Right in the middle of snowmobile, ski & water sports.This amazing house is 7 miles to Boyne Mountain, 10 miles to Gaylord. The property provides room to play indoors and out; great for entertaining large groups! Seated on 7 acres this beautifully renovated farmhouse has 4 bedrooms, bonus sleeping room, & 3 bathrooms and can sleep up to ten. This home is perfect for entertaining. The kitchen adjoins a dining room with a farm table big enough to seat 18. The dining area itself is open to a large living area with two seating areas and a decorative (but non-operable) fireplace. Hardwood floors, gorgeous crown moulding, modern clawfoot tub, and more make this home unique. B1-Master suite has a queen bed and four-piece en-suite; BR2 has a twin bed; BR3 has a queen bed, BR 4 has a king; BR5 ( bonus room with access off the king room has both a full and a twin, with gravity heat and electric heater for supplemental heating to warm the bonus room.

House was really spacious and really nice. It had a whole big, nice coffee bar. Beds were cozy. Huge kitchen and dining room. Bathrooms were nice. Lots of space. Made for a great winter weekend getaway.

The space is wonderful for big families. The kitchen is well stocked. The only two cons is the queen bedroom upstairs had a bunch of bugs (ladybugs and stink bugs) crawling around. Also, space out your showers as we had cold showers here and there trying to get ready. But overall, it was a great space and made us feel right at home.

Perfect Location

We booked this house to enjoy Michigan winter sports. Great for skiing, snowmobiling and all things winter. There are 5 ski resorts near by. We found a great spa in Boyne City and tons of great restaurants. They house is definitely set up for big groups.

A great place close to Boyne. We had 9 and it was plenty big enough for us. The kitchen is modern and stocked with everything you need to cook for a large group. Would stay there again no question.

Beautiful property located conveniently between Gaylord and Boyne Falls. Farmhouse was beautifully updated and well maintained and had plenty of room for our family of 5. Easy drive to ski resort, water park and Gaylord's shopping and restaurants. Would highly recommend this property.

Family Reunion

Overall, it was a good stay. I did not know that the upstairs did not have ac and my adult children and their significant others were very warm and did not sleep well. Notified owners and they were fairly quick to respond with 2 fans. We ran out of hot water, but owner was quick to respond. Iā€™m not sure if the hot water heater is sufficient for 7 adults. The kitchen is AMAZING; very well supplied! The grounds are gorgeous!

Very nice house and property, not 5 bedroom

First the good: The property is gorgeous. We enjoyed walking around and seeing all the plants and the grape arbor. The house itself is very nice, especially the common areas. The kitchen is wonderful and the table and living areas are perfect for a larger family stay. The location is amazing to be equidistant and take day trips to many locations in northwest Michigan. We did a day at torch lake, a day in charlevoix, a day in boyne city and a day in gaylord....all are within about a 30 min drive. The owners of the house are nice and understanding and fairly responsive. Things to note with this listing. Its not truly a 5 bedroom. The fifth bedroom that is listed as connected to the king bedroom, its really just the very large closet that they put some beds in. There are lights in it, but no electrical plugs and no air circulation. Theres also no other door than to go through the big bedroom to get out and the ceilings are slanted so its not really fit for any adults to stay in. This really messed up our plans for bed assignments with our large family so people should be aware of this a head of time. The bedroom part of the house must be the original part of the farm house. Its very quiant and well restored, but as with old houses, its VERY creaky. If you have any light sleepers in your party, this may be a problem. Just something to be aware of when booking.

Family Reunion

Wonderful clean house. Downstairs space was amazing!!! Kitchen was well equipped. Dining room space worked well for both dining ...and remote working with a multiplied around the table. Nice patio on the back of the house to enjoy sunshine and moring coffee. Interesting grounds to explore while getting your morning walk in. Would definately recommend.

Perfect Winter Retreat

This place was exactly what we needed to have 2 families stay together for the new year! The kitchen and dining area were perfect for the 9 of us to hang out between sessions of skiing at Boyne Mountain. The instant water heater was awesome considering many of us showered at the end of the day and we never ran out of hot water! Our only issue was that the room set-up was a little strange upstairs since there was a small area that looked carved out of the attic where there were two small beds, but since we had two small kids with us that made it the perfect area for them to sleep in. Overall great house that was perfect for multiple families to sleep at and hang out! The kitchen was fantastic to entertain in! We will stay here again!

Great Wedding venue

Beautiful renevated property, but some things need attention. The upstairs bathroom door doesn't close which makes it hard to get privacy. Also the shower curtain was moldy. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

Get away ski weekend in Boyne Mountain area

This is our 2nd time renting this property for a ski weekend with family and friends. Great location and amenities for a larger group. Love the large kitchen area and dining table for 20, where everyone could eat together and play board games and cards too.

Would definitely stay again

We booked this trip with 2 families ( 9 people total...our kids are 18 to 22). The house was very spacious. The layout is beautiful and we had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We arrived December 24 and there was even a Christmas tree. It was such a fun Christmas for all of us. We were there to ski Boyne Mountain and it was super convenient to the slopes. We all skied Christmas Day and the 2nd day while the kids skied we visited a winery and sat in a cute igloo and played cards. The owner was super responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend the place. A+++

Wonderful weekend getaway!

The house was clean, well stocked, had comfortable beds, plenty of seating and bright. Out of all of the VRBOā€™s this has been by the far the cleanest place we have stayed. The kitchen had plenty of plates, cups and utensils. We all were comfortable for the weekend. The next time we come to Boyne we will definitely stay stay here.

Very pleasant stay

House was very charming and clean and the beds were comfortable. Kitchen was nicely renovated with plenty of counter space and fully stocked with plates, glasses, silverware, pots, pans etc... as well as a nice coffee maker and toaster. The large kitchen table was a nice gathering place for breakfast, dinners and game nights. House was decorated for the holidays which was a nice touch. Property manager was very responsive and easy to get a hold of. We had quite a bit of snow one day and the driveway was plowed / taken care of the same day which was very nice. We were only about 7 miles away from Boyne Mountain so it only took a few minutes to get there. Overall a very nice stay our entire party enjoyed.

A place to stay

The property was okay. It had everything we needed and was a great place to be able to stay with the dog. The heater upstairs didn't work well so if you go in cold weather be prepared to need extra blankets.
