even a lovely local picked a bunch of bananas off his tree and gave them to us after our morning swim in the beautiful bright blue Lagoon. This was a dream 21st celebration birthday/holiday for our twins Thank you Pierre

The property and the view was very nice.

The property and the view were very nice. We staid 5 nights. The only problem it is on the other side of the Island and if you want to eat or do any grocery shopping or go to the beach you have to drive around 20 - 25 minutes each way. So must be organized. Again, nothing wrong with the place, just be sure you have a car.

Tolle Villa mit fantastischem Ausblick.

Die Villa ist groß und wunderschön. Es ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt und alles ist in einem guten Zustand. Wir haben jeden Tag die Aussicht vom Balkon und aus dem Wohnzimmer genossen. Für die Aussicht lohnt sich jede einzelne Stufe die man für den Aufstieg zur Villa überwinden muss. Leider sind die Fliegenschutzgitter bei der Villa nicht mehr ganz dicht. Wir hatten jeden Tag 2-3 Hornissen in der Villa, trotz geschlossener Fenster und Türen. Auch hat ein Hahn, der auf dem Gelände lebt jeden Morgen ab 05:00 am dafür gesorgt, dass wir auf keinen Fall den wunderschönen Sonnenaufgang verpassen. Es wäre auch schön gewesen, wenn 2 Kajaks zur Verfügung stünden damit man die wunderschöne Lagune auf dem Wasser erkunden könnte. Alles in allem hatten wir eine sehr schöne Zeit in der Villa und können die Villa auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

A dream in Bora Bora

The house is part of a complex on a small hill. The only negative point (if i can find one) is that there is no sign indicating the complex. Anyway, the house is fabulous: a great view with a very nice terrace, very nice forniture and high attention to details. The owner (Pierre) is extremely detailed and he gave us any possible information we could need. It was an excellent choice for staying in Bora Bora and i would highly recommend it.

Excellent quiet and peaceful location

We had a lovely stay here! My boyfriend and I were looking for a peaceful retreat and definitely found it here. All of the conveniences that you need and Pierre is a most attentive host. He has great recommendations on places to go and visit that made our trip even that more memorable. Our only regret is we didn’t stay longer:)

Struggling to leave this place :)

We have just arrived home after two weeks in French Polynesia where my husband and I stayed the last four nights at this beautiful house. The owner represents the house beautifully and it is super clean with great views. He is very particular about keeping the place clean which helps you to keep it bug-free. The air conditioning worked great for sleeping at night (if needed), as there is a constant breeze which is especially lovely in the evenings. He had a great set-up for laundry if needed. Previous reviews balked at the steps. My husband and I are in our early 60s and in good health but a bit chinky and found the steps to be no problem at all. We didn't do any cooking as we preferred to grab a coffee and croissants from the Ptisseried at St. James as we had early starts with Eleuthera Diving. Really world-class dinners at Villa Mahani and St. James. Thank you, Pierre. We'll be back and want to stay much longer. We loved not being in a place full of other tourists and being in your home allowed us such peacefulness. PS: I gave the location 4 stars only because it is a bit pf a drive into town - nothing more than just letting people know.
