White water rafting on the South Fork and Main Payette; hundreds of miles of ATV and mountain biking trails; back packing and day hikes; Deer and Elk hunting; Flyfishing for native rainbow trout; natural hot springs close by.

We had a wonderful time! Such a beautiful location and the cabin was perfect! It was clean, adorable and furnished with all the essentials and more. The kids floated the river while the adults relaxed, read and played games. Overall great experience, we will definitely be back!

Great place to stay. Peaceful listening to the river flow, Meadow in front of house with deer.

Best VRBO I've stayed at. Cleanest, and most well stocked VRBO I've been to.Great communication with owner. Lot's to do around the area.Loved sitting around the campfire at night listening to the river right in front of you.Great place to stay. Highly recommend, and would stay there again.

We love this home on the river! Everything about this home was perfect. Great place for the adults and our grandchildren to play. Perfectly located near trails and beautiful sights. We rented side by sides and saw some elk and antelopes on Bear Valley, visited some hot springs and Stanley and Garden Valley was just a short drive away. Looking forward to staying here again. Also some really good places to eat nearby.

A lovely place!

PEACEFUL & beautiful cabin! I especially loved that the river is right behind the cabin. The only drawback was the close proximity of the wildfires and all the smoke. The cabin is fully furnished with everything a guest could possibly need or want. Extra blankets & bedding, laundry facilities, indoor fireplace, condiments... even a bottle of After Sun Soothing Gel with Aloe in the fridge! Thank you!!😉 Our check in process was disappointing, as we never received detailed instructions regarding key location, lockbox code, or wifi password and were unable to contact host via phone because we did not have her # prior to arriving at the cabin. Thank you for the folder with info about hikes & hot springs, host contact info, etc. We found this very helpful!

We had issues getting the TV to work but it worked out ok because the weather was beautiful. Thank you Jennifer for the great place to use on our vacation.

Heaven on Earth!!

Visiting from Indiana and spent 3 nights at the Cozy Cabin. It was the best part of our whole trip!! The cabin itself was comfy and homey and smelled so fresh! Well stocked pantry with all the essentials. The grounds are gorgeous! So much privacy and just pristine. The dvd selection is top tier! So close to the gorgeous hot springs and park trails. I would buy this property if I could!! It’s perfect. Just book it-you won’t regret a moment!

Lowman Getaway

Could not have asked for more beautiful location. We had a wonderful time. The river is amazing we and our doggies loved it. The cabin is so well maintained and stock. The owners are great at responding. Overall can’t say enough good things about this place. We hope to come back soon.

My whole family enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Being right on the river can’t be beat. The hot springs nearby were amazing as well. I wish we would have stayed longer!

River get away

Loved the location. The house has so much history and great feelings. Very well stocked and awesome backyard right on the River. Very comfortable for four adults and dog. Highly recommend.

A little piece of heaven on earth...

Our family of 8 could not have asked for a more peaceful and joyous experience! Upon arriving we couldn't believe how serene and beautiful the scenery was. And even more to be right on the river and hearing the river running was so incredible! The cabin was extremely clean and very cozy. It's super cute and we felt very much at home. We played games, BBQd, spent time by the fire, went for long walks, I mean, it was the best time ever! Communication with the owner was super easy and she was beyond kind and answered questions quickly. I wish there was a way to express just how peaceful and enjoyable our time there was. We feel very rested, rejuvenated, and ready to come again as soon as we can! Can't wait!!!

The best in Lowman area

Cabin situated right on the river! Perfection. Clean and well cared for inside and out. Plenty of paper products, charging stations, well equipped kitchen, laundry and beds comfy. We couldn’t have asked for more. We did lots of hiking, hot springs and exploring. Caution: bring food for your entire stay (we did). Little to purchase nearby and prices high.

Thanksgiving Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our Thanksgiving getaway with family, friends and our dogs in Lowman at this beautiful and very comfortable cabin. We truly felt at home and relaxed! It was very well stocked, private, clean and just a perfect location along the river. We'd love to come back again someday!

What A Gem!!

We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin! The back patio is wonderful with plenty of seating and hooks to hang towels and waders. My husband really enjoyed fishing in the river and we both loved falling asleep to the sound of the river. This is one of the cleanest and well stocked places we've ever stayed! The owners have truly thought of everything. In addition, they were kind enough to let us know of a road closure and detour in advance! The location is nice- secluded, yet an easy drive to Stanley. We would recommend this and stay here again ourselves!

Amazing experience and wonderful cabin. Great place!

The cabin was lovely and the accommodations were top notch. We enjoyed our experience completely and working with the owners/manager in all aspects was great! Highly recommend. Great amenities such as fire pit, yard games and river right out the back door. Great oasis.

Beautiful spot right on the river!

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin - the location right on the river was great. It was fully stocked as advertised and we had a good time fishing, relaxing and making smores. The location was great for hiking and hot springs. Thank you to our cabin host!!

The Perfect Escape!

The Cozy Cabin On The South Fork Of The Payette River is the perfect place to relax and escape from daily busy life. Doug is very responsive and helpful from beginning to end. Being on the river with the views is magnificent. The cabin is everything you need...its perfect. We loved our stay and cannot wait to go back! NICE RIVER HOUSE

Well- appointed house on the south fork of the Payette River. Walk into the river right from the yard. Although the house does not have A/C, we left the windows and blinds closed during the day and the house stayed cool. And a couple days the temperature reached 100 degrees. Excellent location within reasonable driving distance to Stanley and Cascade. Very good communication from the owner. Would definitely stay here if ever in the area again.

Fantastic and Relaxing Getaway

Cabin. Everything was exactly as described. Beds were comfortable and it really did cool down in the evening. Sleeping with windows open and listening to river was so nice! Plenty of pots and pans and dishes and such - very well supplied. Would love to stay here again!

Weekend away with friends

Doug's cabin was absolutely perfect for our group of 4 to spend the weekend in Lowman, and attend a wedding just up the river. Everything was clean, and well stocked with anything we could have needed. The location is beautiful! We enjoyed coffee by the river in the morning, and wine by the fire in the evening. It was wonderful. Highly recommend!

Awesome... !!

This was our second stay at the cabin in lowman and it just keeps getting better.. spotlessly clean.. The owners are great, the home is stocked to the brim with everything you need.. we had a wonderful time... this was our 2nd stay here, the first time was in march. Such a contrast with the snow then to the beautiful green now... loved the geese in the mornings and the deer across the river... such a beautiful place to escape for a few days or a week... looking forward to our next visit
